I have fine hair and I'm letting the color grow out. I have about 6 inches of new growth and the rest is dry and damaged...which is why I'm letting it grow out. I was looking for a new conditioner since my beloved pureology is out of my budget right now. This conditioner is a SUPER LIGHT conditioner. I can't stress that enough. I applied it to my ends after I washed with the matching shampoo and it felt like there was nothing on my hair. I applied more and let it sit on my ends for a couple minutes. Then I worked it up my hair to my roots and rinsed. My hair took a little longer then normal to comb through...it was more knotted then usual. After blow drying, the new hair growth looked amazing! Felt soft and looked shiny. But the hair that still has color looked dry and brittle. This is deffinatly not a conditioner that gives alot of moisture. If you have normal or virgin hain then I think this will work well as a summer time conditioner. Don't think it'll be enough moisture for winter months though. This conditioner is one step up from drug store brands but don't think it salon quality. The smell is amazing though...coconut and cocoa...but sadly doesn't last. I will repurchase because it's sulfate free.

So I was looking for a new conditioner because the pureology hydrate that I have been using(my favorite) is too expensive for me to afford anymore. I got this conditioner which was recommended to me by my friend who works at the salon by my house. I tried it for the first time last night and I actually love it!! It's just as good if not better than the pureology hydrate and it's half the price! My hair was so easy to brush out when I got out of the shower! No tangles! And that is very rare for my hair especially because it's soooooo long!! This is possibly my new HG conditioner

The conditioner is watery and runny which means that you have to use A LOT. It also dried out the roots of my hair and made it harder to straighten. It also smells awful.

I can't believe all the bad reviews, this is one conditioner that is ALWAYS in my rotation. I like the way it smells, and my hair is so soft after using it. It's one of my personal favorites I've ever used. I keep coming back to it. I have extremely long, thick, and healthy hair. This makes my hair manageable while not weighing it down too much (a huge problem when your hair is as long and heavy as mine). I've even gotten a few friends hooked on it.

I found this at Ross so I decided to try it out cause it was cheap (13$) but it totally dried out my hair! And it made a lot of hair fall out! The only thing I like is the smell..

This is the one conditioner I always have in the shower. This combined with the shampoo and the leave in conditioning spray are my HG products and I have long, 3A, curly, frizzy, hideous hair. There is something about this combination - followed with the joico icewhip/joiwhip mousse that makes my hair beautiful. The whole thing loosens the curl, makes my hair shiny and kills the frizz. I honestly don't like the smell of the conditioner too much and it's very thin so I use a lot of it but it works. I stray all the time because I'm trying to find a less expensive combination but I always go back to this whole thing - this line and the mousse. Every other product I use either tightens the curl which I hate, or doesn't condition well enough and in the process of trying to save money, I end up spending too much on a bunch of stuff I never use - this is it for me...love this stuff.

Not impressed. My long fine hair is dried out and tangled after using this product for a couple weeks.

This was the best rated conditioner here on MUA, I was searching for a thick conditioner to moisturize my hair better. My hair is extremely long and thick and lately, very prone to tangles.
I tried this out based on so many raves here on MUA. .. I'm totally dissapointed.
I used the whole bottle even though I didn't like it, hoping it would get better.
1.) It smells like sunscreen.
2.) It's super thin/watery.
3.) My hair was still tangly.
4.) I still had to use detanger and leave-in conditioner.
I paid $16.35 (with tax) a drugstore conditioner (Pantenne) smells better and makes my hair more managable than this.
Very disappointed!

This is an ok conditioner. It's not as thick and creamy as other conditioners. but once I put it in my hair it makes it feel nice in the shower. but My hair feels slightly weighed down from this. After one day my hair feels so weighed down with left over product. I just don't like this. Sticking with Redken All Soft for now.

This is a great product! Unlike most professional hair care, this one smells wonderful! You can really smell the cocoa. It covers well and rinses well. My hair is always left soft and clean. A little goes a long way with this! It is expensive, but I was able to find mine in a discount department store for less than half the price!

