This is definitely a sunscreen and not a moisturizer. It feels like a heavy sunscreen, smells very strongly of it, and absorbs poorly. It is not something to wear as a daily moisturizer. Since I already bought it, I will use it when I go to the beach but not under other circumstances.
To be fair, once you go into the SPF 30+ category, it is hard for a moisturizer to fully cover up that sunscreen feel and smell, but this is one of the worst.

First off I loved that this product has a 30spf rating which is great but I find it too much for the winter time here in Canada as there isn't that much sun. This product did make my pores look larger and made my face slightly greasy so much so that it made it difficult to apply any type of foundation afterward. However, that can be fixed by patting on a powder.
Great price for the quality of the packaging and the amount provided.
Will put it in the cupboard and bring it out when the days become much longer.
In the meantime I've switched to Ombrelle's 15spf for my face.

Eww. Just eww. It's thick and just sits there on my face and makes me smell like a used beach towel. It's basically a glorified sunscreen, and if that's all you're looking there's better stuff out there. It never really absorbed into my skin, made my makeup look horrible and it the sunscreen smell never fades. Ever. I was ultimately trying to find a good moisturizer that's higher than SPF 15 and this is notttttt it.

This was an okay product for me...it wasn't anything special. I actually thought it just felt like regular sunscreen, but in a smaller, more expensive tube. It looked shiny on my face, and my pores looked huge (normally, they're not very visible). When the product was fully absorbed, my face didn't feel any more moisturized than if I had used plain sunscreen.
Then...a small amount of sweat made the product run into my eyes. IT BURNED. The more that I tried to wipe it away (so more wouldn't get into my eyes), the more that it stung. I mean, seriously....even the aerosol sunscreen sprays don't sting that bad when they run!

This is an excellent example of why you don't have to spend department store prices to get quality skincare. This sunscreen doesn't break me out, doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy or oily, protects me from the sun and it's cheap! Excellent, love it, will repurchase forever.

This really isn't a moisturizer, just a sunscreen. It has a very distinct sunblock smell. It feels very greasy and it leaves my face looking shiny. Not moisturizing, but still too thick to put on my face. Did not do what it claimed to do, and it was terrible even as just a sunscreen. I will not buy this again.

Since its basically summer finding a good moisturizer with SPF is essential. With my oily skin, its hard to find a daily lotion that doesn't increase my oiliness. Often face lotions with SPF are extra greasy and make my oily face look extra shiny. I picked this lotion up hoping it wouldn't do what I was dreading to my face. Unfortunately, for my oily skin this does not work for me. It simply makes my face looks like a greaseball. This just did not work for my skin type.

I was looking for a moisturiser that had sun protection qualities with it and because I heard some decent reviews about this product, I decided to give it a go.
Boy was I regretting it.
Once applied to my face, it immediately felt greasy and did not have that supple, soft feel I usually have without moisturiser on. Two days later, I had this breakout on my upper lip, which was enormous. I have normal skin and so the product must have been extremely greasy to cause my skin to breakout as badly as it did.
I did not notice any real change with regards to the moisturising aspect as my skin just felt greasy point blank.
Have I said this product was greasy yet?

This is the only sunscreen I've tried that hasn't made me Breakout. It isn't as greasy as normal sunscreen but it still has a sheen which looks dewy and healthy rather than oily. It doubles as my primer as well as being a moisturizer/sunscreen. Good product!

I really liked this product.
It was moisturizing, but not oily so my skin stayed dewy, not shiny looking (and I have oily skin that gets disgustingly shiny). It absorbed quickly, and left my skin feeling soft.
It is a very good hot-warm weather moisturizer because it is light weight (great for Toronto summers), but probably will not be heavy enough for the cold dry weather.

I tried this because I wanted a sunscreen that could be worn under makeup without being too greasy. I have had good luck with other Neutrogena products, and it was on sale at CVS, so I decided to give it a try.
Overall, it was fine. Nice texture, only slightly greasy feeling, but absorbed quickly so my face didn't feel like an oil slick.
Why did I only give it a rating of three? There just isn't enough to make it worth the price, even on sale. After just a few weeks, the tube was empty. Which was frustrating because I was only using it on my face, and often a huge amount would come out of the tube. I tried being as careful as possible, but it was just too frustrating.
If this came in a larger size, and it was easier to control how much came out of the tube, it would be one of my favorite products. But because it was gone so quickly, I think it is too expensive in the end.

This product gave my non sensitive skin a terrible reaction. I broke out in zits, my face became very red, dry, peeling and then extremely oilly. I hated it, the only reason it gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because it has SPF.

Wonderful light weight moisturzier-I love that its non-comedogenic-meaning it doesnt clog pores-its moisturizing while blocking the UV rays-what else more could a girl want?

It did moisturize many parts of my face, but it didn't actually help my dry cheeks that much. However, this product lasts for a long time, I used it for 3/4ths of a school year and it still isn't finished. Smells weird, and gets me somewhat oily during the day. Will not be buying it because I don't want to look like a grease ball.

I love this moisturiser. It provides excellent sun protection and isn't too greasy for my skin. This is especially important for me since I use tretinoin for my acne, which makes my skin sensitive to the sun. Using this moisturiser, I haven't experienced any flaking or sun burn which is a constant hazard with tretinoin. I sometimes try other moisturisers with SPF but I keep coming back to this one because it works.

I have the spf 50 version, but this product was absolutely terrible! I have sensitive dry skin and without thinking, purchased this product only to burn my face! I don't know if I had an allergic reaction to some of the ingredients but it burned so badly when I put it on that I had to wash it off right away. After a few days, my face broke out like madness! Also, it smelled badly and it made my face look really pale. It is also expensive for a small bottle (around $12 @ Walmart). I've never had any problems with moisturizers (or Neutrogena brands for that matter) until this one. Will not purchase again.

Awesome product!
Pros:
-Blends beautifully
-High SPF
-does things a moisturiser is suppose to do
Cons:
-A little bit pricey for the size, but then again, i little bit goes a long way
-i little greasy sometimes
and when I play sport in the morning, this product may slip and slide due to perspiration- but thats normal.
Overall, I do reccomend this product if your expecting a long day out in the sun :)

I have the SPF 45 version but the formula is the same.
I wanted something a little more protective seeing that my skin is fragile and I am close to my 30s now so I need to be careful.
First of all, I always liked Neutrogena daily moisturizers, but there are way too many to choose from! I took this one because of the SPF...
It moisturizes very very well. Not too greasy, not too light, texture is pleasant, no perfume, so far so good.
My skin is very uneven due to harsh winter + makeup + lack of sleep etc etc so I need something strong yet not too heavy.
I took off a lippie because even with primer and powder foundation, my skin becomes shiny after a couple of hours. But I figure you can't have it all. So I'll stick with that one for now.
