It does add a little bit of glowiness to the skin, but as other reviewers have said, if it's oxidized then it's worthless. The jar leaves a lot of cream exposed, and you can see the cream inside turning brown within a few days. There is a strong perfume-y smell to the cream.

I am over 60 years old and have been using this product faithfully for about 5 years. It was recommended by a doctor. I think it's absolutely wonderful. It has cleared up may issues that I've had with my skin and many folks can't believe I am over 60. He did tell me that it would turn color after the jar was opened but it doesn't affect the effeciency of the cream at all. If your skin is sensitive, it may take a few weeks to get used to, but it's worth it.

I wish this wouldn't sting as it doesn't contain the acid form of V-C. But it stung badly. To those who have sensitive skin, I don't want to recommend this.

I had used several bottles of this and the same thing happened -- got the cream with light creamy color, which quickly turned brown within a month. Turns out the vit C is very unstable, but I never got any warning. I even bought some with brown color to start with!
Meanwhile, I saw no improvement in my skin. Totally wrong for them to sell an ineffective product, or one that needs to be used up immediately but without telling the customer!

I hate to leave this product a bad review, because I really want to like it. However, it breaks me out and much worse than that - a few minutes after applying it, if I run my hand across my cheek the cream comes off in waxy threads, as if it is an exfoliation treatment. It has a lot of silicone in it - both dimethicone and cyclomethicone. I think that C Esters are the way to go, instead of l-ascorbic acid, so I really wanted to like this product. The vitamin C in this cream is stable and lipid soluble, instead of water soluble. I have tried the Serum and am much happier with that. I will review it once I have been using it for longer. I gave the cream to my mother however, and haven't heard from her re: what she thinks. I will update this review when I do, as she has 50 year old skin, and might have a better experience with the product.

c-esta cream is a great night cream that's used after the c-esta gel cleanser. It's a pleasant smelling medium weight cream that goes on easily with slight tingling/warming sensation that quickly goes away. You wake up in the morning nice and bright with soft glowing lineless skin!! I wish it were more readily available and had nicer packaging design though.

C-Esta cream is awesome! This is a topical Vitamin C that makes skin tones even and fades sun spots. There is a serum for oilier skins, but I am using the cream at night. It makes pores seem smaller and tightens facial contours. I love this stuff!
