Okay this lotion stinks. I mean, it really smells bad! And the scent lingers too. My husband even commented on how badly it smells. I gave this product a 3 rating though because it really does smooth my skin and help get rid of the kp on my arms.

Ugh, I can't stand the smell of this stuff and it makes my skin feel clammy. It might be okay for the hands, but I can't stand it on my face.

This is a great moisturizer! It is rather light, absorbs quickly and leaves skin soft. I have a problem with moisturizers not absorbing well, leaving my skin feeling greasy, but St.Ives Renewal Cream sinks in nicely. I'm not too fond of the scent, but it doesn't bother me. You get quite a bit for the price. Whenever my skin is being picky, I reach for this moisturizer. It's definitely worth a try!

This product is okay. It made my face really soft but when i woke up my face was incredibly oily. I had to get rid of it maybe the lotion one is better for oily skin........

Nice moisturizer in general. Gives your skin a really healthy glow and absorbs really well. It is really reasonably priced as well. The unfortunate thing is that it clogs the pores on my forehead. Too bad because other than that it is perfect.

I agree with the positive reviews about this renewal lotion. I, too baught it at Shoppers for $1.99 b/c I needed a moisturizer really badly for my hands. I tried it and WOW!-The results were amazing! The winters here are pretty harsh, so my hands were parched, along with my elbows and knee caps, although I have been using exfoliating scrubs and moisturizers. In a week all the dead skin disappeared completely! My hands are sooo soft and smooth now, I will buy more of this. As for a facial moisturizer, it is a little too thick for my face. However, I had a dry patch on my neck which would not go away, but it did with just a little dab of this cream. I used it on one part of my cheek which also had a dry patch and it smoothed it out wonderfully. Another amazing thing that this cream did is even out the skin tone around the thighs and reduced some stretch marks. Love this product! UPDATE: Just tried this on my face as a nighttime moisturizer b/c my proactive clarifying cream ran out. I used it for 2 nights thus far and while it did feel a bit tacky(texture-wise), it made my skin so soft and did not clog my pores. i loved the glow it gave! However, as a daytime moisturizer, it would be a little too thick for my oily skin plus the use of sunscreen would make my face feel a bit to oily. Can't believe it works so well and is so cheap!! It's really got a list of ingredients like salicylic acid, lactic acid, chomomille extract, aloe vera, squalene, to name a few.

A-MA-ZING!
i bought it completely by accident. If you think I'm stupid... well, I actually thought it was a cleanser. It was on sale for 1.99CAD at shoppers drug mart, and I was running out of my cleanser, so I figured I have nothing to lose.

As it turned out it was a moisturizer. I was goig to return it but figured I'd try it first since I have issues with finding a decent moisturizer. WOW. I'm a pretty pale person so I usually look dead. In 2 days my skin became smoother and obtained a glow. At first it was stingy, but now its completely fine. my acne is clearing up too.

Definite find of the century.

Found this in Canada after it had been pulled in the US for some weird reason. LOVE the smell of it and the stuff is a huge tube, you can apply it everywhere. Since I've become a product junkie, I am reluctant to use it on my face daily, but I use it on my neck every morning and night and it has smoothed out the skin beautifully!! Another tip: can be used as a wonderful hand cream, making the skin soft and without lines. Very low price makes it an all-purpose moisturizer for me, including for the dry patches on my arms.

I had a bottle still hanging around from over a year ago...and I decided to use it on my ugly hands. No joke...my knuckles look like a 60+ year old, except without all the veins popping out.....oh god the thought. But yeah, I was surprised about the dramatic results just from applying it once and leaving it on overnight. Its too good to be true. I really didn't like applying this to my face though....the substance is to yucky and thick...greasy. Blah! And does not smell that great. But for body (hands, feet, elbows, knee caps) for an overnight application....AWESOME!! Dirt cheap...good packaging...buy it!!

i really wanted to like it as it has the AHA and the price's very cheap, but somehow it irritated my skin! My skin felt like "burning" and became very reddish right after the first application! I had to immediately wash it away. But please note that my skin's not the sensitive type, and i'm ok with the neostrate AHA 8% cream.

i love this moisturizer. unfortunately i can no longer find it. :( it has been my staple for several years... goes on nicely. helps keep my zits and oilies under control while giving a nice boost of moisturizer. i can't comment one way or another on the scent because to me it's nothing special, but not offensive. i love the product for how it works, though.

One of my HG face moisturizer. I have a combination skin very sensitive and prone to acne.
Does contain AHA and BHA that thelp exfoliates my skin. With this the dry patches and zits disapear. It helps my skin a lot.
It's very moisturizing either.
I remember at the beginning this was too strong for my skin, I only could use it once a while, then once every other day, then once a day, etc...now I can use it twice a day if I want. If your skin isn't used to AHA and BHA take your time.
The smell is strange but I don't care when I see the results.

I should mention this product is now "Renewal Lotion" and comes in a pump bottle. I used this for several weeks and thought it was excellent, my face felt so smooooth and I didn't break out at all. The reason I no longer use it is cuz I have heard the damage AHAs can do to your skin in the sun. But I am thinking of purchasing it again for nighttime use. My face looked amazing, with a healthy glow and all.

this product is simply awesome! i'm very picky with moisturizers because i have fairly oily skin which is also prone to breakout. this moisturizer has been keeping my skin soft, matte, hydrated, and free from any breakouts for a month now! it's mighty cheap and super easy and hygenic to use too. it comes in a tube so you don't have to worry about germs getting in. i will definitely buy this moisturizer again (although it'll take a while to use up the whole thing! it's pretty big), and probably try other st.ives skin care products too. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!! :)

I can't imagine where these positive reviews are coming from. This stuff is awful. It does not smell like fruit, it smells like cheap perfume. The smell is so strong that other people can smell it. The percentage of BHAs in this is is miniscule; look at the ingredient list.

The stuff also broke me out severely within a day of using it. I gave it a second and third chance, and it again broke me out all over my forehead. I don't generally breakout from products either, so this was a bit of a shock to me.

This is my holy grail of facial moisturisers. It smells great, like fruit and apples. The texture is not too light or too heavy. It absorbs well. It's cheap. After using it for two weeks, my skin is much softer and those dry patches around my cheeks and nose have gone. You only need a very small amount on the edge of your index finger for your whole face. This is not for oily skin types, though. I used it on a patch of oily skin near my eyebrows and I broke out right away. The squeeze tube isn't the best -- I always find a little leaked out on the cap.

This is a wonderful facial moisturizer! Smells heavenly of apples, blends easily, is non greasy, and a little goes a LONG way. I use less than a pea sized amount for my whole face, twice a day. That tube will last me forever! My complexion looks nice and is baby soft.

This the best facial moisturizer! It's very inexpensive and works great. I love the feel of it on my skin and has made my complexion a lot clearer, this is the only moisturize i've used that actually does this! My BF uses it too and works just as well. It has a nice fresh smell. The only facial moisturzier I use!
Just remember with this stuff, a little goes a long way! Which is awesome for our wallet!

It lightly removes dead skin cells and makes my skin look radiant, smooth and feel moisturized. I also like that it is not tested on animals.
