As another reviewer has noted, this scent makes me feel happy and alive when I spray it or smell it. It's hard to describe, but it is very tropical and sweet smelling and reminds me of summer and a date at the beach. My friend in high school used to wear this body spray and it always smelled so lovely. Unlike Calgon's Marshmallow body spray, I don't feel too old to wear this and would totally rock this scent in the summer!

I always loved this body spray! The whole line was inexpensive & had enough stuff to layer to keep the scent going. Such a pretty, slightly fruity floral. I always layered it with Avon's Rare Gold for the perfect combo with some depth :)

I have used this spray for about 12 years (off and on.) I like the sweetness, and I have found that it really works with my body chemistry. It literally lasts all day! The scent is sweet and fruity, not a traditional floral. You can't beat the price - I always buy the gift sets after the holidays. One point off on packaging, since I've had a few of these bottles leak in my suitcase while traveling. I will continue to rebuy as long as they keep making it!

First off, I love the smell of this fragrance. It's the perfect scent for summer and everytime I think about it, I imagine the fragrance on a light-wash jean jacket.
I've given it such a high rating because even after all these years, I still continue to use this product (in fact, since middle school!).
The scent itself can be a little over-powering just because it's a WHAM of floral. This can be a good thing or bad thing but I find that it works.
Refreshing in the summer time because it's a light spritz on the skin.
The bottles are not ugly, but they're not glamorous either. They work for the price and the last time I checked they come in a small size (2 fl oz) for travelling or carrying around in your purse and a larger bottle. Sometimes you can get lucky and they're all sale. I remember I stocked up on the smaller size bottles and they were $2 at Shopper's Drug Mart at the time.
I wish the scent lasted a little longer so I didn't have to reapply throughout the day, but I can deal. After all, it's a body mist and not a perfume.

Oh man, I used to wear this scent in high school. I remembered I used to be obsessed with this scent. It's just too sweet for my taste now. I live in Hawaii and it really does smell like the actual flower hahahah. Really sweet and florally.

I had this in high school. It smells like a cheerleading squad circa 2000-- sickly, sickly sweet, like tropical fruit that is past its prime. A more accurate name might be "Expired Fruit Cocktail." I cannot detect any ginger in this at all. I suppose if this works with your body chemistry, it would be a good bargain, as the EDP bottles are enormous (if plain.) I will never use this again.

This is sooo refreshing how could anyone not like this. I used to wear this when I was younger and I just picked this up again and still love it!! I love the burst of exotic fruit. I would not consider this an everyday scent put perfect for those hot days when your out all day and need refreshed. This will do that. I was at an amusement park and I was so sweaty so I refreshed myself with this and alot of strangers were telling me how great I smelled but I was hot and sweaty.

My favorite body spray - ever. I love love LOVE this smell. I spray it on everything. I have a ton of body sprays but I always come back to this one! It smells so good for the summer. The only thing is that the smell doesn't last very long but no body spray does.

My sister had hawaiian ginger body spray so I smelled it and it became my second favorite smell in the whole world. (#1 is the smell of ice, but that can't be topped) I can't even describe what it smells like but i just can't get enough of it! I will DEFINITELY buy this again. it's also good because it's not too strong. :)

I get compliments on this scent, so maybe I should give it a 4.
I'd give it a 3.5. It's a fruity scent, and pineapple seems to be the fruit. Also some florals. For me, it's a bit sharp, but others do like it a lot. For Calgon, it's really not bad, certainly very wearable.

I love this Eau de Parfum, it is reminiscent in packaging of the classic Coty and Jovan perfumes of the '70s and '80s. The scent is a floral and exotic Hawaiian experience that takes me back to the beloved and beautiful paradise that is Hawaii. Love this!

I forgot I even had this...I had in my possession the body splash and the EDT. I gave the body splash to my daughter because it was just a bit too sweet for me, but the EDT is a bit more complex. It is sweet and flowery with a light tropical fruit note. The proper name for Hawaiian white ginger is awapuhi, and I remember this being an ingredient in a Paul Mitchell shampoo that I used to "borrow" from my uncle, who, at the time, was very vain about his hair. This scent does bring back some memories.

Edit: Would probably not buy this again...it's mostly nostalgic and I've outgrown this.

Just had to chime in...this fragrance was my favorite in high school! I think I started using it as air freshener in my dorm room in college. It's such a happy, pleasant scent. I also agree that it is a great summery scent. Not sure I'd wear it now, but definitely great quality for teens.

I forgot all about this stuff! It takes me back to high school. My mom had some for some reason and I hijacked it all from her and wore it all the time. It has a warm fruity smell that is very cool at the same time. It lasts awhile for a body spray too. I also really liked a tanning bed lotion that smelled like Hawaiian Ginger.

Although I dont think it would be something I would wear often these days, I would love to pick some up for next summer. My boss at my first job used to keep a spray of this on her beauty station and the smell of this also reminds me of that first job fun. *sighs* Def. tracking this down at my next wally world trip! What fun!
