I also tried Toleriane soothing protective fluide and I do like this one better. I have sensitive skin that is normal and slightly combination. This moisturizer is light and great under makeup, day time and summer use is best. I don't feel that it has any anti aging properties so I will probably search for another moisturizer if I find that becomes more concerning. This does not break me out, clog my pores, or irritate my skin.

I have a hard time finding a moisturizer for my combination/sensitive skin. This seems to take care of my dryness through the T-zone, making it feel silky-soft, and doesn't clog up the rest of my face which has a normal balance. I love the thinness of the fluid, it melts right into the skin.

This is ok, but works and smells like plain cetaphil moisturizer. If you don't have access to Cetaphil or like the form of the new LRP tube, this is fine, but otherwise you are wasting money on a very similar product. The only thing cool about this is the new tube they have rolled out in Europe.

I have oily skin and I've been using the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel for 2+ years. It works ok during the summertime, but this winter I was feeling that it didn't provide the moisture my skin needed, feeling tight and harsh at the middle of the day.
I've tried La Roche-Posay products and I've had good experiences, so while looking for a nice, simple facial moisturizer I bought this. I've only been using it for a week, but it's working great for my skin. It provides the moisture my skin needs, yet it doesn't leave it looking greasy or oily. It's perfect as a winter moisturizer for my combination/oily skin.

I have very sensitive skin that reacts to everything, even other hypoallergenic products. My dermatologist recommended this to me (I use the whole line) and my skin looks and feels great. When I break out or have irritated skin, I put this moisturizer on and my skin is soothed. It also helps with redness. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I think the amount in one bottle is too little. It's a pricey cream and only lasts 1 month if you use 2x daily. However, if you break out or have a lot of product reactions, this is an amazing cream.

Smells terrible- really chemical-ly. I've been using it on and off for a month now. It moisturises well enough but makes my face sting/ go red, but only sometimes. Trying to persist because of the price. Really disappointing because I love La Roche Posay sunscreens but this just wasn't working for me :/

I have struggled with excema on my hands for the past year and used EVERY cream, steroid ointment possible and to no avail. It was becoming so bad that it kept my awake at night. Until i remembered that i had been given some samples from a chemist who was (along with my doctors) running out of ideas for possible creams to try.
This is what the samples were. I tried it for a few days and it was a miracle. I now use 'toleraine riche' on my hands on an hourly basis or when i need it and its insane how much it has cleared up my hands. It has by no means healed them but it makes the symptoms go away and when i do have a flare up it is 10x better than they were before i found this cream.
Only issue is that it is expensive, especially when you HAVE to have a stock of it like me and the bottles are awfully small.
Not many people mention this as an excema cure so i thought i would! YOU MUST TRY IT!!!!

This is a fantastic no frills moisturizer. No fragrance, no fancy ingredients, just a good dose of hydration that won't irritate or sting my sensitive skin. The texture is nice and lightweight and feels quite cool and refreshing upon application - I feel like anyone could use it, except maybe those with severely dry skin. I bought this after an allergic reaction left me with both breakouts and dry spots on my cheeks and it quickly calmed my skin, helping with the dryness without bringing on any more breakouts. Good stuff if you just want something really simple and gentle.

Quite simply a nice, simple moisturizer. No frills, no irritating ingredients, and good water content. I have dry-to-combination sensitive skin, meaning that my cheeks and undereye areas tend to be (chronically) dry, while I have a tendency towards hormonal acne on my chin (a new development, and a very annoying one!). This moisturizer works well for me everywhere. It wears nicely under makeup and has never caused me to break out (I'm on my second tube). I find this product to be a little overpriced considering it's simplicity (no anti-aging benefits, for example), but I'm sticking with it for now as it works well as a summer moisturizer. Recommend!

didn't do anything for my skin. just made it greasier, like all the other toleriane creams/fluids. so disappointed since i really like the foaming cleanser from the same line. so sad :(. but i don't think it made me break out like the facial fluid. but definitely not worth buying. cetaphil and/or cerave are way better.

This is a great moisturizer. No smell, non oily, absorbs well into skin, and I like the thin fluid milky lotion texture, does not feel heavy at all on skin. GREAT for sensitive skin which is prone to redness and acne like mine. Have finished one tube already, looking to get next one asap.

