I've used this for about a week now. Very average product. When I use it it reminds me of a product made for teens. It's a pretty pink, it's pearly, it smells yummy, it's got some cute strawberry seeds in it (why I do not know, they do nothing, lol) I get the AHA content but it gets washed off, so what is the point? Taking a pass on this one.

Blerrghhh... I bought this at great expense here in Australia and I hated it... It smells very fake plastic strawberries and did very little for me except make me mad when a tiny seed (?) got into my eye..

I dont think its a great product but I do like most of their range...

Gave this one to my teenage sister :)

First off let me say I LOVED this stuff as a preteen (pre-oil, pre-acne, pre-blackheads, you get the picture.) I still love the smell, it's yummy enough to eat. But, if you have oily skin, lots of clogged pores, etc. and need a hardcore exfoliation, this won't do it. The strawberry seeds are somewhat sparse to begin with, and when you rub it on they spread out so you can't target areas like the T-Zone, you just have to glide it across your face. The AHAs also don't seem to do anything, even if I let it sit after massaging it on. It would be GREAT for someone with dry or sensitive skin who just needs mild exfoliation or a gentle, yummy-smelling facial.

someone, please explain why celebs love this stuff? this was another just okay product out of the samples i was sent. i like the idea of using the strawberry seeds as an exfoilator buuut, they were messy. the product smells great, which is nice but i didn't notice that it was really doing anything for my skin.

I am using a sample at the moment but I am liking it quite a bit- I think some of the grainier scrubs were actually aggravating my face/breaking me out
This seems to work and be effective yet be gentle enough not to irritate--still want to try the kiwi too and might not buy for several reasons 1 comes on a tub a definate yuck factor negative better if it was a tube and 2 the price-- but I found it to be a very good scrub over all--didn't find it "mucousy" at all and the seeds I found to be a help to exfoliate they didn't bother my fingers--lol
Just my opinion!

Update I ended up going back to my St Ives mainly for the fact that in the long run it will be less pricey and it does rinse a bit faster and easier this would be more moisturizing for those of you that need this (I don't skin is oily)

My skin did not feel as though it had been exfoliated effectively after using this product. It smells divine, but I also found it messy to use with the strawberry seeds getting stuck in between my fingers. I won't repurchase this product.

This stuff smells so good!!! I have combination skin and too harsh scrubs tend to actually dry out and irritate my skin, so this was actually great. I don't think it's the best or holy grail of all exfoliates, but it does the job for us who only need a bit of scrub. I think it left my skin feeling really soft and silky afterward. I do use Clinique's Exfoliating Scrub for those times when I do need a deeper scrub. But overall I like the strawberry scrub.

The first thing you got to know is that the strawberry seeds are NOT the exfoliation agent.. this scrub contains AHA's, acids that do the exfoliation. My skin is dry and sensitive so I use it 2 nights a week at most. The seeds do not scratch me because I am extremely gentle with my face... I rub a little bit harder in my nose (where I get blackheads sometimes) but not so much it actually hurts me.
The results are great... leaves my skin softer and glowy. It also helps me getting less flakies. I am not sure if I would buy it again because I might find something better along the way but this is overall a nice gentle scrub

Works quite well, which is surprising given that strawberry seeds seem to be the main exfoliating ingredient, and there are not many of them at all. It spreads well and does actually remove dry skin, without being as harsh as a scrub like St Ives Apricot Scrub. It smells divine. My only criticism is that it feels slighltly 'mucousy'. Not a big deal, as it doesn't seem to make it any less effective.

I am a huge Mario Badescu fan. I use them for everything. This is the first product I have used of theirs that I haven't loved. I just don't think it does anything to exfoliate or scrub at all. I much prefer my St. Ives Apricot scrub which costs $4. Love ya Mario, but this scrub isn't cutting it. I won't buy again, nor do I think I will use up the one I have. It'll probably just be tossed.

This scrub might work effectively for those with sensitive skin, but this product did nothing for me. There are not enough seeds to exfoliate anything, and it leaves my skin feeling really greasy. So much so that I feel the need to cleanse my face again afterwards. For those wanting a more effective product, I suggest going with something with smaller, more aggressive granules.

