Luscious. I got this soap as a freebie for buying two bath and body products. It's a large bar, and the scent is, like all of LM's bath products, incredibly realistic and pungent. I liked especially that while the scent was nearly overpowering in the shower, it didn't seem to linger afterwords. That's good because I like being able to have a scent to enjoy in the shower that won't compete with whatever lotion or perfume I use later. Very moisturizing and the bar lasts a long time.

In my humble opinion, Laura Mercier makes the finest soaps ever! They are so lovely and long-lasting that they are worth the obscene $18/bar price. I used to be a shower gel girl before I started using LM's stuff and now I'll never go back. Her Mediterranean soaps are just as nice as her Gourmande soaps--thick, squared blocks of finely milled French soap, this time in fresh, herbal scents instead of rich, sweet ones. The light floral Mimosa bar cleanses well and has a rather earthy hint of citrus in it, vaguely reminiscent of Tocca Stella Creme du Corps with much more green than orange. Unlike those of the Gourmande soaps, moreover, this scent does not linger much. I don't mind that though, particularly in spring/summer, when I just want to feel fresh and clean.
