I SWEAR by this bronzer (the one for men). I like their pressed bronzer in sunkissed, but this bronzer, when mixed with a moisturizer, goes on wonderfully and gives me a great color. It doesn't clog my pores, and is easy to correct should I accidentally get a heavy hand. However, because it is easy to correct, try to avoid sweating or wiping your face as it may come off. It's a little stubborn to get off hands, but wash immediately after application and it is of no consequence. I also like to mix this with body lotion as well if I'm going out to the beach (but not getting in the water) and want a quick tan that looks natural. The color looks sort of like iodine coming out which can be alarming, but it does not reflect the color that will come out on the skin (unless you don't spread it out, obviously).
I constantly repurchase this product (I think I'm on my fourth or fifth tube), and definitely recommend this to people with warm tones in their complexion. I have a friend who is paler than the moon who tried to use this and it did not work for her.

This is great, gives me a nice glow and allows me to contour my face well!
It comes in a big tube and you don't need much! Worth the money!

I can't believe all the good reviews on this product. It made me look burnt! There were way too many red pigments in it. I have light medium skin with some redness and it made me look like I got sunburnt. I was so let down by this product.

Marvellous stuff! Since using Retin A and a high PPD sunscreen I've become paler and self-tanning doesn't work for me whilst on retinoids. This bronzer is the most natural and easy to apply solution that I've found. I like to apply it on top on SS or TM rather than mix it in. A tiny dab blended into cheeks and temples transforms my face if it's looking a little pasty.
I tried powder bronzers including Benefit Hoola and Estee Lauder but for me this works far better.
It's going to last forever but yes I'll buy it again one day.

I love this product. The shade looks scary right out of the tube but manages to look completely believable on my fair skin that doesn't tan well naturally (not that I would anyway). I start on top of my cheeks and blend down and toward my temples. add some more there and a tiny bit across the forehead and bridge of nose. It looks so natural and alive even when I've spent entire days seeing no natural light due to my office job.
It is really hard to wash off my hands, but I'll let that go for all the amazing things it does for my complexion when I'm feeling blah. The tube will likely dry up before I use it all. It really is sweat resistant and goes on nicely over any spf moisturizer or sunscreen I may be wearing during the day. I've even used it on my body and it doesn't rub off. A dab will do ya indeed. I hope Clinique never stops making this product when I need to repurchase in a few years.

My review is also for the Men's version. In my opinion, this is by far the better product than the women's version of bronzing gel. First, you get 2 oz for $14.00 vs. the women's which is 1.4 oz for $18.50. Wha? Apparently women just like paying more for less product. Thanks Clinique for accomodating this strange feminine quirk of ours. Plus, albeit rather masculine and drab, I much prefer the packaging of the men's version with it's flip top cap. Who wants to be messing with a silly twist on cap when you have potentially staining gel on your fingertips and are worried about product oozing out of the tube? And finally, best of all, the men's version is sparkle free! So it really looks like a natural tan and not bronze sparkling gunk on your face.
I mix this with a blob of moisturizer or sunscreen and rub it in all over my face. It gives me a hint of a tan tint that is truly believable. This is my go-to summer face product because I just loathe the way foundation looks and feels on the hot, sticky, casual days of summer. Even TM is too much and too heavy. This just evens out my skintone and gives me a sunkissed glow. I can then layer a powder bronzer on top for more impact. Travel friendly, inexpensive, works great, looks real. I keep coming back to this one.

this stuff is GREAT. i used stila sun gel over the summer and really liked it, but didn't want to pay the steep price when i ran out. i poked around makeupalley and found good reviews for this bronzer. it's for men, so i figured it would be pretty natural. it has the right mix of brown and red tones so it looks like a realistic tan. application is key though. if i just spread this around with my fingers, it looks blotchy. i use a foundation brush and blend, blend, blend on very well-moisturized skin. stays on all day and is half the price of sitla sun gel. a great buy, i would look into this if you are thinking about gel bornzer. i am an nc37 fo reference.
EDIT: after reading the reviews below me, i wanted to add that i put this on AFTER foundation, so that i have very little red in my face. if you find this bronzer makes you ruddy, i would put some concealer or foundation on first. it does the trick for me.

I pretty much loved this bronzer. I've seen a lot of rave reviews about this, and so I decided to give it a try. It comes in a shiny black tube that squeezes out. When you squeeze the gel out, it looks like a deep coffee brown, but in reality, when you smear it onto your face, it's not THAT dark, just enough to help you look like you have a tan. (I'm NC42, for reference) On the first few days of me wearing it, one of my closest friends asked me, "Did you go get a tan?" I guess that speaks for itself. :-) But be forewarned, it stains fingers like crazy!

After testing this product on my hand and wrist it looked like a nice bronze color. Unfortunatly it made my skin look more sunburned than bronzed and it accentuated my acne scars. I bet this would work well on someone that has skin that had no redness or rosy tones.

