I adore Tone-Tone lacquer. I'm fairly pale, so this shade doesn't look like concealer on me. If they sold this shade in a lipstick, I'd definitely purchase it. Its only drawback is that it's a lacquer. I don't like the goopy, sticky feeling of MAC's lip glosses. This shade is great for mixing with other shades too, some days you need a little more punch than a faintly shimmery taupe. :)

i like the texture of these, although mine doesn't smell. if the color works on people, good for them but i do not think ANYONE can wear this alone. like someone else said, it looks like concealer smudged on my lips. the quality is good, but mine has no smell(i received it in a trade...so maybe it was old?) which is one thing i really like about the lipglass. you could definitely wear this under something, but there is no way in the world i would wear this alone without looking like a dead person. It is very opaque and not good for a nude lip like I had imagined it would be.

I really love this color- an irridescent holographic. On my lips, it looked like a light nudish pink with shimmer. So beautiful on. However, an hour after I applied this, it caked up and on the outer rims of my lips a white cast formed!!! Very weird! Too bad, since the color was great.

I have to agree with vegigoddess on this one, the color is awfuul. I was shopping at MAC at heathrow airport and bought quite a few things, so I didnt notice when the SA put this in by mistake instead of another lacquer. I only realized when I got home, and decided to try on what I had bought. I thought it looked quite draining, but someone told me they couldnt really notice it on, and to them it just looked like a nude on my lips. It wasnt until later on when someone else commented that I looked unwell, pale and quite drained. A few hours later, after Tone Tone had worn off, she told me I looked my much better normal self again..I went home and chucked it that evening, I think we all can understand why!

Haven't a clue how anyone could like this! I only purchased it cause of the positive review even though I was hesitant about it. Unfortunately my instincs were right and the review were wrong by far! I have very fair skin so I know that's part of the reason it's dreadful, but I can't imagin this looking good on any skin tone! How it looks in the tube is exactly how it looks on the lips and that ain't a good thing! It's a putrid poohey greyish brown and because it's a Lacquer it's super mat and milky and just looks like like crap! It's as horrible as my description makes it sound. It's not fleshtone like others have said for if this is the color of anyone's flesh GOD HELP THEM! cause they must be sickly and on the verge of death.

This lip gloss has been my staple for quite a while now! I LOVE this color! It is a pretty taupe/nude color, with not too much grey in it to wash out my color. It is similar to MAC lipglass in Chai. Lately I have been wearing it without a lip liner, i

When I purchased this color sometime last month, and tried it with a lipliner, I thought it looked awful on me. I was hoping it would be a nude shade on me and it just looked like I had smeared concealer on my lips. I was all prepared to take it right back to the MAC counter I got it from. But THEN, one morning while I was getting dressed for work, I decided to give this another try. I applied lipliner first, dabbed on a small amount of clear lipglass (which is pretty much my procedure for a lot of the lacquers since they are somewhat drying), and applied a thin layer of tone-tone over. I blended the lacquer with the lipliner and I was really surprised with the way it looked. It turned into the nude look I was hoping for from the start. I have been wearing this shade almost every day since then. Looks really good w/brown and tan colored clothing.

I love this color. The perfect taupe. But it does get a little gunky-goopy in the tube if you're not careful.

THE COLOR LOOKS VERY NICE WITH A DRAMATIC LOOK ON THE EYES. HOWEVER, THIS PRODUCT MADE MY LIPS FEEL HEAVY,AND THEY BECAME CHAPPED AFTER USING TWO DAYS. I LIKE THE COLORS SO I'LL MOST LIKELY BUY ANOTHER ONE.

This is a good thick lip gloss. The colour is perfect for me and look very natural. I have strawberry/brown/blond hair, blue eyes, very fair peaches and cream skin and some freckles. With most lip colours, my teeth look either yellow or green. With this colour, they look white. After a few uses the opening of the tube gets a little gunky. I had to wipe it with a tissue. The colour lasts about 2 hours if I'm not eating or drinking. I'd definitely buy this again.

this is a nice base colour it's a dark fleshtone. i like to use this colour in the centre of my lips or to even out the discolouration of my lips.

Described as a mid-toned camel. On me this was more of a taupe-tan. But I still kinda like it. I can wear it over most any lipstick, and It turns into a pretty shade for me.
Alone it is a nice nude shade-I think: ) The texture is thicker, and slightly less sticky than MAC's lip glass, so try before you buy on this one, I'm still not completely won over. We'll see !
