I myself have never tried clinque's skin care. I do intend to but I am only 14 and do not have lots of money to spend on products that dont work. I need a reply from a dark skinned, teen, who has had acne since about the age of 11 and gets breakouts on their forehead, cheeks and chin. I also have a kinda oily t zone. please reply. Acne is ruining my life. I need to get rid of it. Thanks so much for the help. Also please do not look at the ratings i gave this product. To put up a review they make me put something. I do not know if my ratings are accurate. I just rated because I had to.

These dots definitely reduced the redness and the big bumps my zits cause! However, the day after, I still could feel the zit underneath the skin (it just wasn't inflamed). My skin where the zit was was also darker than usual so I had to use concealer anyway to cover it up. I felt a lot less self-conscious though. I would use them as an emergency temporary solution if I needed them, but they are too expensive for day-to-day use. I also may have expected too much out of them in that I hoped that my zit would disappear entirely!

This product is amazing!!! My blemishes dramatically cleared up from only wearing it for one night! The redness and thickness were gone. The only problem with this product is where do I find it? Is it being discountinued. Anyone know where to get it? Please help!?

I have tried everything. I have been on Accutane, had cortisone injections and am on birth control pills for acne. It isn't that bad now but I always have at least 2-3 medium pimples (better than the cystic acne I used to have)
I have used prescription stuff and so many over the counter creams for pimples. Only two work - Mario Badesceau (sp?) drying lotion and Pond's Clear Solutions
Don't moisturize near the blemish and it shouldn't slip off at night. I used to cut them into pieces so I didn't waste an entire dot for one night but they often ended up in my hair. Now I cut them in half and it's OK. I would think the entire dot is too big and would dry out skin around the pimple. i love that it's clear. One night, I didn't want to wait to use it and was only staying home with my fiance. I actually washed my face, put the dot on and put concealer OVER the dot and it was invisible!!! Don't worry - i won't wear it outside (but i am tempted)
I used this last night for a nasty pimple (puffy and red). Wore the dot for 12 hours and all the inflammation is gone.
It is really worth a try.

This is the best spot treatment for blemishes. These are clear stickers that you wear overnight. Contains salicylic acid. I like this so much more than Neutrogena's. They are more effective. However, I wish they included more dots. Since it's clear, I would often wear them to the gym!

I have been using these since they hit the market, and they are perfect for spot treatments. These little patches reduce the size and redness of blemishes significantly, and will prevent a blemish from fully forming. They are a little expensive for a drugstore product, but totally worth it. A few warnings: 1. When you purchase these, double check that they are actually in the box! I have purchased at least two empty boxes - I guess they are prime property for acne-prone shoplifters? Hmmm... 2. While they are adhesive, they are prone to "slips" if you toss & turn in your sleep, or have oily skin - I have fished them out of my long hair more times than I care to admit. Highly recommended!

I love these things! They are the only ones that truly reduce the size and redness overnight. It even helps those stubborn ones finally come to the surface....overnight as well. Heaven help me if they ever stop making these things!

I am addicted to these dots. I would sell my own mother up the river for more! LOL. But seriously, these are the only things that I know will work overnight to drastically reduce the size and redness of a blemish overnight, and it can kill one completely in 2 nights. I even have my husband addicted to these now! Very highly recommended.

These things are great! They don't always totally eliminate the zit, but they do what the name says: REDUCE blemishes. The dots usually stay on, just as long as you haven't just put moisturizer on. The greatest thing about them is that since you don't put the treatment over your entire face, its ok to use a higher % of salicylic acid. You get dryness where you need it, not everywhere else. My problem is that I get a little dot-happy when using them, and want to put one on every little blemish. When you do that, you run out quickly and it can get expensive. I'm trying to exercise more control with them, but its tough because they actually DO work. Amazing. The only OTC product to ever do what it says. And ditto on the other wannabes out there. Ponds is the only brand that's worked for me.

These things are awesome! The only overnight cure i've found so far. Don't buy the other ones that Clean & Clear makes, they don't work at all! I tried em and was very disappointed! but these ones, work like a charm!:)

These clear dots are the best on the market - I have used them in over a year and they work. Whenever I see a pimple starting to form, I stick one on over-night. It prevents the pimple for growing bigger/redder. I use it every night until the pimple is gone. The product works best on pimples in their initial growth stages. The results are not as apparent on a full-grown zit or one that's been squeezed and abused. Bottom line: the product works well to reduce and control a budding pimple.

Sometimes these work for me, and sometimes my skin just seems immune. I'll only buy these again if I see them at Big Lots or something like that.

I thought these things were horrible. They did absolutely nothing for my zits. In fact sometimes they were actually redder than when I started. Plus they left a white flaky mess on the spot. Waste of money.

ditto with everything that kirsten said. these things sound too miraculous to actually work, but they do! they're awfully cute too. or maybe that's just me thinking they are, to take away the embarrassment of walking around with a few dots on my face and having my dad ask "what the hell happened to you??". oh well! they work!