This product is a little pricier than what I am used to but I can find it at discount stores like Ross and Marshalls for $9.95 a bottle. Plus it's a huge bottle! I don't mind spending the extra for a great product. I use it in conjunction with the shampoo, and it makes my ash blonde hair super shiny and soft! I love it! I have naturally wavy super thick hair and I have a hard time finding a product that can manage my hair. This can definitely do it!

THE BEST CONDITIONER, IN THE WHOLE WORLD!
It makes my hair soft, silky, moisturized, super shiny, clean and light. I have no split-ends anymore, and my hair isn't frizzy or dry feeling anymore. Plus, it is ideal for color treated hair.
I am the type of person who never buys the same beauty product twice, ( i like to try new things...) but I repurchase his conditioner, and always have it on hand. NOTHING CAN COMPARE :)

This is the best conditioner I have ever used. It leaves my dry hair soft and really shiny, easy to style. It's not thick or goopy, and it has a nice subtle scent.

I'm really wondering if the formulation of this product was changed recently. After a particularly bad hair coloring experience at a salon a few years ago, my new stylist (the prior one ruined my hair, so I refused to go back) recommended that I give this a try.
At the time, my hair was COMPLETELY fried - a botched hair color job, followed by an attempt to strip out the color from the botched hair color job, followed by highlights over top to hide the awful color that my hair ended up...ick. Anyway, at that time, this (along with the Healthy Sexy Hair Shampoo) was the only saving grace for my hair...it made my straw-like, brittle/breaking, frizzy hair feel soft and healthy...a miracle in a bottle. It also seemed to provide my hair with the nutrients/conditioning that it needed, as growing it out from that hair color disaster was much easier than I thought it would be...don't get me wrong, it still took time...but not nearly as long as I thought it would.
I'm currently in a Redken kick lately (a combination of Extreme and All Soft), and when I was going to buy my typical Redken Shampoo and Conditioner last month, I picked up a bottle of this (and the corresponding shampoo) after reminiscing about how soft and healthy it made my hair feel way back when. Wow, what a difference this time. I only used this once, and it completely dried my hair out...such a disappointment! For reference, my hair is still very dry and damaged, with more breakage than I would like (due to a medication that I have to take).
I'm not sure if the formula was changed, or if my hair is just different than it was several years ago...but either way, this is a definite no-go for me now :-(

Leaves my hair fresh and bouncy when used as a rinse out, absolutely fabulous as a leave in !! - it gives my 3B curls (normally very frizzy and uncontrollable) great curl formation and shine, zero frizz and no crunch or sticky residue like some leave ins I have tried.Doesn't weigh my curls down either - Shirley Temple eat your heart out LOL. EDIT....Nearly 3 months later and I am still loving this conditioner HG.

I Love this product! I have thick curly hair that I flat iron on a regular basis. I like to put my shower cap on and let this soak in while I am taking my shower then wash it off last minute. It leaves my hair feeling super soft and shiny. Also I have found that my hair is staying straighter after going out in the humidity.

Love love love this, too. Used it with the chocolate soymilk shampoo, and the soy tri-wheat leave in conditioner and got great results. My hair is curly, thick, naturally dry, and has been damaged by bleaching 6 months ago and dyed twice since then. This just made my hair feel so incredibly soft, and I could instantly feel the difference after I rinsed it out. My hair felt silky and soft, but in a different way than with normal/cheaper conditioners. It felt like it was infusing my damaged hair with the moisture, instead of just coating it with some artificial greasy chemicals. Anyway as a reviewer below said, I wouldn't reccommend this to anybody with undamaged hair, but if you do have damaged hair, like me, this is probably the best thing to use. My HG product, at least until my hair grows out and I can cut off the damaged parts but that'll be a long time from now.

This is for the sexy healthy soy milk cond. that's safe for color treated hair. I actually liked this, but it wasn't quite moisturizing enough for my color treated damaged hair. I haven't tried it with the soy shampoo. I think someone with color treated hair that's in decent shape would like this though. The smell is a little weird but very clean smelling and I don't mind it. I don't even notice it when my hair is dry anyway. I will keep using this and putting a leave in on the dry areas but I'm not sure if I'll buy it again.
