I discovered this gloss back in 2000, at the time there were no Sephoria or ULTA in my state, I would wait and buy it on out of state trips (plus I was a student w/ no credit card yet so could not buy online), it is head and shoulders above any other red gloss out there. After I ran out (back in 2000). I spent years and money looking for a gloss that could rival it, but I found none. Usually red glosses are either overpowering (clown lips that you have to blot out), or it will give you a look of barely in red to it, basically a clear gloss w/ a hint of color.
Stila strawberry is the only red gloss I'll buy.

Very pretty sheer red! Just enough color to make a statement and not go overboard. I like the click pens, personally, but to each his own.

Mmm this smells like strawberry candies. I do like the sheer red color. However, I absolutely HATE the crappy clicky pen applicator. The product seems so tiny compared to another brands of the same value. Think Stila is making us pay for the applicator instead of the gloss product =*/. Also, the texture is quite sticky, and the staying power is alright. Maybe one day Stila will get rid of the pen applicator...

This is the most gorgeous red colour. Now im in highschool, so i dont want to wear too bright of red lips. (although i looooove red lips) Something about this lipgloss looks fresh and young. Mine only smelt like strawberry when i first got it. It smelt like strawberry candies, but now it doesnt smell like anything at all! Ive only had it for a couple months. I do find this lipgloss pretty sticky.

Oh, I love this colour - gorgeous deep reddish-pink. It's bright, but not opaque enough to lose the glossiness. I don't really wear red glosses, and this is just different enough from being a glaring red that it's doable for me (NC30).
Lipglazes sometimes numb my lips, but luckily, this isn't one of them... at least not to a noticeable degree. Though, I definitely feel it on my lips.
I just love it!

OMG, I love the color of this lip gloss. Its such a great red. It is sticky and the color doesnt last long, but i love the pretty red. Its not a in-your-face red so its not crazy.

Stila Lip Glaze is the perfect consistency for lip gloss. I absolutely love it! It gives good, sheer color...though not too sheer. I love the tube it comes in, I've found that 4 clicks dispenses the perfect amount. The only drawback is the high price tag. It's such a convenient package and beautiful color, but it's about $20 and it seems to run out fast.

Mmm-kay, what were the product research and development people at Stila THINKING when they came up with this sub-standard product?. I remember buying a very similar lip-gloss by Elizabeth Arden (different packaging) back in 1992. That's like a lifetime ago in beauty industry terms. Hello?. Stila!!!. Tastes like fake plastic strawberries. Color looks blue-red in the tube, but goes on a lot clearer - thankfully.
Other major aggravation is this clicky pen arrangement which looks like it'd belong better in my toddler's Crayola kit. I mean, really?. It took me 25 clicks to start the product off the first time that I used it. Pen tip filled unevenly and gloopily. Then, the final insult was that the cap leaked. Just childish.
Avoid the hyperbole. Add the butter and jam-this product is toast. This is like other similarly-hyped and poor performers. Not worth the money, nor the marketing. Try Maybelline. Heck, even try Bonne Bell. Anything has to be better than this. I'll use it, but I won't be sad to lose it!.

I really like this gloss, although I find that lately I have way too many red lip glosses. It's a clear pretty red that flatters a lot of skin tones. I'm a NC50 DDD and pretty much all of my friends who range from PPP's to GGG's have borrowed it and loved it. Everyone wants it but no one wants to pay for it because these glosses are way overpriced IMO.
The other beef I have with this is the applicator. I hate the whole click and load idea. I ranted about it in my review of the starfruit lip glaze, so I won't go on here. But I wish that they would refine that mechanism a little bit as it really gets to me.

This is the only Lip Glaze I have, and I don't find it very impressive. I bought this before they doubled the size and lowered the price, making it pretty ridiculously expensive for a cheap-smelling, sticky gloss. The color is pretty enough, but it doesn't make up for the complaints. Maybe I'll try some of the newer shades eventually, but I think Glazes are still one of Stila's most gimmicky products.

I have to say I absolutely love this lip gloss. I've been on a mission for the perfect gloss lately, having bought lip glass (MAC), lip plastic (Christian Dior) and a number of drugstore things. I just couldn't find a gloss that had incredible shine and color without being a sticky gooey mess or looking incredibly fake or disappearing within minutes. Strawberry Lip Glaze is my HG gloss. It stays put, looks great, and has beautiful shine and texture.

I so love the idea of this... I just desperately wanted it to be a little more pigmented and long-lasting. It looks beautiful (sheer true red, not too much blue or orange, not fuschia) upon application, and feels silky-wet rather than sticky. However, its basically gone in twenty minutes and there isn't as much in that little click pen as you think there is! Still, I do love it at first... *sigh*

I wasn't able to test this at Sephora when I first noticed it, because the tester was empty, and there was no SA available to get a new one for me. Just by looking at it and reading the reviews here, though, I was certain I'd like it. It is my first Stila Lip Glaze.
I have no problem with the packaging. I like the controlled application that the brush affords. I have had no leakage problems, either. I am not crazy about the stickiness of the product though (it is not as sticky, of course, as MAC lipglass, but somehow I like it less, perhaps because it has less staying power). Unfortunately the real reason that I am not crazy about this gloss is the way that it wears off. It leaves a kind of weird tint on my lips, not quite the telltale magenta, but almost. It just doesn't look quite "right" when it wears off.
So, all in all, this gloss wears off with an odd, unnatural color and doesn't have much staying power. I don't find the strawberry scent overwhelming; it is barely there to me. The initial color is pretty, but this is just too sticky and shortlived to be a repurchase to me.

One of my favorite lip glazes and my favorite red lip gloss by far. This doesn't turn fuschia or garish on me. It's just a nice sheer red and I wear it year round, during the day and at night. I like the scent too, which is rare for me with strawberry scented products. I will definitely buy this one again and again and again.

A definate re-purchase.
I have almost all these glazes and this is the best for me!

This is one of my favorite lip glazes--a bright strawberry pink that would seem like a bit too much against my pale complexion, but manages to just brighten it up immensely. I love pairing this with NARS Cactus Flower for a juicy summer glow.

This lipglaze has become a new staple for me. I love the texture and staying power of Stila Lipglazes. Strawberry is a very wearable, sheer neutral red. I'm a cool-toned PPP and the color really works for me. I have yet to find a red lipstick that isn't overpowering or just wrong, so this sheer gloss is a great way for me to do a red lip. I have only ever finished maybe half a dozen lip products and this is one of them - I have repurchased and will continue to do so. Love it!
