I went into Origins to actually get the Mega Mushroom cleanser and instead got trapped by one of the very anxious-to-be-helpful, clingy salespeople and talked into trying the line that this belongs to. It does smell really, really good - one of the reasons I got talked into buying it - and after it absorbs it does make my skin feel really soft and supple. I almost can't help but touch my face kind of soft. It is lightweight and doesn't feel heavy. And it smells really good.
The cons: it takes a couple of minutes to absorb into MY skin (which I guess is different than others here) and it doesn't quite moisturise my cheeks enough, as I'm often left with flaky patches. Another fingerful of the gel-creme will make them go away, but this stuff is pretty pricey, and I don't like having to make another pass to do what it should do in one. Also, I'd really prefer a pump as the jar packaging isn't very hygienic. Still, you can see how much you have left.
But it smells really good and it does work pretty well on most parts of my face. My forehead (with fringe) is the only part that usually gets greasy during the day.
Did I mention it smells good? Mmm.

I bought this from airport duty free store and the first jar was ok. I wakeup with moisturized and supple skin. I love the natural scent and it made me relax at night. Everything was ok until I bought the 2nd jar. I am not sure whether is it my skin immuned to this product or I started to expect more. It just does nothing and my skin is very dry and this cream doesnt seems to help at all.

Sorry origins, i wanted to like you but with the price that I paid for, i cant.

I'm on my second jar of this, and while I want to love it, I don't. The smell is fresh and divine, and I do love the gel-like texture, but I don't like dipping my finger in the pot (wish it was in a pump). I have very sensitive skin which occasionally breaks out. This just feels like it sits on top of my skin, and while it feels like it should be deeply treating my skin as it is quite thick on application, it doesn't feel like it absorbs very good into my skin. I think it just feels like it sits on top and my skin is still dry in the morning. sometimes I also get bright red when I use it and sometimes I don't. think when I finish the jar this will be my last moisturiser from Origins.

I so wanted to like this cream, cute package, natural ingredients and moisturizing for fairly sensitive, dry and acne prone skin. It smells divine, but the texture is weirdly gel-like and it feels "unnatural" in a way, like it contains silicones or something.

It doesn't moisturize my skin at all, instead it becomes flushed and feels dry, uncomfortable and tight. It might be because of the Phenoxyethanol in the ingredient list, which is said to be a very irritative preservative (http://www.cosmetic-ingredients.net/product.php?brand=90&type=Moisturizer&lang=English#3158).

I bought a whole bunch of stuff from the series after a recommendation by a sales lady in a duty free shop. I later bought the Ultra Rich Rejuvenating Cream, and it feels better on my skin. But I probably won't buy again. Right now I'm trying out MyChelle skincare and so far so good.

I've been using this ever since I was a teenager and it's great for problem skin. I'm oily, but can use this every day and my face just drinks it up without leaving that annoying residue that ruins your make up.
Yes, it's expensive, but my Origins Counter gives so many samples with a purchase that I don't mind-also, it makes such a noticeable difference to my uneven skintone with regular use that I believe it's worth it.

Not bad but not enough diffirent . I hoped more values from it than it did. It is rather expensive. It made my skin smoother .But it's not special. May be, I don't repurchase it again.

I bought this thinking it would help my dry skin since it claims that its targeted for dehydrated skin. It has an odd toothpaste like smell and has an odd gel/cream texture but leaves a matte yet hydrated feel to the skin. It reminds me in a sense of a primer because it smooths over the skin and gives it a more perfected feel. Its a bit pricey running at about $40 so I don't believe I would repurchase it. It didn't really help to much with my acne. I have more cystic acne and those under the skin bumps and didn't seem to help but it did make my skin feel smoother. I wish it came in a pump, I am not a fan of the jar packaging but oh well. All in all its alright, nothing special to spend $40 dollars on though.

You only need a little aswell, the smell is great and it has done wonders for my skin.
its great for comb/oily skin to hydrate and smooth everything

This is a nice, light moisturizer for both day and night. The texture is very gel like, and the scent is pleasant but very mild. It dries very quickly which is important in the morning, and it definitely does not make my skin any more oily than it already is. I would not recommend this for dry skintypes, it is not extremely hydrating. It can even leave my skin feeling a bit parched, which is why I opt for a heavier night cream at night. I notice if I used this at night, and wash my face in the morning, there is still a layer on top of my skin... The plus to that is there is something there to protect your skin from the elements or makeup, but the downside is I don't really know if this is getting absorbed. Another negative about using this during the day is that there is no SPF, sooo... That adds an extra step to my skincare in the morning. For those whose skin does not agree with SPF, this might be great for you. Overall, I think I really like this, and will use up the jar. The SA told me this is a 6 months supply, and I agree because you really do not need much at all to cover your whole face. I don't think it will stop me from searching for something better once it is gone though.

