I really like this gloss, but I can't help but notice that it's quite similar to Almay Whipped Gloss in Wine Glass; both are beautiful, warm reds with subtle shimmer. (The shimmer in Clarins is gold while Almay has dark red.)
What I love most about both glosses is that they provide very good colour--not opaque, but not the typical sheer wash provided by many glosses. I can see the previous reviewer's complaint that it is drying--and it settles into the lines in my lips. (I have very dry lips, though, so it may not be an issue for many consumers.) Almay fades better; Clarins leaves a red ring around my lips. The more I use this, the dryer it gets.

One of the worst high end glosses it has ever been my displeasure to try. I had to return it back to Barney's because it felt so dry on my lips out of the bottle that it was hard to spread it on. I was told by the SA that it was suppose to be more like a "liquid lipstick" but if it's packaged like a wand gloss, then I expect a gloss!

Wow! This is one awesome lip gloss. Great quality (it doesn't settle into my lip lines), long lasting andy stunningly beautiful warm red color with barely noticable gold shimmer. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful, shimmery ruby colored lipgloss. Long-wearing as well. Beautiful packaging (which is usual with Clarins products). I also have the gloss in shade #02, Pearl, which is a shimmery pearl colored gloss. Very nice as well.

Love this color, a medium red wth gold shimmer, but not overwhelming. Good quantity for the price. A little goes a long way.

Go Clarins! I am a red lipstick personality but I admit it is too heavy for spring-summer. This is the compromise! Coverage can be adjusted from sheer to opaque and the sexy shimmer is not gritty plus it adds a sexy sheen and fullness to lips. My dry lips are moisturized as well and this lasts! Love the brush applicator and the fact that it is cheaper than Glossimers with a much more elegant packaging.

This is a truly beautiful red. It's a slightly warm rich red, infused with subtle golden sparkles. The texture is rich also, so it applies almost as a liquid lipstick rather than a sheer gloss. Because of the thick texture, it stays better on my lips than any other gloss, with the exception of Chanel Glossimer. In fact, this is quickly becoming a rival to my loyalty to Glossimers!
