When I first tried this product I couldn't stand the smell. I thought it was horrid compared to the normally sweet and delicious smell of orange satsuma and strawberry body butters from TBS. Anyway, I work at a job that caps bottles all day long and my hands were cracking, peeling and no lotion would work. I tried aveeno and bath and body works moisture cream and it did nothing for me. Then, magically one day I decided to give the beer smelling body cream a try and all I have to say is wow, this stuff works wonder. The butter/oils lock into your skin for hours and made a difference on my hands. The texture is perfect ; creamy and slightly thick. After loving this product, the smell grew on me. It's not overpowering at all and has a hint of fruitiness to it. One word for this product : Perfection!

Yum, I love the Body Shop's Cranberry scent. It's fruity but not overly sweet, with a hint of wine. This product is perfect for the Christmas season not only because of the scent but also because of its moisturizing power. You have to be careful not to apply too much, though; otherwise it'll leave your skin greasy.

This is one of my favorite TBS scents, unfortunately, my cranberry body butter went rancid quite quickly. It was nice while it lasted though!

This body butter smells so gooooood though it does have a hint of alcoholic smell. It moisturizes just like any body shop body butter. Love it.

I cannot resist the holiday cranberry scent at TBS. I have all of the cranberry products and this one is a little disappointing. The consistency is like the body butter for normal skin. Absorbs nicely leaving the skin smooth and soft. But the scent is....different.... it does not scream cranberry when you open the lid like other products in the same line. It's nice if you want a subtle scent once the butter is absorbed into the skin.

Hated the scent of this, I really liked it in the tub but on my skin it faded into the wine smell which I could not stand. Would not repurchase based on scent, if you like the smell try out a sample first to make sure the scent is the same on you hours later. I gave mine away, just couldn't tolerate it enough to finish it. My mom loved it.

I found this Cranberry body butter thicker and oilier than other TBS body butters. The smell is sooo strong after being applied to my skin, I can still smell it throughout the day and it's a little sickening. I don't reach for this often.

I really like this. The scent is one of my favorite body butter scents; not too sweet and not too strong. It moisturizes really well and leaves your skin feeling really soft and supple. The only con I have about body butters on general, is that because they are pretty oily (hence the ``butter``) I only use them at home and I have to be careful what I touch. If you`re not careful, the oilyness can get everywhere. I don`t like to use this when I`m sleeping because the oilyness of the body butter can get on the sheets. I also don`t go outside with this on because sand and dirt can get stuck to your skin. However, I still love body butters and I LOVE this particular one! :)

I got this few years back on Christmas sale. The smell is wonderful and when you apply onto your skin, the smell is not that strong. If this is one of the regular product line, I would definitely go with this one and this one only!
However, I did give a try on the new Merry Cranberry Body Butter that came out for Christmas in 2009. I found these two are slightly different in scent. I still like the old one better....

I used to love this product. Either I or the smell has changed over the years. Mark's new cranberry berry smells almost identical and it's six or eight bucks compared to 26 with this one. You do get a little less product with the mark one but it feels better on.

I love the feeling of this (kinda whipped) and the smell. It is not what I expected smell wise, it is lighter and not as sweet, but thankfully it smells better on me than it does in the container and I ended up loving it.

I should've stocked on it!! I just love this product. I purchased it when Christmas was over and seasonal stuffs came on a big sale. Back then, I didn't know what wonders this product would work on me. I love the scent especially. My sister says it smells like liquer, but I don't mind, it's all sweet and tangy and festive. My arms and legs are dry and this body butter leave them feeling soft. Good stuff! I don't like the container though because it could get sticky from your hands when you're handling it, with its big lid and bulky body. And I learned its regular price is $20 CDN, which is quite hefty. So come next after-Christmas-sale season, I'll be ready to spend my bucks on this like crazy.

Lovely smell and it stays all day. Would maybe consider buying again IF it wasn't so difficult to apply! It's too thick and I had to use so much of it to cover my body and I am a size 8!
It was a free example but I will not pay money for it.

I find this product just a little too greasy for me... but since other lotions haven't worked as well as this had, I shall not complain.
I use to put a layer of body lotion on my skin, followed by a layer of Vaseline. With this body butter, it/s much more convenient for me that I don't have to use vaseline anymore and still get the same moisturizing effects.
I love the smell. Its not too strong that people can smell it from a meter away, but it's just strong enough to make me feel good.
I don't like the packinging too much, though. It can be a little unhygenic.
The price is just right for the product, I think. I will continue to buy TBS body butter, not craneberry anymore, but shea, brazil nut and cocoa, depending on the season.

Cranberry is the essence of The body Shop's seasonal holiday range. It's a festive sweet and fruity scent that lasts on the skin, doesnt feel overwhelming and has the right balance of sweetness and tartness, pretty much authentic.
The butter moisturizes perfectly, even dry and very dry skin and softens rough spots just great. The line is renewed with new products every year, but the butter i stock up and enjoy.Preservative free.

Great product for the not-dead-of-winter dry skin. They could have put it in a tube rather than a tub but it's a minor gripe because I don't use it on my face so I don't mind so much. It is moisturizing enough without being too rich, I haven't found too many creams with this consistency. And it smells like great too! Highly recommended!

festive, fruity scent that's initially strong but fades nicely on your skin to a subtle fruity smell. not thick or greasy. prevents dry flaky skin, but doesn't do noticeably much in terms of softening/smoothing your skin, the way crabtree/evelyn does.
