I had this products before like 4years ago but is not the same coz they changed again the package and also some ingredients are different.I may say this new formula is better ,i like it more.My skin type is sensitive, prone to redness, irritations, dryness, cloggs and i have hormonal cystic accne from long time already. This night cream is really heavy, but not heavy-greasy-oily..is more like a balm.I really like the texture and if i use alot i dont get greasy finish, the skin is still mat,but dissapointed to see this stuff balls up sometimes. The smell is not strong,no problems for me.
Comparing with other night creams i used before this is better becouse is not greasy and is not affecting my accne in anyway.I like to use this after my glycolic or salicilic pads and those two together are really great.
There are two things i dont like about this night cream. The first is,i use alot product for entire face, the texture is thick so i need more then a coin size each time.Second i dont like the price is around 25euro in my local pharmacy.Becouse i need to use so much product at end the 25euro is too much for this night cream. For this price i can get other products..
I am not sure if i will get this another time, maybe i will find something else for a better price or maybe i will do like always..comeback to use really safe skincare products which my sensitive skin likes.
This Eucerin night cream is better then Nivea Q10 night cream becouse i can use it every night, but the Nivea is clogging so i cant use it more then 3times weekly.
My review is for Eucerin european version also i have the Nivea Q10 night cream made in germany.

I am pretty disappointed by this product. I was looking for a night cream, and the very first time I used it, it broke me out. I've decided instead to use it as an eye cream (as some on here have suggested), and as a sort of spot moisturizer to use on top of any spot acne treatment (like 10% benzoyl peroxide). Other than that, I would not put this all over my face. It doesn't seem to be doing much as an eye cream for now, but it's good to use it for something. Also, the butter scent grosses me out.

Little wonder in the jar :) Yep! It is!
Who would have though that this relatively inexpensive moisturizer will make me ditch moisturizers from more expensive brands, such as Clinique, Lancome, Clarins etc. It works like wonder for my sensitive combination skin which is prone to redness. I was loyal to Avene brand, and my skin care routine always contained the Avene products. But when I tried this product, I really saw the difference. While I am still sticking to my Avene products for cleansing & toning, when it comes to moisturizing - Hello!!! Eucerine!!! Yes, I LOVED this moisturizer. I put it on at night right after I cleansed my face & toned it with gentle Avene tonic. This moisturizer has a very pleasant (yummy!) butter (shea butter?) smell, it very soft and pleasant to the touch, not greasy, but very rich, it penetrates the skin very quickly, soaks in very deep, and the skin feels moisturized within the next couple of minutes, it completely took away all the minor redness around my nose & chin from extreme sensitivity, it just worked wonders overnight. I woke up to very soft, tender to touch, lovely skin, no redness, no break-outs, everything is healing underneath this product. I am so happy I read the Makeup Alley reviews & tried this product. I highly recommend it. I have nothing negative to say about this great product. It's awesome, lovely. I still have no wrinkles, so I am not sure if it makes them go away or not, but I am sure it prevents them. I think it is perfect for all ages, 20s, 30s, 40s... It does not matter, it gives the skin rich moisture & calms down & protects the skin from external factors. I was so happy with it - I ran to the drug store & bought Eucerine Q10 Day Creme for Sensitive Skin today!!! I will try it & will write a review about it shortly!!! It is truly a great discovery!!! It cost me only EUR 15!!! Can't believe that it is priced that reasonable for the effect it gives!!! Highly recommendable!!! Go & try it!!!! N-O-W!!!! ^^

This face cream is fan-tastic! can't say enough great things about it. this moisturizer is perfect for my super sensitive skin and what amazes me is that it absolutly does not break me out and i have skin that breaks out from everything. I have used it for about a month now and think it's the best moisturizer i have ever tried. period. I bought it for 11 dollars at walgreens and mine is in a white tub. Here's how i use it. I only moisturize where i need it meaning i don't use it all over my face. I dab it around my eyes (to help prevent wrinkles) and dry areas around my mouth and nose. It makes my skin baby soft and smooth. Recently, I had a bad reaction to some acne face wash that dried my face out to the point of peeling and red flaking skin. I actually bought this cream right after that happend and it healed my face overnight. Give it a try, it could turn out to be your HG cream like it is for me. P.S. It does have a slight buttery smell but you totally get used to it and the smell does not linger on your skin what so ever. I absolutly hate added fragrances and this product is fragrance free. What you smell is it's natural smell.

Love this cream. Didn't really buy it for the anti-wrinkle effects (which I don't think have done anything), but needed something hydrating for my dry skin. Bought it at Walgreens for $11 back in November and today I ran out; 5 months. I haven't used it every day either so it'd probably run out faster if I had.

Anyway, I like the consistency, I like how once I rub it into my skin, it feels refreshed almost. I really only wear this at night. It's a bit more difficult to spread around if I try and mix it with another moisturizer. Good stuff. Will repurchase.

