This stuff is amazing. I have a sample that I've used on my torso (wouldn't waste it on my legs and such). It makes my skin incredibly smooth and supple -- goes way past any moisturiser I've ever tried.
But it is -- cough, cough -- super expensive, so I had to tick "no" to buy again.

I love the satin smooth feeling this serum left on my skin. I use it before sleep only. The Clarins SA said this product will help correcting uneven skin tone. I've been using this for two weeks but I haven't seen changes on the skin tone. One thing for sure is that my skin looks more shiny and healthy although I never use body lotion on day time.
Got this as a Christmas present from my boyfriend, so I won't complain on the price :) I will buy this again next Christmas. I mean, will have my bf buy it again for me LOL!

Wonderful product, but a little pricey. Very smooth to glide on, absorbs easily, non-sticky. and it smells fresh too. Not an absolute necessary purchase, but if I can splurge on bodycare products, this would be one of them.

Very nice, luxurious lotion that smells wonderful and sinks in on a second. I wish I could buy a full size since I only have a small version of it but unfortunately the price is too high for a product I uses a lot of. In everyday use, sensitive people may become tired of the smell because it is quite strong but otherwise it is wonderful and I don't need any perfume when I wear this lotion. Lovely, silky product that is perfect for the less dry skin. For more dry skin this may not be enough.

This leaves the skin so silky. It doesn't moisturize all that great, but it makes the skin feel as though it is naturally smooth, not "moisturizer" smooth. The great thing about it is that you can dress immediately.

Recently Clarins updated this product.It now comes in a plastic bottle instead of a glass pump one and has almost double the quantity, 200mL instead of 125mL.Also they have added more moisturizing ingredients, something that the previews formula lacked.
I have dry skin and i usually use this as an intensive treatment every once in a while, and for a month after summer.
It absolutely renews the skin,makes it amazingly soft and luminous and takes away any rough spots,dryness,discolorations and dehydration marks.I don't find it firms the skin,but it's not something i really need.Plus it makes your tan last longer.
Overall if you have dry skin and need something more because your regular body moisturizer and scrub isn't cutting it, try this.It IS moisturizing and it's a really good boost for skin that needs rehydration,softness,radiance and age prevention.
Automatic re buy next season,i have half a bottle left which i'm using now as a night cream for my body and 2 bottles im planning to buy after summer.

One of my all-time favourite body products. This serum is much lighter than a standard body lotion, and as a result is lightening quick to apply. It leaves skin with a sort of powdery-silky texture that I absolutely love. I don't think it's main function is to moisturise as such (though it does a reasonable job of that) but is much more about skin smoothing and toning. The smell is divine - I wish they would do a matching milk or foam bath, or even a fragrance. I have used this for years and recommend it to any one wholeheartedly.

texture: absorbs very fast, light weight. smell: like baby powder/ floral. positive: i like to use it in the day as it absorbs really fast and i can layer some other products on without feeling too heavy on my skin. the smell is very soothing and nice.. negative: hate the packaging in glass bottle (broke once before).it doesn't really moisturize my ankle and knees (which is very dry), i still have to layer on with my clarins moisture rich body lotion. results: skin is definately softer and smoother, but for certain area it's just not moisturizing enough. guess for those in countries that r drying may feel that it's not moisturizing enough as well.

I purchased this a few months before my wedding as I wanted my skin to look its best. I wasn't disappointed with this product - it contains pre-retinol (precursor to vitamin A) to smooth and refine texture, promoting fresher and more luminous skintone as well as moisturizing. Well - to be honest I don't think it was sufficiently moisturizing enough even during the warm summer months, but it definitely did smooth out the skin on my back. Being break-out prone, I tend not to use moisturizer on my back, but this was effectively light enough, and due to the expense of the product and the relatively small amount you get for the price, my back was the only place I used it. The few blemishes and scars I had were evened out (although they didn't completely disappear), my skintone was more uniform and I was pleased with the results. I used a separate moisturizer for the rest of my body so I cannot say how firming it was, but it's definitely not moisturizing enough to be used all over, and especially given the price. I frequently return to this before major events - it feels a luxury to use. Contains a soft powdery scent but no SPF (so use at night only), and comes in an elegant glass pump jar. Costs GBP33.00 for 125ml.

In the beginning i felt in love with the smell and the texture, but my personal advise- test it not just on your hands!!! On my hands it felt nice and smooth, but on the body...i had itchy skin, all body went red... i quess i am alergic to pro-retinol wich that product has ...

I used up one bottle, but I cannot see any visible difference: pigmentation, skin texture, etc. remains pretty much the same. It's a nice and pleasant product: nice scent, lightweight. But considering the price I expected more. Also if your skin is dry, it will not be moisturizing enough. It's a product which is nice to have around, but I will not repurchase.

Such a wonderful scent that is for sure but given the price and the size it's a bit expensive especially this is a body product. But if you love the scent as much as I do, I have no choice but to keep going back for more. It's not good enough to use as moisturizer alone but it doesn't intend for that purpose anyway. However, such a treat to put it. Looking forward to put it on everytime.

I've been using this for a few weeks and don't see much of a difference in my skin tone. However, I'm in my late 20's, and my skin still is very resilient. I admit I bought it because of the smell (lovely powdery smell) and texture (silky smooth like French cashmere). It's not very hydrating, but it feels so good to apply it. It's definitely an extravagance and something I can do without. I would recommend using it on key areas like the decollete, upper arms/legs, and derriere, and then following with a suitable moisturizer like Clarins Moisture Rich Body Lotion (if your skin is dry).

It is like rubbing top quality pure cashmere onto your skin. The scent is subtle but beautiful. However it is ridiculously expensive.

Bought after reading amazing reviews about it.
My body : Normal/a little dry, a few stretch marks ( that are dark, so please pm me if you have any tips on how to make them dissapear ! ).
The scent is heavenly and it's very easy to apply and blend in with the skin instantly.
Now the reason I rated it so low is because it does not do anything which requires it to be so pricey. You can get smooth and soft skin with any other drugstore brand. The jar it comes in is very heavy and is not convinient to take with you when travelling.
Bottomline : Didn't do anything and I don't want to pay this much just smell good cause I can do that anyways with other less pricey products.

I love the feel of this stuff on my hands, it feels so matte, yet very moisturized, an amazing feat! The smell is a very nice powdery scent, so pretty. I don't know that I'd pay for the full sized bottle, but I will definitely use this travel size on my travels around the world.

The retinol-like ingredient in the product helps to improve skin elasticity and tone and is easily adsorbed into the skin. Very easy to apply and can be very addictive to use. However, the deterrent is the price.

If you have rough or "pumpy" body skin, you should probably think about investing on this serum.
I wish it was cheaper, but I have to agree with another reviewer that it is such a pleasure to use this. It smells nice, goes on smoothly without leaving any greasy or sticky feelings. So you can get dress right after applying the lotion.
After a few times using it, i started to see that my skin is getting softer and smoother and the tiny pumps that sometimes appeared on my back are almost gone.
You don't need so much to cover your whole body, but this little bottle is way expensive, so i use Nivea Soft for my legs instead.
I couldn't believe i spent $55 for this 125ml bottle, but it well worths the money and i will definitely repurchase when i run out of it.
Update: i am still using this serum and still am very satisfied. This is probably my best buy it comes to beauty stuff. And a bottle lasts for about 2 months if used everyday on your neck, back, chest and arms

First used this product 3 years ago & haven't looked back since. No other body lotion even comes close! What I like is that it seems to have treatment benefits that makes skin look better, while moisturising dry skin. A winner.