I used this product for a couple of days. It was very moisturizing. It softened the dry spots on my face and my face felt really soft. The reason why i stopped using this is because I felt burning sensation around my eyes. The tissue around the eyes is the most sensitive on the face and for the cream to be making a burning sensation is not a good sign. I loved the way it moisturized and left a nice sheen on my face but because of the burning sensation around my eye, i had to stop using it. Also, the cream has a "chemical" smell to it which is disturbing since it is made for the most sensitive skin. Not to mention the price isnt cheap either. I paid around $30 for a very small amount. My skin is highly sensitive. I would not repurchase.

I use exfoliants regularly and I need soothing, healing moisturizer that will not cause more problems in the long run. This line is silmilar to avene. Very gentle and cost-effective. Many items to address varying levels of stress in your face and body. The cream version is heavier and moisturized well but I don't like to wear it during the day. Not as elegant as the fluid version. I will not be purchasing because I have other moisturizers that work just the same.

I was using jojoba oil before, which was great for my acne prone skin at the beginning bit I then found it also gave me spots. Perhaps it was way too heavy for summer use? This is a wonderful product with very few ingredients and it hasn't broken me out in spots at all, very light and hydrating it feels perfectly natural on my skin and not heavy at all. I love it!!! Very very happy with my purchase I feel like I have finally found my moisturiser!!! This ones for keeps :) hurray!

Good for sensitive skin. I have combo/oily skin and this hydrates very well three seasons of the year. However, I live in a location where the winters get very very cold and in constant heat blasted indoors. I'm noticing in the winter, this doesn't hydrate as good and my flaky areas still aren't soothed. The texture is a bit sticky and takes about three minutes to completely sink into the skin. I like this because it doesn't clog my pores and it has no scent. I think it is a bit too pricey for the amount you get and it doesn't have any anti-aging, SPF or brighening poperites. This is just a very basic moisturizer. This moisturizer comes in a nice tube however you don't get a whole lot of product. For a 1.35oz tube, you'll be looking to spend $22. La Roche Posay is found @ CVS.

My HG moisturizer! Almost anything can make me break out...i find that the less i put on my face, the better. this lotion is so pure and doesn't have a ton of ingredients to clog my pores. I love that is has no scent and it moisturizes my normal/combination skin perfectly in the winter. I find that it is a little heavy for me in the summer on hot and humid days so maybe i will try out the lighter version this summer. I also love the Toleriane foaming cleanser!

I started using this instead of the Toleriane facial fluid for moisturizing during the winter. Same ingredients, heavier moisturizer. Plus, I'm not sure if this one is oil-free as well since it has caused me to have a very few congested pores but no visible breakouts. That is the only downside plus with my oily skin, I only use it at night because it leaves me very shiny and with a film on my skin. Not sure I could put makeup on over it. I also mix it with my retin-A every other night instead of Obagi blender for more moisture. My face has stopped peeling since doing this. For daytime moisture, I still use the LRP Effaclar Matte.

I've been using this for about 2 weeks, and it is just ok. I had been using Dior's Sorbet Creme, which has been discontinued. The La Roche lotion feels light to the touch and has no scent...it seems to sink into skin quickly. However, it felt like I had a slight film on my skin, and by the end of the day, my face felt greasy. Unexpected, since my skin is dry/combination/sensitive. It's also begun to sting around my eyes upon application - usually disappears in a few minutes but strange since it is for sensitive skin. The hunt continues for my HG everyday moisturizer.

I'VE BEEN USING THIS LOTION FOR JUST A COUPLE OF DAYS. I CHOSE IT BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND A LOTION WITHOUT A TON OF INGREDIENTS TO CLOG MY PORES. IT DOESN'T CONTAIN HARSH AND UNSAFE INGREDIENTS LIKE MOST MOISTURIZERS. I HAVE DRY SKIN WITH SOME OIL, PATCHES OF ECZEMA, PRONE TO CLOGGED PORES AND PIMPLES. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT SO FAR. I DO HAVE TO USE A SEPARATE MOISTURIZER FOR UNDER MY EYES SINCE IT ISN'T MOISTURIZING ENOUGH FOR THAT AREA. I AM USING IT WITH THE TOLERIANE DERMO CLEANSER. BOTH WERE PURCHASED AT MY CVS. IF IT WORKS, IT WILL BE WORTH THE MONEY.