As I grow older, my trustworthy Avene moisturizer just isnīt enough anymore although I add hydration booster and do regular hydrating masks. Iīm getting tired of that and besides it costs me a lot of money for hydration booster and masks. So I needed a new moisturizer. I hate to try new moisturizers, because my skin doesnīt like trying and testing new products. Therefore, I couldnīt test tons of moisturizers.
But I searched the top picks to find a new moisturizer and it came down to this one or the Clarins Hydra Quench.
I have dehydrated, sensitive acne-prone combination skin. My first concern was that my skin wouldnīt tolerate any other moisturizer. At least this one didnīt make my skin freaking out and itching. I was nervous, because it has a lot of plant extracts as ingredients.
At first application, nothing stung or burned. So far, so good.
But I immediately noticed, that it was too light for my skin. I had to reapply a second layer and it still wasnīt enough. A sure sign that the moisturizer really is too light for me.
Otherwise, I liked it. It sunk in and left my skin with a nice feeling, but just wasnīt rich enough for my skin.
I try to get a sample of the richer version.
Just not right for my skin.

I bought this on recommendation from a friend who also has very oily skin, as she said it didn't make her more oily or break her out. Unfortunately this wasn't the case with me. I went through an entire jar of this as a nighttime moisturizer and the entire time I would wake up a total grease slick, and I broke out constantly. Once I stopped using this and switched to Derma-E Very Clear moisturizer (my HG) the oil got back under control and the breakouts cleared up, so it was definitely this product that was causing both issues. This might be good for someone with drier skin, but I absolutely would not recommend it for anyone with problem or oily skin.

Didn't like this at all! It doesn't moisturise and it irritated my sensitive skin. For such an expensive product it couldn't have performed worse!

Seems I'm gonna go against popular opinion here but I have got to report my experiences on this one! I know it's supposed to hydrate and 'make a difference' but it only sat on my skin and just did nothing but exacerbate a sensitivity which was, until I used this, under control. My guess is, it's the overpowering floral scent, which has caused my rashes. Not really something I want or need in a day cream. I only experienced this when using this particular gel-like cream. This is the only ;product I was 100% disappointed in within the origins line.

Before I found Origins my combinastion skin had severe acne, oily t-zone, normal cheeks, some flakyness, dull complexion, some redness and large pores..

Origins has agreed wih my skin from the first application! Now I've used Origins product for quite some time, but ran out of both the cleanser, daycream and toner when I was low on cash, so I had to wait a bit to repurchase. In the meanwhile my skin got back to how it was before I started using this line.

About a month ago I came across a Make a Difference-kit in a sale. The kit contained a full size cream and a big sample-size of the cleanser, serum and toner in the same range, and it was ridiculously inexpensive, so i went for it!

I used the whole line every evening and the cleanser and cream in the morning, and WOW! My skin cleared up in TWO DAYS! Literally!

This will be my summer routine for sure! They offer a solution to my every skin problem, and keep my skin clear, nice and glowing! My makeup is now the bare minimun and I feel confident even without any makeup on! Will definitely repurchase again and again!

This is the most amazing moisturizer I've ever used!!! I have oily, acne prone skin that gets dried out very easily. This product has balanced out my skin so much. I've been using it for about 3 months, and it hasn't broken me out at all. I can't say enough positive things about Origins. My husband even used it : )

I have oily and sometimes acne prone skin. I regret for not trying origins line especially this moisturizer earlier. It smells citrusy, and refreshing, and has a gel- type consistency. This is best for combination oily skin and works best in combination with origins purifying organic toner. It takes about 1 minute to fully absorb and after that my skin feels silky smooth. It doesnt break me out and helps control the shine. I will NEVER use products that says it combats acne or oily skin coz those products tend to overdry the skin and just force ur skin to produce lots of oil. So far the best moisturizer ive used...i've ditched clarins and clinique toner and moisturizer as Origins is far superior.

P/s- i believe origins have change the formula of this moisturizer..was surprised to see its creamy when i first opened a new jar..but surprisingly it absorbs much better and more quickly and still gives good hydration as before...the smell has also changed- no more citrus, i dont know how to describe it but it smells like origins make a difference serum..to be honest i miss the citrusy smell!

I have very sensitive, dry and eczema skin, which is very prone to pimple outbreaks. A wrong product used will result in terrible rashes and itches.

After using this, I am very satisfied. First and foremost, there is no allergy effect. My skin feels soft, supple and moisturized. Outbreaks are also kept at a minimum. It also has a citrus fragrance which is very refreshing. I bought this at airport duty free, so the price is 20% cheaper than downtown.

So far I have not find a con factor. Nonetheless I will continue to monitor my skin condition.

I have very oily, acne prone skin. I believe I have found the best moisturizer for my skin! I am using the one for oily skin (I believe this moisturizer is sold in two different formulas-one for oily/combination, and one for dry). I use this at night after an acne topical medication and when I wake up in the morning my face IS NOT OILY at all. This is the first moisturizer to actually balance my skin!!! I have tried moisturizers where I would wake up with super oily skin. However, with this moisturizer it gives me the most comfortable, smooth texture. I will definitely repurchase! I have been using this every night for 3 weeks.

PROS:
-gel to cream type consistency, easy to blend
-smells fresh
-absorbs completely into skin within 5 minutes
-smooth, silky finish
-moisturizes throughout the night/day
-does not contribute to my breakouts
-natural ingredients (no parabens, mineral oil, etc.)

CONS:
-jar packaging
-price

i liked the texture, i liked the smell... but having reverse effects on my skin, so not worth it. By day three it burned my skin when i applied, created bumpy texture on my cheeks, and dried my skin out. So sad, thought it was going to be "the one".

Expensive jar full of silicones which did not moisturize or improve my skin texture, complete waste of money. I wake up the next morning and my skin feels dry with a weird silicone-y plastic feel.
