I really wanted to like this shampoo, but it has left my blonde, high-lighted hair dry & my scalp itchy. The smell is fantastic, but it's much too harsh to use everyday. If you have very oily hair, or hair that only has to be washed once or twice/week, this may be better suited to you.

this left my hair feeling slightly tangly and dull. after diligently using a whole bottle, i still think the lavender one suits me better.

as a person who can't use sls/sles, this shampoo is awesome. i use this about every few weeks and the difference is amazing, as using a clarifying shampoo should be. my hair becomes super shiny, and it removes most of my scalp buildup (and i have alot due to sd). i read some of the reviews below and some are describing a tacky feeling. but i thought it was just my hair being squeaky clean. i know squeaky clean isn't usually good for hair, but that's what i want in a clarifying shampoo. i would definitely repurchase when i run out.

I love this shampoo, and I can't believe the negative reviews. This does an awesome job of removing buildup, and it leaves my hair so SOFT. That is a truly rare combination! Anything will leave a buildup on your hair if you use too much of it or don't spend enough time rinsing it out, which is probably why people are saying this is coating their hair. A little goes a long way. You really don't need to use a lot of this, so it will last a very long time. I've been on the same bottle for almost three years!

I bought this because of the wonderful scent, but returned it after one use. It actually felt STICKY in the shower and then made my hair gummy-feeling when it dried. Stay away!!

cheap, smells nice, and the packaging is fine, but this is some of the wost shampoo i have ever used. it leaves a horrible buildup on my scalp (i don't use styling products) and makes my oily hair dry and squeaky. no thanks-i now use this to wash my dog since it is somewhat natural.

I'm not sure why they call this a clarifying shampoo - both the Avalon Mint Thyme (my favorite) and Lavender shampoos left my somewhat oily hair much cleaner. I recommend both of those, but not this.

I really wanted to like this cuz it smelled like lemon iced tea, but it left my hair feeling gummy and coated. Not what I was looking for. I've tried better natural shampoos.

This is a great SLS-free shampoo. The texture and the way it lathers takes a bit of getting used to, but it does give a good lather. It has a sweet lemony scent that fades once hair is dry. It leaves my hair smooth and silky and removes any buildup.

I thought that I would like this poo more, because I LOVE the matching conditioner. However my hair felt tangly after using it, it was fine once I used conditioner, but I didn't like the tangly / sticky feeling my hair had when I rinsed out the shampoo. I did like the scent, and I thought that it lathered well, but overall, I wouldn't buy this again.

This is a very nice clarifying shampoo....cleans without stripping, contains no SLS, has wonderful organic ingredients and is 100% vegan and not tested on animals. I agree with the reviewer below that said this smells like lemon meringue pie...but the smell doesn't really linger. I followed this up with Feria conditioner from Sally's and my hair was soft, shiny and bouncy. Would repurchase.

At first i liked this shampoo, but couldn't figure out why my hair was all tangly and sticky after using it. Then i read the ingredients--shea butter? In a clarifying shampoo? No thanks. I use this for a shower gel now and will not be washing my hair with it again.

the lemon smells wonderful! and the scent doesn't linger after your shower. IT's supposed to be a clarifying shampoo, but I think it causes a slight buildup in my hair.

This is for both shampoo and conditioner because I use both together. My hair does feel soft and look shiny by using these, but they cause build-ups. I've never had scalp problems in my life, until I used the shampoo and the conditioner. I can see so much scalp on my hair. Terrible! Will NEVER buy again.

Excellent shampoo. Love that it is soap-free and contains organic ingredients. The scent is verry lemon-y, so if you don't like the scent of lemons, I don't think this shampoo is for you. It does its job as a clarifying shampoo, cleaning your hair and scalp, without stripping it dry. Already on my second bottle. Will continue to repurchase.

I actually bought this from Big Lots for about $2.00. It's a pretty nice shampoo, does the job, but I really don't like the scent. I don't think I'd buy this again, unless I found the same deal and it was a different fragrance.

Excellent shampoo. Consistently leaves my hair squeaky clean, and my scalp is much healthier now. I was originally thrown off by the lack of lather, but I'm used to it now and I appreciate the scent more these days. I've had it for about 2 months. It's changed the way I think about shampoos.

I like the smell..lack of lather and a weird film on my hair...like the fact that it has no SLS but the way my hair feels isnt worth it.

Retails for $7.99 CDN for an 11 oz. bottle.

This shampoo makes my hair go really oily within a day. It makes my hair feel dirty! It also breaks out my scalp a bit so I think this shampoo may just be too emollient for my hair. Good thing is that the lemon scent smells like yummy lemon pie!
