I was swatching products at the Nars counter in Sephora & stumbled upon this little beauty! The color is nothing special in the jar but applied; it's a gorgeous hi-shine jammy-mauve-berry pink gloss.

This product comes in a 0.14 oz glass pot similar to the Coastal Scents gel liners (imagine a tiny Mac paint pot); which explains the rating of only a #3 in "Packaging Quality". I don't like to fuss with dirty fingers in a product or having to handle lip brushes when I'm "on the go". I would much prefer this color in a tube applicator but because the color is so pretty; I can live with this small drawback.

There is a slight "makeup-ey" smell to it - not vanilla, cake batter, fruity - but rather more "plastic-y". It's not bad or overbearing and you don't smell it on your lips or when applying.

It retails for $24 at Sephora. Although, I'm happy with my purchase and have enjoyed the product, I'm on the hunt to find this color in a different delivery method!

I love the Nars Lip Laquer formula. Thick, gloopy (but not in an annoying way...in a dense color/long lasting way). It's easy to apply- even and smooth. This color is gorg. I wear it alone or over my MAC Up the Amp lipstick. On its own, it's almost like Up the Amp Lite (but more pink, less purple/magenta). It's a pale pink with a little lavender, but it has some edge (which is awesome, bring the sex, Nars). I have this in Eros, too, which is a pretty shimmery rosy shade more appropriate for work and stuff, which is why I reach for it less (a little boring).

For a gloss, this is seriously long lasting. It's more like a liquid lipstick, though. I need to get High Wire next...shocking electric pink ;)
$24 though, oh Nars :(

I am on my second pot of this. I added some SPF to the first and wore it constantly. I have a new pot now, and I just keep coming back to it! Reasons why I love it: It flatters my light olive skin, it makes my teeth look white, and makes my lips look fuller with no fuss with liners or anything else. AND it is as moisturizing as all heck. Yeah, it is sticky, but guess what: Anything that is going to last as long and be as moisturizing is going to be sticky. I also used up a pot of Butterfield which is lovely, but not as lovely to me as Sweet Charity. I think with my light olive tones and absolutely neutral dark blond hair, I find it difficult to find shades that flatter me. Or maybe I am just nuts. ;)

I love this product it really flatters my skin tone and it accentuates my lips even more. The only problem that I have is that it's pricey. But I would definitely repurchase....on Ebay for less. I have a couple of these lacquers in different shades so I still have a lot of this left (and I don't use it everyday either.) Yes, it is sticky but I find that if I put some clear lip gloss as a base first that it's not as sticky so for those of you gals that find it extremely sticky (because it is) try this method it worked for me.

Lovely mauve-ish pink, and yes, as mentioned in a previous review, seems to have a grey cast to it. Shows up a neutral pink on me (LM t/m Sand,MAC C4/Chanel Blanc Essential Powder in Beige Dore). Can't stand the smell though, and I'm not crazy about the pot packaging (although it does look classy).

I originally bought this because someone had posted it on the boards and I thought it was a really nice shade. I'm a huge sucker for lilacs, so when I tested this on my hand at Sephora, I was pleased to see that it was the perfect pigmented lilac shade with a hint of a grey cast to it. Unfortunately, when I actually bought it and tried it on my lips, it was extremely sheer.

Sweet Charity is a really gorgeous colour, but I really do wish the lacquers were more pigmented because I feel like I have to layer it on just to see any of the pigment show up. These are really sheer, but I love the consistency of the lacquers -- not too sticky, but tacky enough to stay on for several hours.

These are pretty pricy at about $28CAD apiece and hardly any pigment. I probably will not repurchase because they're so ridiculously expensive... but maybe I'll try the other shades some day.

While it isn't my fave lip laquer I do like it and find I wear it when I'm going for more of a plummy look. It is mauvey so I can see where it would NOT be flattering for some skin types. Might appear more grey casted. Try before you buy

I was pleasantly surprised by this color. After looking at it on several sites I decided it looked too purple. I swapped for it instead of buying and I really like it. Sweet Charity looks really pretty on my pigmented lips. It actually shows up kind of rosey. Like most of the other Lip Lacquers I would rebuy this. I love the little pots and while others complain about the smell, it really doesn't bother me at all.

I have to say that I'm not a huge fan of NARS lacquers, although I'm drawn to them for some reason. Sweet Charity is pretty-a mauvey pink with a tiny bit of purple, and if there is shimmer, I don't see it. It works well with my NW20, pale, slightly cool skin. However, it looks nearly identical to MAC Sweet Inspiration lipglass, which I like slightly better (although it's LE) because it smells like vanilla rather than slightly plastic-y. It also is a wand gloss rather than a pot, which I like much, much better. I don't have a problem with pots necessarily, but I prefer wands. I do love NARS packaging in general, and you get a generous amount for the price, but I probably wouldn't buy this again.

One of my favorite lip gloss and color !!! I will definately repurchase this! The texture of this is not too oily nor dry.. just right for a sweet, elegantly glossy lip. The color is pink-mauve and it matches extremely well with both colored ( e.g. pink/puple) or smoky (e.g grey) look for me!

LOVE this color!!! I have been searching for a lipstick this color but haven't found one, so I went for the gloss which I usually don't like. This stays on for quite sometime and yes it smells in the pot, but the stink goes away after applying. Love it!

This is my 3rd NARS laquer. Like the others, I love the consistancy and the shine. The pots kind of drive me crazy because I don't have enough lip brushes and lip brushes can be messy. I can see how others didn't like the color. It does have a lot of mauve/lilac in it and than can make people look dead. It looks pretty on me, I am dark haired and dark eyed. I pair this with pink and purple eyeshadow. It is very good for a change but I don't reach for it very often.

This is a really pretty YLBB mauvey shade. It looks very muted on yet seems to brighten up my face. I too don't like the smell but once the gloss is on, I don't notice it anymore.

Finally gave into my lemming and purchased my first lacquer. It looks so pretty in the pot. A shimmery cool lilac. Little did I know that it literally smells like poop. It does have very good lasting power b/c it's very sticky. I find that if I leave the cap off for a while, the smell slowly disappears.

While I love everything about NARS glosses, this color isn't unique enough to justify the price ($20). I don't know why I bought it in the first place--it caught my eye one day while I was at the NARS counter at Saks and I caved in and bought it. It looks very pretty in the pot--a silvery, shimmery, lilac color which looks nice over my Lancome Portelle lip liner (I'm MMM-DDD). Staying power is very good, however the scent of all the lip laquers is really terrible and plastic-y, as many reviewers have already noted.

This is a pinky mauve lipgloss in a pot that has a marvelous moisturizing texture...slightly sticky, but not bad at all. Very sheer and pretty enough for every day wear. The only pain in the ass thing is the pot...I *hate* dipping fingers, and a lipbrush is too much hassle for lazy ol' me. Lasts long enough, but at least my hair doesn't get stuck to my lips! The scent is kind of unpleasant though...very synthetic. I wouldn't buy this again if only because I'd like to try other colors in their line of lip lacquers.

Sweet Charity is *such* a pretty color on me. Just enough color for my light skin and blonde hair. I like the texture and staying power too. The container is also adorable. The smell isn't that great, but I can only smell it in the container. Once I put it on my lips, it's gone! I would definitely buy this again.

So beautiful. This is a sheer nudish mauvy color with a slight hint of shimmer. It looks very natural on me. I have found that the lip laquers have great staying power and go on really smooth. Huge rave!
