One of my favorite mascaras ever. Brush is thin so is perfect for reaching even the tiniest lashes. You just need 2 coats to achieve long and fuller lashes. If you curl your lashes first, then the final result is to die for :p

This is a review for the original Big Eyes Mascara. This gave me huge doll eye lashes, very dramatic, wonderful . All seemed good, but over a period of weeks, I started to lose lashes when removing the mascara at night. Not exactly a great trade off :-( To make matters worse, the formula clumped and dried after about a month. Now I find out they have ridiculously bumped up their prices...so will be giving this entire brand a miss from now on.

I was thrilled with the hype of this mascara, all beauty blogs were making very positive reviews on this product. I got very disappointed about it. It clumped my lashes and left them extremely hard and sagging. It gives a strange feeling when washing off, as its formula makes a flexible "tube" over every lash.

This is my favorite mascara, I just keep buying it. I have really short and straight lashes and this mascara, paired with an eyelash curler, just gives me perfect results. It really gives a LOT of lenght and is black, very black. I love that doll look like. Oh, and it never smudges!!! For removing it, just push gently the lashes with warm water and it will all come off in pieces, almost like these tube technology mascaras. Really my favorite mascara and absolutely recommended!
Oh, just one thing: I used to love Eyeko as a brand, but their recent changes are a turn off for me. When I first bought this product it was like 5 pounds, now it's 15! I mean, I live in Brazil and imported cosmetics are very expensive here, so 15 pounds is still ok, but since they retailed this at 5, 8 pounds, I know how crazy money this company is making now. What changed so much that makes this prduct worth 3 times morte than before and in such a short period of time?
Again, love the mascara, hate the company.

Just received my mascara and I'm kinda disappointed. The color is amazing, super black. But the effect is not that cool.
Doll lashes =// It doesn't add lenght or volume. Dries really fast, clumps your lashes together. It looks nice, nothing special. I'm not using this for going out at night. Definetly not. I won't repurchase since it's so hard to find, and here in Brasil, it costs ~~just~~ $45.00!!!!!! It used to cost $9.00 then they decided to change the price to Brazil, how nice huh? Thank God I paid wayy cheaper than that.

I hope that Eyeko comes up with a better mascara formulation now that they just launched their new product line. This one was a disaster for my eyes. Made my lashes weaker and thinner. It also felt extremely heavy on my eyelids (one coat only) and kept chipping off from the first minuite of application.

It's funny for me to read the reviews because every product works differently for each person...there are so many girls saying the mascara does things for them that it doesn't do for me, and vice versa.
I have tiny lashes and I haven't found any mascara that made me look like I had any lashes at all (at least not one that gave me a good effect before 15 coats, wich is very exhausting to apply).
With this one, with 2 coats my lids are huge, defined and curved. It's magical, really. Best mascara for me...I have even stopped using any other.
About removing it, you guys are not knowing how to do it right. If you take it off during the shower with hot water, it comes off into tiny pieces, just like Blinc mascara! I usually just smudge it a little bit with hot water on the shower and the little pieces starts to come off. When I leave the shower, I have black residue on my eyelids and underneath my eyes, but there's nothing in my lids. I apply any soft make-up remover on my lids, and that's it. Super easy to come off.
I admit it's a bit harsh to remove it only with make-up remover, so remember, remove it with WARM WATER!!
it works perfectly girls!!
BEST MASCARA EVER!!

Cute packaging.
Cheap
Didn't know such small & short bristles can do wonders.
Creates really big lash, gives that false lash effect
I love it
To remove it I use Loreal Dermo-Experts Absolute eye & Lip make-up remover, the one with the two part liquid. It effectively removes the mascara with ease.
Will I buy it again? YES, I am on my 2nd tube.

I like the tube because you can squeeze out the mascara from the bottom and it gives you spider lashes ONLY if you're applying 3+ coats I say 2 coats max by wiggling the wand and you're lashes will look gorgeous - I'd buy this product again but it's $30 at my nearest retailer (RIP OFF!) online they started charging shipping!!!! booo

I have read so many positive reviews on this mascara, so when I spotted it on sale, I jumped at the chance.
HATE HATE HATE the brush!!!
I personally don't really like the packaging, some may find it cute but I think it's a bit kitsch - in a bad way. That aside, like I said, I HATE the brush - it's basically a piece of firm wire with bristles stuck around it in a spiral - and clumps like CRAZY. Picks up wayyyyy too much product as well, the little valve-y bit that's built-in to scrape off excess product of the wand is pointless.
I apply it with a clean old brush from one of my used-up mascaras, and am pleasantly surprised to find the formula is not too shabby! Amazing definition, doesn't clump (with the right brush of course), and lasts and lasts. However this takes quite a while to dry, so I have to be careful.
I don't like wasting makeup so I will continue using it till it dries out, but would definitely not buy this again, not until Eyeko changes the useless brush

