I have the straightest, finest, limpest hair you will ever encounter. It's rather on the thin side and it hangs almost down to my waist. To be honest, I have no idea how to use mousse, but I bought this anyway after being satisfied with other Sebastian products. I put this on my damp hair by rubbing it into my roots and then blow drying... and nothing happened. I just got sticky hands from the product. I wasn't surprised because by now, I've just accepted that nothing can make my thin hair have any body or volume at the roots. Every product just makes my hair feel sticky. However, I do rub a little of this mousse into my sideswept bangs and then blow dry them to the side because this keeps them perfectly sweeping and in place. So overall, this product may work on others but it is just impossible to add volume to my hair. Also, it smells like artificial sticky sweet bananas.

The best mousse I've ever used. Unfortunately it is getting hard to find with the new Sebastian line in all the stores. Great lift and hol. Mousse for me is always either too sticky/stiff or leaves my hair too soft/no hold. This is perfect. Love it.

Excellent mousse that really gives a lot of body and volume to my fine, color treated hair. It doesn't make my hair dull and stiff/sticky like like some mousse does. I've used it a few times so far ... and so good...I'll edit later if anything changes.

I recently purchased a travel size because I did not want to lug my huge mousse can along with me on a trip. I first used it on a Sat. morning and now 6 days later I still have the dang container...So, I was impressed at how long a travel size lasted me. I will most definitely be purchasing the big size. This is the only mousse I have ever used that made my hair full and soft! I have incredible body and fullness unmatched to anything else I have ever used. People who wrote in and hated it, well, all I have to say is either their hair type was just not for this particular product or they need to be educated on how to use mousse. You cannot use the entire can or you will get nasty results!!! Anyway, will be repurchasing this in the future!!

Wow, surprised the rating on this isn't higher! Contrary to some of the comments below, this does NOT make my hair crunchy at all, which is normally a big gripe with me. I have a lot of very fine brunette hair a few inches past my shoulders. I've been using for about the last 2 weeks and I've really had nothing but good hair days since. Hair not only looks fuller, it actually FEELS thicker and fuller too. My only complaint is the price, I paid $14-15. But I gotta say, with results like this, it's kinda worth it. UPDATE: this thinkened my hair, but upon repeat applications - major build-up!! Made my hair, almost kinda sticky afer a while. Hard to describe. I am continuing to use, but I now use a clarifying shampoo every once in a while to remove all the build-up. Will not be repurchasing after all ):

I really love this product! I love how it makes my hair look - but, it does make it feel crunchy. I've only used it a handful of times, but after the day I tested it for the first time, I've used it every day since. I gave it a 5 despite the fact that it leaves my hair crunchy -- it defines my curls and makes it look soft and pretty, so, I can stand the crunchiness. I really love this mousse. for comparison purposes - I have thin, curly, short hair.

This is THE best mousse I have ever used for my fine, thin hair. It has worked wonders for my flat hair. I work it into my damp hair and blowdry immediately. My hair is bouncy and full all day long! This is definitely worth the price.
EDIT: I had to take a couple lippies off, only because I got a ton of hair chopped off. This worked great when I had long hair, not so great on my shorter, layered cut. It still gives body, but my hair doesn't have a lot of movement in it after I use this that other products provide.

If you have thick wavy hair, this is NOT the product for you. It weighs my hair down and makes it feel yucky, I just want to go home & take a shower! If you have thin hair, it will probably do wonders. Never again for me tho!

This mousse is great adding a little oomph fresh to help with my hairspray for more volume. I still miss my Vidal Sassoon Hair product line.

hated this product with a passion. after i put this in my hair i could not brush through it. it didn't make my hair sticky or stiff, just into this strange unbrushable tangled mess. i ended up having to wash my hair to fix it.
