I have been using Dove original clean scent deodorant since it first came out in the late 1990s / early2000s. This is the only scented deodorant that I like, it seems that all of the other ones (Degree, Secret, Lady Speed Stick) smell way too strong & make me sick. My favorite is the Ultimate Clean Original solid, but I think they stopped making it. The only have the regular invisible solid in stores, which does leave some white marks. However, it goes on smoothly, doesn't sting, and it does an above average job on wetness and odor. You might need a second application on hot days or after exercise. Usually you can get these for under $4. Now if they only made a roll-on in the original clean scent, that would be even better.

The only real reason why I buy this deodorant in my years through middle, high, and currently college, is because it's cheap. This deodorant comes in a bundle with 2 deodorant for around $6.
I usually buy the Original Clean or Fresh. Both smell fine, they're not overpowering and makes me smell clean. Smelling clean and fresh is very important to me.
On regular days when I use this, I won't sweat under my underarms because of this. It really does what is claims-an antiperspirant.
However, when there is something happening. For example, a presentation, a date, or just anything that causes me to stress, I'll sweat through this deodorant. This doesn't stop my stress sweat unfortunately and the cloth under my underarms will feel slightly damp from it. That's very unappealing.
But, considering my budget and that I've been using this for years without any problems of irritations, and it does stop my sweat on regular day activities; I'll keep buying this. I do, however, change it up a bit and use a different brand sometimes (Secret).

The dove deodrant is really great, how it smells really fresh and cool! :) i really also like how they make the scent smell like soaps. love love love this deodrant and will be constantly getting seconds and thirds!

I buy this deodorant time and time again because I love the fresh smell. While it doesn't block sweat, it prevents any unpleasant odors. It goes on smooth and lasts throughout the day.

I am going to have to try to be fair on this one since I have been a long time user of Dove deodorant. I love the scent. Its not too overpowering. It glides on smooth and looks as if it gives a translucent cover, BUT as the day goes on, it will rear its head up and stain your clothes at the arm pit area white. If you don't take care of it ASAP, there will be a grease stain permanently stamped onto your clothing. I had a few nice dark color dress shirts ruined because of this. I don't want to have to feel like I have to wear a low cut t-shirt underneath my clothes so that I can avoid this, but again, I have used it for so long, and loved the scent. I have tried others, but they were either worst then Dove, or just doesn't cut it in the scent department for me.

I've been using this a few weeks as I started to experience irritation with aerosol deodorants. It works really well for me, fresh scent all day, improved look and feel of underarms and it weirdly seems to have slowed regrowth! Will buy again

I think this product works very well. There's always going to be some sweating with regular deodorants, but this stuff smells fresh the entire day. It's the only deodorant I've tried that doesn't start to smell bad and full of chemicals after a few hours. The powder scent is not my favorite, but it's good enough.

While I find that this does a good job at preventing odor, it doesn't work as well for me at preventing wetness -- and I don't sweat very much. On top of that, it feels a little greasy upon application, and the feeling doesn't seem to fade. I'm also not a fan of the scent -- it's not disgusting, but it smells a bit off to me. It's just not the right product for me, and I won't be buying it again.

This is one of my favorites.
I like the smell, it's so fresh and clean! It lasts all day. I don't sweat that much under my arms but I feel it works. It leaves my skin very soft and "powdery".

only 14% aluminum, so it doesn't do much for my sweaty pits. for someone who doesn't sweat much, i'm sure dove deodorants would work just great, but it's definitely not for me. the scents are all wonderful, of course, but only for an hour or so. then it's sweaty stink city for me!

The one I'm using is the Dove Ultimate-Supreme Beauty Care in Original. I have rather sensitive armpits but they don't react to this product which is good. I don't mind the scent of this deodorant as it's rather refreshing but it also has a bit of a baby powder scent to it which I guess it makes sense since it is basically powder which makes it rather messy when applying. I feel that this deodorant doesn't do much justice for me at all. It doesn't help with odour nor keep me dry and it also leaves a powdery white stain on my clothes esp. my darker clothes. I'll definitely not be purchasing this product again.

Dove Original anti-perspirant is skin care for your underarms!
It does not sting if you apply it immediately after shaving. I actually think it may be evening out my underarm skin. (I'm of Asian extraction and so dark underarms are quite an issue.)
That being said, I don't find its anti-perspirant properties to be too effective in sweltering South African heat.
I usually use this when the temperatures have cooled down (during May and August), or when I'm lazing about at home where there is very little chance I'll be perspiring heavily.
It's fairly inexpensive and lasts for a decent amount of time.
I'll continue to purchase this deodorant.

This is one of my favorite deodorants. It has a fresh, clean scent, not some powdery, flowery or fruity smell. I have used Dove deodorants on and off for several years. I stopped using Dove a few times before because I felt like it didn't keep me dry enough. But now I know that sweating is a natural and good/HEALTHY thing for your body and we shouldn't try to prevent it completely. I have found another product called Thai Crystal Deodorant Spray, which is mineral salts that kill the bacteria that cause odor when you sweat. You will still sweat, but it prevents you from smelling by preventing the bacteria. Anyway, I use a tiny swipe of this over the spray after it has dried to add a little scent because the crystal spray is odorless.

So bottom line, smells lovely, keeps sweat at bay, but not entirely. If you choose to try to combat sweat/moisture entirely, this may not be your product, I would opt for a product like Secret with a higher concentration of antiperspirant ingredients.

This is the only deodorant whose smell I can tolerate. Most of them smell so strange and unpleasant after about 20 minutes that it is worse than sweat!
This one has a clean, simple smell, like fresh linen. It also does not irritate the skin.
On the minus side, you have to let the spray version dry properly, and brush off the excess, or you will end up with white powder on your clothes. It is not the most powerful deodorant out there, but it does the job.
Overall, a good product with a nice smell.

First off, I hated the click packaging because mine jammed up. Also, it did nothing for me. Put it on, went out for 2 hours, armpits already wet. The product also doesn't seem like it really absorbs or anything into my skin. It just sat there and got on my shirt too. Eww.

This smells good but it doesn't prevent sweating. When I start sweating the smell mixed with my sweat just smells like rotten fruits. It's so awful, I regret buying this.

I was using a roll-on by Garnier, but unfortunately it was making my pits itchy and irritated. Was driving me crazy! So I went in search of a cream formula and plumped for this.

It goes on smoothly and I really enjoy the classic Dove scent. Very clean and fresh. It soothes my armpits after shaving and hasn't given me any trouble at all. Would I buy this product again? Yes!

mine is the roll on one, i think its great, i only roll it once on each sside. it smells really good and it dries in just seconds but with a fresh feeling. and this is so much better than my old invisible powder deo, it doesnt stain at all and what the best is that i use this for 10 hrs n i can still smell it (though i have to smell it 5cm from it) but hey it means that it the smell wont go away for a looonnnnggg time:D and i think the package is pretty nice, it is easy to carry and handle. :D so yea i wud buy this again :D:D:D
