Sooooo preetttyyy. Honestly, I see this and I get mesmerized by the little sparkles. Okay, so I've actually had this lipgloss for a few years [I KNOW, I know, so bad, etc] because one day I was browing the Smashbox glosses in Sephora, and being a film student at the time, could NOT pass up the one named '35mm.' Besides, it was such a pretty color, and in that day I was ALL about bronze. Bronze everything! Not that I had much makeup, so my 'bronze everything' consisted of a bronze lipstick and ...this. Something about the color always made me feel made up and formal and pretty for the only formal thing I attended - weddings. Now when I look at it though, it's a bit dark for my skintone [MUFE HD 120] so although it still looks quite formal and nice and although it isn't actually dark, sometimes I feel like I should still give youth softer or brighter colors.

That aside, this lip gloss is SO gorgeous. I haven't used it in so long, I always contemplated just chucking it [out of my obsessive need to keep things minimal] but thankfully never did, because putting it on on a whim tonight, [a whim involving being bored and putting on full makeup complete with heavy smoky eyes, and doing my hair ...with nowhere to go but bed. Alone.] topped with clear gloss - I am in love again! I never looked closely, but now when I do, I see the gorgeous sparkles. Paired with the clear gloss, it looks super shiny and luscious and smooths out the lips beautifully. Lip color was always the 'final touch' [well, before perfume] to make me feel 'done up.' This is the reason why :) This gloss makes you feel PURTY.

Gorgeous bronzy rose with shimmer. I'm wearing it now without makeup and loving the way it makes me look made up. It's a great color, and like other reviewers I almost passed it up. But, I swatched this on my hand, and thought hmmmm, how pretty is that! The consistency is excellent and not very sticky. Apply lightly until you get the right amount that you want. The color really pops, and is almost a touch metallic but is not too bright. A great product; worth the splurge.
Their lipsticks, although nice in color, are totally not worth buying because they don't last literally more than 30 minutes, but this gloss has restored my faith in Smashbox. I may have found something that I will actually repurchase.

One of my favorites in this line! It is reminds me of autumn. It is a red bronzey shade that is shiny. Pigmented so goes on nicely with good color payoff. I have this in a medium tube .16 oz.

A wonderful neutral pinky brown....I absolutely love this color!! I think this is a beautiful neutral on Olive, Dark or Deep complexions. Lipgloss consistency is just right..not goopy or messy at all. This is definitely in my Top 5's for lipglosses across the board.

Looks lovely in the tube, but just doesn't work for me. I'm NC30-ish and this really should work, but maybe my lips are just too pigmented and this totally wash me out... :( Nice texture as all have said and lasts pretty well. Of course nothing else matters if it simply looks bad on me! Will try some of the other colors.

I'm on my sixth tube. This is a luscious pink brown-and rather opaque. Think NARS Pigalle or MAC Sequin.Perfect texture, nice luster. MY HG of the gloss world.

This is one of the first Smashbox lipglosses I tried and still love it! Its a beautiful suede brown, not too pale and not too dark in fact just right! I tend to lean towards this one more in Autumn, and the consistency is just perfect, its not sticky like some and for a gloss has some pretty good lasting power. Wish this one was more easily available in the UK.

I received this product free in a kit at Nordstrom's for purchasing 3 other items (brow tech and 2 brushes). I was unimpressed upon looking at it in the tube. On me, however, it is doing good things. It has a sort of metallic finish that gives it depth on the lip. Not too frosty by any means. On my lips it softens to a bronze that compliments my natural lip color. It really is a neutral, original color. I would say that if I run out of this I would purchase again and I usually never remember to pick up the same gloss 2wice.

Yeah, what she said!

I discovered this gloss in an "our favorites" display at Sephora. I have very dark hair and eyes and very pale skin. So many lip glosses and lipsticks either make me look too washed out or tend to be garish. This color was perfect: a shimmery bronze-like color that slightly deepens my natural lip color and really makes me lips look fuller. It's like a nude with "oomph."

The consistency is amazing. You have to reapply after eating, but I guess that's true with virtually every gloss. The tube is a real skinny rectangle—great for carrying around.

Definitely my new HG lip gloss!

