I've used this product for years, and I have to say I'll never turn my back on this product! Where I live this bottle retails for approximately $35 (largest bottle), which is a little pricey but it honestly can last you for a year or more. I completely ignored the instructions on the bottle and I use this product on DRY hair BEFORE straightening, and for me this works the best. In year 8, I use to straighten my hair almost every single day and this product has helped preserve my hair when I was going through my young teenage straightening phase.
If you don't see results whilst following the instructions, try and use it on dry hair instead before straightening :)
Overall I give this product 2 thumbs up!

i use this everytime i put heat on my hair. im one of those "see to believe" people and my hairstylist sprayed this on my arm and put a blowdryer on it. i couldnt feel the heat where this was sprayed! its lightweight and wont make your hair greasy or flat. i love it!

I have very short pixie fine hair and straight hair. I like to style my hair almost like hally berrys short style, it is cute. I never liked products in my hair except a nice hair spray. I needed a lttle something with this short of hair that would not poof my whole head out. This product worked like magic!!! Finally found a product that I can use and
Nice body shine and feels sooo light.
Thank you Paul Mitchell

Not worth the $13 I paid for it. It sprayed on and acted like water to my freshly blow dried hair prior to flat ironing. My hair was flat and lifeless. I also tried spraying it on before blow drying. I blow dry with a large round brush for volume. It prevented any heat styling with my blow dryer. I didn't like it at all.

this does exactly what it says. protects and even gives your hair a bit of volume. im not a fan of the smell. its a mature scent but its not bad. i prefer this regular spray bottle packaging to many other heat protectants like tressemes with the large sprayer. since using paul mitchell products my hair is in such great condition. this is a great company that is vegan and cruelty free.

I liked how this product made my hair softer and saved it from the heat I was putting on it. I did notice an increase in shine and a little body. The thing I didn't like was the smell of it. I shampoo and condition with Regis Cashmere Kera-Forta and it leaves my hair smelling heavenly. I hate spraying this stuff on after, my hair smells like hair spray after using this. It's not a good smell. But it's great for keeping my hair from getting damage in heat. My hair is already fried on the bottom half, and this stuff prevents further damage.

I was given this to try to see if I liked it or not, I have tried it only a couple time. When I did use it I was unsure if the product really worked or if I just didn't get enough on my hair since its thick and course, I used it on dry hair to. When I used my flat iron it kinda made my hair stick together but after I ran my brush though it , it was kinda shiny and soft. Will try and do it right the next time I use it and leave a better review of this product.

My mum bought me this, and I used it for straightening/blow drying. I sprayed a small amount onto damp hair, combed through, blowdried, then straightened.
It makes my hair feels heavy, and sticky, with a matte look. However, if you rub a little talcum powder in, this goes away, and it is amazingly shiny and soft. It leaves grease all over my GHDs, but this is easily washed off.
The smell of this is quite sickly.
It is expensive for the quality.
However, I think that the absolute worse thing about this product is is causes spots! Even if it does not come into contact with my skin, within an hour of using this, I can feel spots starting to appear. I don't even have sensitive skin!

I have fine straight shoulder length hair - bit dry at the ends but overall in average condition.
I've just had it cut into a longish bob so I've started washing and blowdrying it every 2-3 days. I bought this to protect it from the hairdrier and give me a shiny result with volume - as per the blurb on the back.
I spray this as directed - a little into damp hair, I comb through to ensure even coverage then blowdry immediately.
It makes my hair REALLY dry and gives it a matt, static, slightly sticky texture - horrible. No shine at all and all the little dry ends seem to stick out. I have to slather it with serum afterwards to leave the house.
Have stopped using it after only 2 weeks. What a waste!

i love this stuff. i mist it all over my hair when i blow dry and it comes out soo soft and smooth feeling. i but this on each section when i am straightening and it really make my hair smooth. when curling my hair i put this all over my hair then divide my hair in 4 sections. when i am done i have beautiful smooth non frizzy and shiny glamorous curls, some people sasid this product is sticky but i don't think it is. the smell is not that bad . i would defiantly purchase again and again!

I use this product every time I wash my hair! Its one of my absolute favourites!
It does protect the hair very well, and lessens blow dry time too. I use it now even when I don't blowdry/straighten my hair to prevent frizzing.
Also to those who say they are applying it to dry hair, it is NOT to be used on dry hair!! You spray it through damp hair so that it saturates into your hair whilst you dry it!

This product passed the hair dryer test. Compared to the hand with no product, I could hardly feel any heat on the hand saturated with this product. I would give this product all 5 lippies, except for the very important fact that it does not help straighten very well. The first ingredient is water, not good when straightening. My hair looked dull and dry.

Im not completly sold on this product. I tend to straighten my hair quite a bit and needed something to protect against GHD straightners. Although it seems to direct some of the hair away from my hair and it doesnt seem to *fry* as much. However, it doesnt leave a nice sheen to my hair and sometimes I think this product can cause my hair to become greasy quickly. Until I find one thats better than this one I will continue to use. I have tried high street ones but they only left my hair sticky. One plus is that it lasts for ever!!!!

This stuff is poor....Left my hair dry looking, and puffy. Really was hoping to find something to protect my hair from frequent ironing. Any other product would be better, LOL.

this stuff is really good. my hair stylist uses it on dry hair before irons! it does say use on damp but the results aren't as good. use as a heat protection from irons it's better than the product actually made for this job as i tried that and it was terrible ( this was to be spray'd on dry hair b4 irons). i have used heat seal this way for years and it's stopped damage from ghd's.

At first, I thought this would be okay because my hair seemed a bit smoother, without being flat, when I blow dried it this morning. Then, I also flat ironed it (like I do every day). Wow, my hair seemed, well, not so great. Kinda looked fluffy (not in a good way) and then kinda flat and it's just been yuck-feeling today.

My stylist swears by this product so I swore by it too for a time, until I realized my hair really isn't any different without it. My hair's ends get damaged from daily straightening no matter what, easily remedied by a hair cut. And this just doesn't do anything to control my frizz, humidity or not. It smells bad and makes my hands sticky when I straighten my hair. I've gone through many bottles, but won't buy anymore.

I use this teamed up with the Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops and my hair comes up looking so healthy and beautiful. The only problem is I find the spray bottle a bit hard to use, and it's easy to spray too much in one section of hair while missing another section. It's still an excellent product though!

This works very well for my healthy, shoulder-length, slightly fine/wavy hair. Since my hair isn't curly, just wavy, I do not need a lot of product to straighten it. My hair holds up great in high humidity with a couple of squirts of this and leaves it very shiny! I do not think it provides any conditioning so this may not work for dry, frizzy hair. I normally hate sprays and can only use styling products sparingly as they weigh my fine hair down, but I love this!