I've been using this cream for the past 10 days and I have only compliments for it. I wasn't picky with moisturizers before, but after 've turned 31, everything changed;) I've tried a lot of them - both very expensive and cheap, but this one is best so far. It absorbs easily and skin is so soft, hydratated and suple afterwards.

This is a very, very rich moisturizing cream with a buttery soft texture. It's so thick that it takes a little more effort to make it sink in completely. Yes, the smell is a bit like butter too, but I like it. I like this cream, although I think it is going to work a lot better for me in the winter time, when my somewhat dry skin becomes very dry. In the meantime, I'm using Eucerin's q10 day lotion with spf. This is a bit hard to find, but I've seen it at Ulta and it's also available on drugstore.com for around $10-11.

This is my HG night-time moisturizer; have been using this for over 5 years. It calms my skin and leaves it smooth, supple, and hydrated. It is a bit heavy for summer, however I still use it but mainly as an eyecream or after AHA treatments. In the drying winter months, I use it both AM and PM. It smells and has a feel of whipped butter, it takes a little time to sink in. It doesn't cause any breakouts or eye irritation as I have super sensitive eyes. I don't know about the wrinkle effects as that's not what I use it for. But, my skin looks awesome, no fine lines or smile lines of any sort. Now, if only Eucerin made something as good only in a lighter lotion form, I would be all set. For now, the search continues.

[UPDATE: I've used this for 6 months and even though I still think it's a good moisturiser, I have to take off a lippy because it isn't doing enough for my dehydrated skin. For those that find this not quite hydrating enough, I recommend avocado oil, my newfound HG moisturiser. ]

Thank you MUA for this recommendation! I've been using this cream for the past 2 weeks and I have only compliments for it, which is rare, considering my track record with moisturisers. My skin was dehydrated and sensitive with pimples and large pores. It's been hard to mediate between these problems about my skin because most moisturizers are either too dry or too greasy, both of which wind up in more pimples for me. However, this Eucerin cream has been a great find for me. I've used it every night and in the morning before I put on makeup. It absorbs easily into my skin, instead of forming a greasy shell over my face. In conjunction with salycilic acid, my skin is looking smoother and more hydrated. A few days ago, I finally received a compliment on my skin for the first time in 3 years! If your dehydrated skin is difficult to please, like mine, I highly recommend this cream. I've had a very low level reaction to using this product: only a few pimples at the top of my forehead. Otherwise, this cream didn't really put my skin through that "purging" period that tends to happen whenever I switch to a new product. While I agree that the jar packaging is not exactly hygenic, I also think that it's more environmentally friendly (mostly because of the glass jar). I think that I've found a cream that I can really stick with for long term.

I'm a BIG fan of the Q10 SPF day cream, so I figured I'd try this. After one week of use (at night) I did feel like it was starting to break me out, so I've moved back to using it only in dry areas a couple of times a week. I've also started using it as an eye cream basically. It's a good cream, but I think a little heavy for me. It does have kind of a buttery scent which is kind of odd, but nothing to make me not buy the product.
UPDATE: I've started using retin a which is making my skin dryer and using this on top of it and it's perfect. For my skin without the retin a it's a bit too much, but when I'm on the dryer side it's lovely.

Best heavy-duty moisturizer ever! The color is indeed wierd and yellow, but it does a wonderful job to prevent winter-y dry skin. After trying name brand expensive creams, I depend on this product! The smell is neither pleasant nor unpleasant, and the portions are generous - you only need a little bit to go a long way, also. I have sensitive skin, and this does wonders overnight. I don't really have any wrinkles yet, so I am not sure about the effectiveness of Q10, but I LOVE this product!!

the recession hit my budget, so my beloved shiseido moisturizer had to be replaced by something more wallet-friendly. the reviews were positive and the price was right, so i gave this cream a try.

although many others mentioned this, nothing prepared me for a moisturizer that looks and smells like butter-flavored crisco. i own other shea butter products, and none of them have this strange scent. the smell of it aside, the cream moisturizes very well, however this is more of an occlusive moisturizer than a humectant. my skin is very, very dry, and this cream doesn't cut it on its own. my search continues....

Not for me, but this review is from my dad. He is 57 years old, and has normal skin, prone to sunspots, and expression lines. He has great skin for the most part, but he's never used sunscreen in his life unless he's out on the beach. He's a soap and body lotion kinda guy, and really doesn't like using anything frilly. The one thing he did take the time to put on his face was fresh aloe vera gel directly from the plant.
Well, a couple of weeks ago, I was browsing through a drugstore, bought the Eucerin cream on a whim. I brought it home, and since we were out of body lotion, my dad decided to use this on his face. He now uses it morning and night. Just last night, I looked at his skin under bright bright white fluorescent lights, and his face was absolutely luminous. Two minor expression lines next to his mouth are GONE! The areas under his eyes which began to sag just a little has plumped up so much! His skin looks and feels like a baby's bottom! Some of his sunspots have slowly began to fade away, but they are not gone completely, but have lightened up noticeably!!
He loves it because it's fragrance free, and he said it just disappears into his skin upon application. The non-oily finish is what he really likes about it!
This is a big deal for someone like father who never used a beauty product in his life! I recommend this for other men out there who don't like frilly products with normal-ish skin! This is a great anti-aging product! 5 stars!!