Short, fine, nonexistent Asian lashes here. This stuff works in that it actually makes it look like I have lashes! Woo hoo! Success! Even looks like I'm wearing falsies! Oh and it's black. VERY black. Soft and natural are not words to describe this mascara. The wand is something to get used to. First time I used it, I was combing crazy clumps out. It's a small brush with large spaces between the bristles where it seems an excess of mascara collects. I've found that if you just use that trick of wiggling the brush from root to tip it clumps far less.
Dries quickly and does not smudge...ever. Even when you try to take it off. I did know before I bought this that it would be tough to remove. I use a cleansing oil and very gently massage the mascara off. Still it takes two rounds of wash and rinse before it's totally gone. I can't decide if I'm annoyed by its difficulty to remove or if I'm happy that I won't ever suffer from raccoon eyes. I think more the latter right now.

I love this stuff! The packaging helps get the most out of it. The actual product is amazing! I have short lashes and it made them look gorgeous! The brush is mediocre... a little clumpy but it's not terrible.

Such a pity, I really had high hopes for this mascara and would adore it if one big issue was fixed :/
I'll keep this review short
Pros
- Cheap!
- Cute packaging (like all eyeko products)
- Nice small size
- wand has a funk shape that really thickens up your lashes! Few swipes and they are very dolly looking, love it
Cons
- FLAKES. DEAR GOD IT FLAKES SO BAD
The flake issue alone is enough to make me avoid this until they can fix the formula. I have the other mascara by eyeko "Magic Mascara" that does not have this issue at all, I hope they fix it because it would be my fave fun mascara to use when I want that extra uber plump vs my daily Dior tube. I get little black flakes on my face during the day, and at night its such a pain like others have said... like removing glitter or something, it just never goes away.

GOOD POINTS:
1) the packaging- so pretty
2) added with vitamin b to promote lash growth
3) the little freebies - face off cleansing wipe, little sticker with the eyeko gal on and a promotion card
BAD POINTS:
1)the wand- tends to clump eyelashes together - spider lashes..not a good look!!
2) it is a pain to get off!!
3) the smell - not horrendous but certainly not pleasant!

Buying this had tickled me for months, but now that I got it (as a gift from ze boyfriend), I must say I'm somehow disappointed. The packaging is cute but doesn't seem so practical to me - I'm afraid it will squish up and leak if I keep it in my purse or something. The brush is quite something to get used to, but I like how it covers your lashes from one corner to the other.
The downside ? It's a serious pain to remove. Whenever I try a sample make up remover or anything, this is my fire test. It's like LATEX on your eyes ! The one that's worked best for me is Mary Kay's Oil Free Makeup Remover, and even so I have to really rub it to take it away.
Wouldn't buy it again, and will definitely tell ze boyfriend to never gift it to me again - he knows how many lashes I lost during the first removal !

This is the best mascara I have ever bought, it's amazing. You would never think a tiny little brush like that could do so much, love it! It really does make a huge difference to your lashes.
Only downfall is it is a pain in the bum to remove (although it is good cause it stays on all day) even my make up remover has problems. Also when you wash your face it comes off really bitty and gets everywhere, which is annoying to get rid off.

I REALLY want to LOVE this mascara since I heard so many good reviews about it but perhaps I got a bad one. The formula wasn't wet as I expected it to be; therefore, it caused some clumping. Other than that, it works okay. It does keep my lashes curled and I like the brush. I don't want to buy this again but I feel like maybe I should try it one more time before dismissing it altogether. We'll see. ::Shrugs::

Super cheap to buy from the website. That's the biggest tip.
Local stores (In North America) MAY overcharge.
Like my local "Beauty Junkie" store, it hikes up the price to like $25+ when I can get this $8 online.
I don't really like it.
The brush is tiny, and good for bottom lashes, and getting right into the root of your lashes.
However, it was clump-city on my lashes.
It made them stick together, it didn't seperate at all.. If anything, the brush reminds me of "great lash mascara" brush.
I don't love this mascara, but it washes off easily with water and/or makeup remover. That's always a bonus.
And the packaging's adorable.
But there aren't many pros for what I'm looking in a mascara, in this mascara, so no rebuying for me!

Well I used this for ages and then decided that since it was soo hard to wash off that I was done with it. I hated how my eyelashes all fell out when I was trying to get it off. But I have to say after tryin YSL(do not get the hype with this???),dior,l'oreal and numerous others I could not find anything that gave such exceptional length. People always ask me if I am wearing falsies.I dont understand how more people don't rave about this!!it's beautys best kept secret! I've also found if you can't get it off then you should apply a small layer of nivea creme and wipe and it comes off easily!I also noticed that it has been on sale for £1 in superdrug recently on c;earance. Is it being discontinued does anyone know??