This is the great product. I've been using it everyday for years. It gives me a naturally healthy look that nobody ever thinks it's fake. It does not irritate skin and washes off very easily. My confidence is gone if I leave home without wearing it. The problem is that I live in Asia and it's very hard to find this product in some countries. Hope that the manufacturer will make it available all year round anywhere in the world.

Only gave 4 lippies because this should be made into a tanner & not just a wash off color because it is the best NO raange tannig color & I've tried tons of themAnd very surprising-I've had this item a long time & there's not a hint of green in it!! I love Ser skin care products but their self tanning bronzer was already turning green before I even opened it! hat was about 4 yrs ago-hope thy imprved with enough complaints, Same thing happend with that famous tv shopping brand (Tony's?or Tammees? -my god0still sealed & it was the brightest green I'd ever seen! Awful.
But back to Clinique's-it the very best-non tanning bronzer color-just beautiful!

I tried out this product yesterday and it created an enormous rash on my face. As the end of the day drew near, my face turned so red everyone asked me if there was something wrong with my skin. I applied moisturizer first and then used this product -the color came out very uneven. I think I will stick to my Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess.

OK- I stumbled upon this Wonderful Bronzer at my SO Apt- I was over there last weekend, & needed a 'Quick fix' for my face-I forgot to bring my ST w/ me..so, as I peeked thru his bathroom cabinet, I found this Gem! I used my Moisurizer then Used a tiny dab of this, AND to my amazment it worked fantasically! Dried in less than a minute(blend quickly!) & left a Lovely, Natural 'Golden Brown tan' on my Face-NO ORANGE!
--I loved it so much he let me take it home, as there is a 1/4 of bottle left, & I've been using it all week on my Face- No Breakouts. irritations- I compared the ingreditents to BonneBell gel bronze & they appear to be 'Identical';BUT that one leaves you orange-red- Also, it is Not really more expensive, as Clinque tube is 2oz. & BB is 1 oz, so it's 13.00 Vs.4.30 & for a few extra bucks This is WAY, way Better! I love it!

This is an absolutely great bronzer. I gave up on self-tanners after, one day, I ended up with orange stripes. Since then I have tried (spend my money) a long list of products (lotions, powders, even tried the Eclat de Teint By Terry in caramel for 67 euros) and I can honestly tell you that this is by far the best product for a healthy tan, no makeup look. First, the color is fabulous and very believable. Secondly, it is a stain so it, doesn't come off and has incredible staying power (no need to worry about constant touch ups, staining clothes). It is incredibly light on the skin so you can use it by itself or under other makeup products. Third, and this is a little secret, you can lightly stain your lips over a lip balm.
Only remark is that you have to work fast, just before your day cream is completely absorbed because it dries very fast. Give it a try, il is sold under Cliniques Skin supplies for men.
EDIT: I took 1 grade down. Maybe I was over excited at first. The problem is that this bronzer looks better on the skin if you are a little tanned. The lighter the skin underneath, the worse it looks. Which of course is a rather serious problem for a bronzer. Still major advantage of this formula is that it is truly non streak. One last thing is that it has a reddish color so if you undergo treatments (retin-A, tazorac etc) and your skin is easily irritated you better skip it.

I have very acne prone skin and this bronzer has never given me a problem. Its instant and the color is very natural. I use this bronzer to give my sallow skin some life, and I find that bronze on my cheeks helps detract from my dark under-eye circles.

This gel bronzer is a nice, relatively inexpensive little secret. It's sold for men, but it works great for everyone. I mix it with a little aloe to tone down the intensity a little bit (and to make the application more even). This is just like Bonne Belle liquid bronzer, except it won't turn you orange, ewww.

LOVE this stuff, it's currently sold through the Clinique Men's line for $12.50 for 2oz. I'm such a cheater when it comes to tanning, and love this since it washes off - I'm an idiot when it comes to application. Color is GREAT, leaves skin golden tan, not orange. I don't think it's possible to end up orange using this product because it appears there is just no orange. Also, the color is instant - once it dries, you can get dressed and head out, none of this hang out for 4 hours waiting for the tan to set (it's not a self-tanner). I would not wear white with this though. My advice would be to exfoliate rigorously before application.

I have used this for a long time and always loved it. This is very basic gel bronzer (like old school gel blusher). It is not a self-tanner. It's hard to apply directly to a bare face, but it mixes perfectly into any moisturizer. Applied this way, it always looks super natural(never streaky or orangy), never smudges. By mixing into your cream, you can easily adjust the darkness. It has never caused me to break out or get oily. I pretty much dislike every other clinque product, but I stick with this one. I have a medium to pale complexion, but I imagine this bronzer would work on many complexions.

This came with the 'everything you need for your big night out' set. It is a great gel bronzer and included tips on mixing it with lotion and using allover your body. Quick way to a healthy, sun tanned appearance. Helps even out a tan. Apply by rubbing between fingertips, then smoothing over face evenly. Remove with soap and water. My results have been great! I use it everyday on my face, it gives a very natural look, gives nice color. I have had this for over a year, with plenty left. A great item.
