ALL PROS: Sheer, somewhat natural color. A pop from my natural color. A red/pink tone. Not too cool toned. SPF!!
ALTERNATES: Great DS dupe for this that is much cheaper is Neutrogena's Moisture Shine Lip Sheer with spf, and Covergirl Natureluxe Gloss Balm.

Rose quartz is a pretty deep rose colored lipstick. It goes on pretty sheer, but it's darker than I expected. This is my first tube of lm's lip kisses and I'm pretty happy with it. I was expecting something a little more moisturizing and glossy though. It goes on really matte and has the same texture as regular lipstick to me, not moisturizing at all. Also I was expecting a vanilla scent but it smells kind of fruity to me. Maybe it was reformulated? I may give this to my mom it would look gorgeous on her.
Eta: ok I'm keeping this, I put it on and asked my husband what he thought and he said "it's beautiful" he's never said anything about my lip color before so I guess this really does look nice. He said it's different from what I normally wear (nudes and pinks)

This is my first LM lipstick; I received it in a swap. I'm very impressed. The formula is fabulous -- very moisturizing and shiny and lasts a long time. I love the color, too, which has been described. The only negative is that it seems expensive for the small tube that you get -- but luckily I swapped for it.

I got this as a gift from a friend and the first thing that I loved was the vanilla chocolate smell. YUMMY! the texture is incredibly smooth and the colour really prettty. Deep pinkish tone.

I love the lip kisses line-- rose quartz is a beautiful sheer rose-- I'm on my second tube! The berry slush and nude beach lip kisses have converted me into a faithful Mercier customer!Her latest "mercury rising" palette (NM) is my new treasure-- incredible colors for the summer months!

Rose quartz is a dark rose pink color. It looks fine on me but I do not reach for it that often. It leaves a white film on your lips after a while.

I love LM's Lip Kisses! Rose Quartz is a medium sheer rose. It's not lips but better but brighter and deeper. It still looks natural on my lips. I wore it in a friend's wedding (instead of the horrid bright pinky red lipsticks the makeup artist was putting on everyone else!), and it showed up beautifully in pictures.
The texture of Lip Kisses is fabulous...they are moisturizing and a little glossy, similar to Clinique Almost Lipsticks but a little more glossy. They last a pretty good amount of time on the lips for a sheer lipstick. I have this and Apricot Sorbet and would like others!

I bought this off of lauramercier.com (based upon the website's little sample swatch) thinking it would be a YLBB shade on me. Well it wasn't. Not that it's not a pretty shade, just that it appears more of a brighter medium rose(y)-pink on the lips rather the more natural berry tone I was expecting. (Don't trust the swatches!) Also, I seem to be the only one detecting not vanilla, but a hint of chocolate?

Loved this medium rose sheer colour-the texture and scent are wonderful-just purchased this along with the lipstick in Courtisane-they actually work quite well layered together too-This will definitely be a staple in my collection-great for spring and summer.

Beautiful! As I've mentioned many times I have very pigmented rosey lips. This is a wonderful rose color that goes on fairly sheer (like a cross between a lipstick and lipgloss) and (according to Mercier's site) is rated SPF 15. It has a very pleasant vanilla scent and a very smooth feel. If you love rose lipsticks (and/or glosses) definately check this out: you won't regret it!