.
This is for the WHITE jar as the reviews are mixed!!
I had HUGE problem with dry skin around my mouth from when I started Retin-A , around 2 years ago. I try so much on my skin..as I really had hard time with this flaky-peeling awful skin , where I couldn’t apply make up or if I did it was really looking very bad.
I try masks.. Serums…La Mer Crème..EA 8 hours..Nivea. Well I really can spend my day writing as I try quite a lot…Nothing give me the results that this simple cheap cream do. I mean as much as my skin is dry/flaky at the moment I apply it all the dryness disappear. I don’t have anymore bad days. Simply as that. I use it AM under S/S only on dry areas ( around my mouth ) and PM under Retin-A also only on dry areas, nothing more or less. Is quite heavy but ones I apply it’ll absorb very quick.

The other reviewers are right, this looks and feels a lot like butter. Having said that, it is the best moisturizer I've ever used. I have somewhat dry skin -and rosacea. I have tried a lot of other moisturizers that either don't moisturize enough, or they sting and cause my face to flush. Not a good thing when you have rosacea. I don't know if this cream really does much to firm my skin or get rid of wrinkles, but it is a good moisturizer. It goes on a little heavy. You have to give it a little time to sink in. I have noticed that when my rosacea is acting up, and I get pustules on my face, putting this cream on seems to calm everything down. I don't know why it works, but it does. The only complaint I have about it, is that it comes in a jar, and I wonder how sanitary that is. I do recommend this, and am definitely will be buying it again. You know, I made the same mistake as the other reviewer. I thought this was for the white jar. I guess I'll have to try the blue jar too!

I'm continuing to using this product. I love it. I get zero breakouts from it, minimal milia. I share this with my 18 year old daughter. So far HG.

Now this is what a moisturizer should be. I've used it one day and the fine lines around my eyes are plumper. It's rich but not oily. it's a cream, not a gel or serum or lotion. It doesn't leave a film. It has a nice, substantial glass jar which is heavy and feels expensive and professional. I haven't applied make-up over it yet but I can tell it will be nice. I don't notice a scent though I was hoping for a 'butter cream' scent as I've read about . It is pale yellow which is naturally occurring. I like that no coloring or fragrance is added. I will be buying this again. Do they make an eye cream? That's my next hunt. OOps. I didn't notice this is for the night cream. My review is for the white jar!

I am on my 3rd jar of this. This is the only cream I've ever used that hasn't made me break out. I usually have to stick to light weight moisturizers because otherwise my skin flares up. This moisturizes extremely well too, and doesn't make my make-up go on funny either like some moisturizers do. I will keep buying this as long as they keep making it!

I have tried so many face creams over the years for my sensitive, combination, acne-prone skin and this is by far the best. I've used Avene, Aveeno, Olay, Weleda, Cetaphil, Estee Lauder, and La Mer - but they always either caused acne, irritation/redness, or didn't moisturize enough. For years, I’ve had excellent luck with 100% jojoba oil – but as I get older I need a bit more moisture especially in winter. This cream is perfect – it calmed down my red irritated skin and erased small surface wrinkles that were due to long-term dryness. It did not cause any acne, clogged pores, etc. And it smells and feels yummy, like pure butter! I'm really happy with this cream and I would recommend it to anyone except those with extremely oily skin.

Probably this is my 4th Jar. so I will dedicate a bit of my time to write what this has done and not done for my skin.

I love it because keeps my skin moisturized and soft when I have over done it with Tretinoin and my skin feels irritated and nothing else can touch my skin other than this one to feel calm in one second. It's feels confortable so and very safe and has no frills to it. In winter when the skin gets very dry and the barrier gets compromised I can use this any time of the day or night and has never ever let me down even if it's a night cream (which is just as well pure marketing). So I kept buying it again and again. In between I have bought many more and none has lasted more than half tube/jar. ( I can think of Creme de La Mer, Nivea, A-Derma, Thalgo right now and Avene anti redness)

I love it because it has no Fragrance and no silicones with is a miracle nowadays to find one like this ;) and I use it day and night if I need to. I preffer this one than the Q10 Day Cream :)

I use it as an eye cream too to keep that delicate art of my skin moisturized and all over, it's versatile. I don't expect any miracles or erase wrinkles b/c Sunscreen and Tretinoin take care of that. But it's so rich and moisturizing yet is not greassy or sticky but feels luxurious. Honestly if I could put my face inmearsed on a bath full of it I would...and belive me when my skin has been irritated or flaky from retinoids this is just a miracle come true and a relief ;) I love it and I doubt I will ever be with out it.

One thing I do not like: Anti-Wrinkle on the name. No moisturizer can do that on its own ;)
