It seems people love these or hate them! For me I LOVE them! They are sticky yes but thats why they last so long on your lips!!! I can get a few hours of wear with the mac lipglass while the ds brands barely last 10 mins. There is lots of color too which is great...and many shades :) FYI they are called "TINTED lipglass" so peeps need to stop complaining that they are too opaque...because thats what they are meant for.... TINTED color...they are gloss not lipsticks!!!

I dont think they are that expensive...I can spend 15 dollars buying ds glosses over and over again or I can buy a mac lipglass that will last me for months (still have the one I bought in july 2012!).

Love!

I am not a fan of these lip glosses. I rarely use gloss as it is, but after trying a few of these, I will never buy any more. First of all, these are insanely sticky. Everything sticks to it. Hair, dust, things blowing in the wind. Maybe if you stay inside and never move, they might work for you. Also, these glosses are just that type of gloss that makes my lips flake during the day. Nothing is worse than having to apply glistening goop onto flaky lips. Last but not least, these are over priced. They are truly nothing special. DS glosses are just as good or better. You have to stop and think, "Am I buying makeup for the name, or because it is actually good?"

The worst lipgloss i have tried which is bad seeing as it is the most famous make up brand.
I have tried 4 of these liglosses and all of them have seperated on my lips, by this i mean you can see the line between the ligloss and my real lips and it looks awful
Over sticky.
How can anyone like these? Dont waste your money, you could get 4 lipglosses with better quality in a drugstore.

I love their lipglasses! Colors are great! So what if they're a little sticky, get over it.

I do not like lipglass at all, they are so thick and sticky, everything sticks to it, my hair, fluff etc!! I will never get one of these again!!

For my senior prom, I had my makeup done at the MAC counter and the makeup artist used a light pink shade of Lipglass on me (the name of the color escapes me). At first, all was fine. It was an attractive color, pearly and opaque-looking. She put a very minimal amount on my lips, so I didn't notice the stickiness (until the next time I attempted to apply it. And wow, is it sticky. It probably doubles as wallpaper paste.)

While this is bothersome and makes me not want to buy the product again, there was something else that actually made me HATE this stuff. Do you ever notice, with some lip products, that after awhile you start to get this sticky white film on the inside of your lips, seemingly where the lip gloss/lipstick stops? I'm not sure what it's made of, probably saliva combining with the lip gloss over time. This isn't a problem for some girls, but for me, it certainly used to be. Well Lipglass made this problem ten times worse. Instead of the white film showing up hours after wearing the gloss, it showed up within minutes. And being that the gloss is so sticky, it made the white stuff look that much more disgusting. I had to remove the gloss right before prom and fall back on my Chanel glossimer. Never again.

I ♥ MAC Lipglass! My absolute FAVORITE brand of lipgloss, and I have quite a collection. =D Yes, some of MAC's Lipglasses are sticky, but the stickiness is what helps them adhere to your lips longer. At least I can take a drink with it on and not have it disappear completely like other lipglosses I have used. Also, I find MAC Lipglass to be more opaque than other brands, which is another reason I love it so much. I am not a big fan of lipstick, so having an opaque lipgloss like Lipglass is a happy medium for me. My lips are actually in better condition after my Lipglass wears off (another plus)- AND- it is the ONLY high-end lipgloss I have EVER used that I don't get a bad, allergic reaction from! {YAY!} ---> (Most lipsticks and lipglosses contain lanolin, but MAC's do not! I am highly allergic to lanolin.) So I say, "Sticky, schmicky!" I don't care about the stickiness... as long as it makes my lips look and feel beautiful during and after use... and it does... MAC Lipglass gets a big, thumbs up from me! ♥

I bought a couple lipglass from the Dance Collection,an oyster irridescent one from the regular line. I hate the texture! It's thin, its sticky, and its poorly pigmented. I was expecting a little overglaze on a lipstick, all I got was a cheap,1970ish shine. They went directly to my nieces to play dress up.

I adore MAC Lipglasses. My fav colors so far are Be Seen and Bait (too bad they're both L/E D/C). Personally I love the thickness of these, for the volume they give and the lasting power. It's harder for them to bleed, too. I love most colors, some that don't work for me are still so pretty, and I wish they would. I'm a fan of the scent and that they have NO taste. Lipglasses are a staple in my MU diet, haha.

I love lipglasses. They last a lot longer than most lipglosses and come in a vast array of colors. I wish that the applicators didn't get weird after awhile though.

i bought this in the clear tube and i've had it for a while, not reviewing it because... this is the only lip gloss i know of with this texture and staying power that hasn't been discontinued... and i kinda want to give it a bad review, because i've used better lip glosses (discontinued) that were 3 times cheaper than this product. it's sticky and super glossy, it lasts all day, it gives my lips a super POP when worn over lipstick or stain, and while people have commented on the scent (good or bad), to me, it just smells like lipgloss... it's not even really noticable after a few minutes on my lips.while this gloss is the only one i know of with the perks listed above, my discontinued HG (Max Factor Lip Polish) knocked this product on its pretentious a$$, and i wouldn't repurchase this again. i can't justify paying more than $10 on lip gloss (lipstick, yes. but gloss? hell naw) and i'm on a quest for whichever copycat copied my HG and slapped their label on it.

I have this in Nymphette. It's perfect for days when I don't want to have colour on my lips, but I still want them to look polished and fuller.
On me, Nymphette shows as a very pale beigey pink with golden sparkles, so it doesn't add much colour-wise. It's sticky, but that's why it's so long-lasting. It is moisturizing, and it sorta plumps up your lips.

Lipglass in Taupe Notch. I think they've done a lot to deal with the stickiness of the old Lipglasses. This color is a limited edition and PERFECT for a smokey eye / nude lip combo.

This came in black screw-top. Transparent tube. The texture is sticky n thick. Its great by itself or over subtle lip color or even over lip liner. Feels kind of heavy but u might get used to it. Better blot a bit before you make a move. Hair strands get caught occasionaly. Great for clubbings n light supper but big NO NO for dinner!!

I really like everything about most of these glosses. People complain about the stickiness of the glosses, but that is why they stay in place so well. They have the signature MAC vanilla scent, and they stay in place for hours. I usually have to reapply them twice a day when I wear them. The only cons are when it's windy, and my hair will stick to the gloss. Also, they contains no SPF. I will buy these again, and again! : )

mac lipglasses are wonderful. i know a lot of people complain about the stickiness, but that can easily be combated by applying a lip balm before hand. the lipglasses come in an array of colors (the best i have seen). lipglass has awesome staying power; a little goes a long way. i love the sponge-tip applicator because it allows for a smooth and even application. i will definitely be purchasing more lipglasses in the future; I have amassed 4 so far.

I dont like lipgloss so feel a fool to have purchased upon the SA's persuation. However, it's good as a lip conditioner - fabulous for that purpose in fact. Otherwise too gooy and sticky for my liking.

Yes, they are very sticky but i find that most glosses are. However, these have a staying power which i find rare in any gloss. Most of the colors fade into an even toned pretty stain. My favorites are Lust, Spite, Lovechild, Greed, and VivaGlam. For those of you who want to try something a little less sticky, the lustreglass's are a bit lighter. My favorite is Palatial so far.