At last I have a HG lipgloss. I never would have tried this on my own...I've passed it by a million times at Sephora, thinking it was just too metallic and garish looking, but a MA at Nordstrom tried a color on me that was absolutely stunning. I didn't know it was 35mm and I'm glad I didn't know beforehand, or I'd have told her not to bother. As it is, I'm thrilled with this lipgloss. Don't be put off by how it looks in the container. It comes out on me as a stunningly beautiful mauvey-bronze. It doesn't seem to matter what shades of makeup and clothing I have on. This looks beautiful no matter what. This makes a wonderful neutral; the best I have ever seen. Goes with absolutely everything. Texture is excellent, too. Not sticky at all. I will definitely be repurchasing this. I feel so strongly about this that I'm thinking of deleting my other lipgloss reviews in favor of this one.

Lovely bronzey shade with a touch of peach that looks much better on than it looks in the packaging. Reminds me a bit of Revlon SL l/g in Raisin Glaze. Upon initially opening this, I was certain that it would be too brown and/or warm for my NW15 complexion. Surprisingly, it is very flattering on me. Nice texture too, not too sticky yet tacky enough to stay on for a reasonable length of time. I took one lippie off for the paltry amount of product Smashbox provides given the steep price.

I got this as part of a set from Smashbox called All Access VIP Beauty Must Haves. I find that the color isnt the PERFECT one for me but I am really pleased with the texture and lasting ability. It goes on with alot of pigment so its a great substitute for lipstick. It is one of the best glosses I have used, I will definately repurchase but probably in a different color.

On my fairly pigmented lips, "35mm" is a soft brownish rose, neither too dark nor too light, with a slightly pearly/frosty finish. It's a really pretty neutral since the brown and pink are well-balanced--this adds just the right bit of color to my pale, AAB complexion for the Fall and works well with almost all of my makeup colors. The texture is smooth and creamy and non-sticky (at least, if you don't really pile it on) and the pigmentation is quite good for a gloss. There's no real taste or scent, though one gets a touch of "old lipstick" upon initial application, and the packaging is quite chic-looking (sort of like the NARS glosses) but really small. I think for the price, they could've given you a slightly bigger tube. But the price isn't too terrible and Lord knows there are other brands that give you even smaller tubes for even higher prices *cough*BOBBIBROWN*cough. Would repurchase.

ETA: I just realized that "35mm" is a lot like Chanel's "Unity" Glossimer on my lips when applied relatively sheerly. It's funny because they look quite different when swatched on white paper: Unity is more pinky-rose and 35mm is definitely more beigey and warm. But on my lips, they are very similar to each other, except that 35mm looks a bit flat, whilst Unity has a lovely golden glow to it. I think I prefer Unity overall, but it's nice to know that there's a reasonable dupe for it out there.

Until I read some of the reviews, I would have guessed this to be a universally flattering shade, and during all times of the year! It is for me (NC 30). Love this gloss, see my review under "general."

I love the texture and feel and lasting power of Smashbox glosses generally, but this tauped rosy brown shimmer gloss is my all time fave gloss from their line. I deducted one lippie for the packaging because I find that the overall design makes it difficult to get all the gloss out when the tube starts to get low.On my neutral super-pale PPP skin, slight freckled face and red hair, this looks gorgeous in all seasons. Doesn't seem to matter what colours I'm wearing on my body or my face, this works on me. It is the one gloss that I put into every handbag and that I miss hugely if I travel without it. Dare I say it.. my HG gloss? Yep its' true.

I bought this lipgloss today at COSTCO along with Desire and Silhouette together in a package for $14.99! Wow what a deal! I love all of them! I was going to purchase the 35mm after reading reviews here on them anyway because they are now selling SMASHBOX cosmetics at ULTA (in Naperville, IL). The 35mm is really pretty - a metallic brown color; Silhouette is a frosted Taupe color and Desire is a frosted Taupe color with pink in it. They are so gorgeous. If you have very pigmented lips these are not very dark but just enough color to add a pretty glaze and they are different you can tell. I would repurchase for sure!

I am not disappointed that I bought this because I wear it a lot. But it's definitely a winter color. I saw it advertised in the most recent Sephora catalog and it looked really nice. But when I put it on, it looked a little too brown and metallic. So I had to put a pink'ish lip gloss over it, and it looks great. I could get away with wearing it alone (I am PPP) at night or with dark clothing, but it's not that flattering of a color. Yet, still, there is something I like about it (maybe the auburn tint to it). I'll continue using it but I won't repurchase it. There are plenty of better colors out there.
