This is super glittery. DO NOT put it all over your face or risk looking like an oompa loompa. Packaging is cheap, I had to put it back together. Would not buy again.

I have this in the lighter shade. I use it for contouring, and it works just fine for this purpose. But I can't use it as an overall bronzer or as a blush, because it would look like dirt on me (I'm a NW20).

i do agree with those saying that this is too light to be a bronzer it truly is, but it is called "sunlight" what did you expect tbh? i am a medium to olive skin tone and this actually matches my skin colour so ofc it is more like a foundation powder! it has like no shimmer in it except for a tiny amount. i like using this as a setting powder or using it to lighten a darker bronzer and it is fab for that:)

I know people say this is a really crap bronzer because its not pigmented, but i actaully dont mind it. Its sheer it true, but quite buidlable to an extent. I like it because some bronzers are too shimmery or they just make me look to dark. This gives me a very subtle glow and I like that. I actually use it to set my tinted moisturizer or over my mineral powder. I do have to swirl my brush in it quite a bit to get a decent amount on my brush but hey, it was $5, cant complain. There is very very small amount of shimmer, but it does nto show up on the skin which is a bonus because i cant stand sparkly bronzers. The product is very compacted hard and i think this is what is the problem with the bronzer, its not a soft product so that why you really need to swirl your brush into it to make a difference. The pakaging like most maybelline products is crapola. A flimsy plastic lid and crappy brush which i threw out. I really think Maybelline really needs to start improving their packaging line. Anyway this bronzer isnt for everyone and usualy i would say buy it, but for this I will say, save your dollars and look at getting another bronzer with more pigmentation.

My fair-skinned friend had given this to me and it doesn't show up on me at all. I had planned to use this as a highlighter but it's little glitters in the powder that don't even show up. Not that I like glitters but I tried to pack this on and even the glitters don't show. I dug my finger around in it to swatch it and nothing. Just like a foundation powder except that one or two very small sparkles may show so that ruins that idea.. I don't get how people say this is orangey.. Asked my friend later and she said this doesn't even show on her.

This is far too light to be a bronzer ... but I guess it could work as a highlighter in some cases. But even using it as a highlighter, I find that it does NOT show up on my skin at all. And I'm a pretty fair skinned too (NC20-25ish) From the packaging, it looks like it could've been a nice light color I could maybe use to contour with but nope!

wouldn't call this a bronzer but as a highlighter works well :)
it gives off a nice glow but it most def dosent have overpowering shimmer/glitter. it really dosent! it has minimal shimmer you can hardly notice. nice for brushing over eyes &nose. perfect for summer! this is a good find overall.

I recently just finished this bronzer. It's very nice for people with light to medium skin tones. Being NC25, I used it very lightly even though pigmentation is not the greatest, and it gives me a nice sun-kissed glow. :) There is some shimmer, but it's not over-powering to the point where it comes off looking fake. Has never made me look orange, but I guess if too much is used, it can. A good find at a good price.

it was quite cheap for a bronzer of its quality, around $4.50, i think. i've gone through three containers of this bronzer so far & haven't had any trouble with my brush except for the second container. it looks very shimmery when splotched but it comes on nice & matte with a small hint of shimmer. i'm usually in the three lightest shades of foundation & this bronzer looks wonderful on me. i'd recommend it for a nice drugstore bronzer.

The container is pretty ugly in an orangey rectangle with a hideous itchy brush. The bronzer has staying powder but is quite sheer. I'm not too keen on the sparkles in the pan although it doesn't look like that on the skin the glitter seems to be not overly noticable. On my skin it tends to be a bit too orange if I'm not too careful with it. I'm not too keen on the rectangle shape of the blusher at all as well as after about 10 uses it cracked and shattered. Would not buy again! But as my second bronzer purchase I suppose I could of done a lot worse.

This bronzer has very poor pigmentation, so for those only looking for a light dusting of bronze all over the face, you can try this out. There's noticable shimmer in SunLight, so I wouldn't recommend this product for contouring your face. I mostly use it as a blush to add a bit of sheen to my cheeks, but it's far from making my favorite product list.

The little brush they include is pretty useless and scratchy, it's only good for on-the-go application. You have to really scrub at the powder to get any color on there though. My verdict is skip it, there are other much better and cheaper bronzers out there like the Rimmel Natural Bronzers.

When I first purchased this product, I loved it! I used it every day. I have an extremely fair skin tone and find that a lot of bronzers tend to look kind of muddy. This was the second bronzer that I had ever bought. The first was a bad experience and broke me out, so I think that was why I loved this one at the time. Now, having tried many other bronzers, I NEVER reach for this product. It has little to no pigmentation at all and does nothing for the look of my face.

This is a verrryyy light bronzer but it didn't make me completely different from the rest of my body which i really liked. Its more subtle and believable! I will use this on days where i wear strapless shirts etc to look more natural. It's definitely not HOOLA but I like this as a cheaper alternative.

This bronzer is a good one. it gives a slight hint of colour that looks natural and doesn't look to over baring or fake. I love it. and it doesnt break me out. however it has alot of shimmer which I dont like and doesnt really go with my skin tone which is nc25-30.

I have very fair skin with yellow undertones. I purchased this because I figured being so light I would only need a subtle glow. This didn't even show up, no matter how much I layered it. I definitely would not repurchase.

I am in love with Maybelline's Mineral Power line! My look wouldn't be complete without the bronzer though. I have both "Sunlight" and the second darkest bronzer "Sunrise". I use "Sunlight" to add a shimmery golden glow to my NC35 skin, withought making my makeup darker. I use the "Sunrise" when I am a little tanner and need to darken the mineral power powder foundation. Both add that finishing touch that makes my skin radiant and glowing. Also great for enhancing the mineral power blushes! My most favorite bronzers I have ever used!

I like a very subtle bronzing and this helps me acheive that. I am NC25/Maybelline Pure Light 2 and I have to swipe it on my face 2-3 times to get barely noticable colour, so I don't think this will work for skintones any darker. I also agree with the reviewer below that this colour complements yellow undertones. This was an impulse buy for me and I don't think I will be repurchasing because this is fairly matte and I prefer a bit of glow. But I will enjoy using this one up.

This was the closest to a matte bronzer as I've been able to find at my local drugstore, so this was what I was using before I finally caved and shelled out the near-thirty dollars for my HOOLA bronzer. This bronzer is a nice color, decent pay-off/pigmentation, but a little on the chalky side. It didn't break me out and I have fairly sensitive skin. Blends easily, but isn't great for contouring because of the shimmer. Probably won't repurchase since I'm so in love with my Benefit bronzer.

This is a VERY sheer, light bronzer. I'm pretty pale and most bronzers tend to look muddy or orange on me; this doesn't really show up at all. I can put it all over my face, practically using it as a setting powder, and the effect is extremely subtle - in fact, too subtle! The texture is a pretty chalky as well. Would not repurchase.