Because I have rosacea and very fragile skin, I never even bother to try manual exfoliants, let alone use one on a regular basis. However, I received this as part of Mario Badescu's generous sample kit, and it smelled soooo good that I just had to give it a try! Although its product description says that it is for all skin types, I found it quite suitable for my sensitive skin - the strawberry seeds it contains are smooth, and its ingredients mild. I found it rinsed quite clean, and I loved the soft feel of my skin afterward. Additionally, the little dry flakes that congregate around my healing blemishes were gone, and my blackheads were definitely diminished. After using up my sample, I will purchase a full-size of this product!

Product description: Made with real Strawberry seeds that gently buff away flaky skin while natural AHA’s breakdown dull build-up to unclog pores. It improves overall texture to the skin by revealing healthy, glowing skin while preventing blackheads.

Ingredients: Deionized Water, Stearic Acid, Strawberry Extract, Seamollient, Propylene Glycol Dipelargonate, Polyglycol Ester, Myristate DEA.

to me, this is one of those "fun" products that you buy not because they're really good at doing whatever, but because they're fun to put on. i didn't think the seeds in it provided any amount of exfoliation...they kept getting stuck in the cracks between my fingers. however, there are aha's in it that might exfoliate, however i'm not sure how much. i really like the texture-i thought it felt really silky and smooth. plus it smells so good! just like strawberries. if you're looking for something to really exfoliate your skin, this is probably not going to do enough. however, i like it because it provides a very gentle exfoiation and it just feels nice to put on. and it leaves my skin feeling so soft!

The thing about MB is their products look so fresh and natural. Even better they make applying the product to the face feel nice. I like the scrub but it wasn't much of a scrub because..uhh..strawberry seeds aren't very effective for getting a deep down clean. The Formula is wayyy to gentle. i didn't feel it doing anything to my face. Because the scrub was kind of thick and greasy/soapy like I supposed it dissolved any extra oil/impurities on my face but again...didn't do anything. It did smell great though and I appreciate the fact that it uses very natural ingredients but some chemicals are good ya know! Sorry MB another way-to-gentle-to-the-point-where-it-does-nothing product!

I think this is a really nice, gentle, everyday scrub for people with sensitive skin. I use this scrub in the winter, when my skin is dry and feels tight and raw. Normally, I go for a more aggressive scrub, but my winter skin needs some babying, and this Strawberry scrub is perfect. It leaves my skin soft, nourished and with a healthy pink glow. It very gently exfoliates away the layer of flakey, dull, winter skin that seems to give my face a lackluster appearance. Plus, it smells like a strawberry smoothie. I still pull out the "big gun" exfoliators once or twice a week, but this scrub is a great everyday scrub.

the picture MUA has up is of the 'enzyme scrub' not the 'stawberry scrub.' i really love MB 'strawberry scrub' and was disappointed to see so many bad reviews here. i love the seeds of stawberry in it, i LOVE the wonderfully sweet smell, i want to eat it. it just makes me happy. i look foward to using it. yes, it is very gentle. it is gentle enough to use everyday. sure, maybe it really doesn't do a whole lot, but i still like it, and MB's product's are sooo inexpensive for a professional spa line. like an product line, some are great, some not so great. i have my favorites with MB for sure and some things don't work at all. oh well.

I found this to be a pretty pointless scrub. It was very thick and greasy, and the seeds were too big and there were too few of them to do any good. It has a lovely smell, but thats not enough for me.

This was recommended to me by the SA. It totally sucks. It is a cold cream base with strawberry seeds in it. It is greasy feeling and the seeds do not do anything. It leaves a residue on my skin. I cannot believe I got suckered into this. I am sticking with my microdermabrasion scrubs.

Smells fantastic, and is very gentle. However, i think it's best for sensitive, non-oily skin types. I have combination skin, so this was not very effective for me.

This scrub smelled great, but that is all. It did not exfoliate my face at all. It is to mild. It also did not rinse clean at all. I would not buy again.
