My HG long-lasting day cream. It's 110% moisturizing, even in this harsher-than-ever English Winter. It smells so crisp and summery (another amazing thing in Winter), it lasts all day, the packaging is lovely. It's quite expensive but I never find that a problem if a product lasts so long, and I'm prepared to spend money on very few things and my skin is one of them. My moisturizing match made in heaven!

I really wanted to love this product! The first time I tried it, it was a little tingly on my skin. But I tried to let that go. Then after the next day I started to see little bumps on my skin and redness. I knew that this was the cause! I feel that the lemony scent that it has is also very irritating. I wish I knew what ingredient it is that irritates my skin, but I cant figure it out since this is suppose to be very holistic. Over all it did give some glow to my skin! which was great if i didn't get the redness and spots on my face with it! :( Also, its not that hydrating. IF you have dry skin DONT buy it !
This product is great for people who do NOT have sensitive skin.

this day cream smelled nice, but left my skin feeling incredibly heavy and weighed down. It was rather sticky and once absorbed (finally, it takes so long!) leaves a film on your face that is meant to protect from the sun, irregardless of the fact that it doesn't have an spf at all. I think this is meant for dry skin (i.e not me) and i wouldn't repurchase as it is incredibly expensive for what you get, and is definitely not the right thing for my skin. also, the bottles are so tiny! especially for the price you pay. i'll stick with chanel.

This moisturiser is truly amazing, it has smoothed my whole face in a matter of days and my skin appears healthier, clearer and dare I say, glowing. Its provides the perfect base for foundation on top especially MAC foundations that really tend to drag all the moisture out from my skin. I just wish the tube was much bigger for the price.
This has made me want to try other products in the Hauschka range, will provide updates on those once I've purchased and tried them!

After I used the Regenerating Day Cream and the Regenerating Neck and Décolleté Cream, because I was short with money, I bought the Quince Day Cream (which was half the price) in hope that it will be similar. Not even close.
I am not saying it is not a good product, simply it was not for me. Maybe for young girls with mixes skin.

Good moisturiser for cool weather. I wore this during the warmer months and my skin felt a little sticky- was soo not happy. I put it away and took it out again as its the beginning of winter winter and the sticky texture is gone. My skin feels so hydrated, and looks radiant and even.

Amazing cream! I have dry combination and sensitive skin so I am always looking for a product that would provide enough hydration throughout the day without making me look greasy or cause breakouts. I also work indoors in an air-conditioned environment all day, so it has to keep my skin moisturized throughout the entire time.
This cream is light-weight but intensely moisturizing. I love the texture - not too thick and not too watery, and blends beautifully into the skin. It takes a few minutes to fully sink in, but after it does my skin feels soft and velvety, and most importantly, it stays that way the entire day!! No more dry flakes on my cheeks, and my primer and foundation go on so much better on top of this. Note that I also use 2 different serums underneath this so if you are ONLY relying on this for hydration, it may not be enough if you have extremely dry skin. I also wouldn't recommend this if you have oily skin, the Rose Day Cream may be a better fit.
The price is very reasonable for such a high quality product. The only complain I have is the L'Occitane hand cream-like packaging. It's sanitary but not the easiest to use. I would much prefer a pump bottle. But I'm willing to overlook that and repurchase as long as it continues working for me!

Still on the hunt for a replacement for my (out of stock? being reformulated? discontinued?) Aveda moisturizer, and this is one of the ones that I tried. Purchased in a sample box of Dr. Hauschka products for normal to dry, sensitive skin.
The good:
I didn't have any untoward reactions to it during my roughly 2-week trial period, which is unusual for me.
It smells great. I love the smell of many German and European cosmetics, and this is no exception -- a lovely, organic-smelling, mild citrus.
The texture is nice, light and non-greasy.
I can't remember what the full-size package was like, but I love the hygienic, utilitarian, unfussy paint-style tube the sample's packed in.
The meh:
It doesn't really do anything for my skin at all. The "moisturizing" qualities are mediocre at best, and don't last, and it certainly does nothing against the increasing dryness of early winter, or my incipient age lines.
The verdict:
An inoffensive entrant, but certainly not worth buying again.

Every skincare product I use is from Dr Hauschka except my makeup remover (organic olive oil on a wet cotton pad).
I have tried different moisturizers (the Rose Cream, Rose Cream light, Quince Cream).
Quince Cream is my favourite! It's gentle, smells fantastic (citrusy sweet yummy) and goes INTO skin and doesn't leave that thin layer that goes away with first contact with water.
It really hydrates skin and you can feel what good quality it is. No high end brand can beat this in my opinion. I use it all year around except during the harshest winter months here in Sweden. During that time I need a thicker cream, the Rose Cream.
Quince Cream is also good for blending out foundations. Lasts a while and is well worth the money. I'm a student and don't have that much money to spend on skin care but I can't live without this stuff, Dr Hauschka is the only line of products that keep my skin healthy and glowing.
Got to mention that my boyfriend stays close to my face and wants to smell my cheeks when I use the quince cream. So I guess that's a good thing :)

Very rich face cream geared towards dry skin.
Sinks in quickly, very moisturizing.
High quality item, just not suited to my combo skin type.

This cream is amazing. I was using active moist( dermalogica) for summer and skin smoothing cream for winter. But still especially in winter, I get dry patches around my nose and mouth. So I started to search again at makeupalley. This cream is best I ever seen. But I apply it in a different way. I’m using it for one and a half month and here is my observations:
1)There is no patches at all.
2)I noticed the difference in my skin. Ever since I used the cream, I got no pimples, seriously. This was unexpected. I got clear skin thanks to quince cream.
3)when I get up, I dont have an thick residue. Like I just moisturized my face. So it balances oil production.
4)And the best part is it is very economical in use. Don’t waste money on dermalogica! It is summer, so I wet my hand, put one third of a pea size, and put it on my face. That way I don’t put too much product and feel waxy as others mentioned. However when my boyfriend applied it( without water) he said his skin feels blocked, like can’t breathe( note: he has oily skin and applied full pea size). So, in my opinion, applying it with water is key.
I think when weather turns colder, I'm gonna apply it over moist face ( after bath or cleansing).
I keep my cream in the refrigerator. For better storage of ingredients and I feel more refreshed after applying it.
About the smell, It smells kind of lemons and quince. That is not very common but I enjoy it. It has definitely way better smell than chemical odor of active moist and lavanderish odor of skin smoothing cream which I find very unpleasant.
definitely buy again! This cream does its job! even more

I love the packaging. I know it's not very 'pretty' or anything, but at least it is hygienic! I love the smell of the creme, it's so lovely. It's great my face stays moisturised, without all kinds of chemical nasties! :) Would definitely repurchase!
One con, though! It has no spf... But I use some sunscreen on top of it, when I go out.

I love this facial cream. I have combo skin, dry cheeks and oily t-zone and this works lovely. I am biased though because I love Dr. Hauschka products overall. They do wonders for my skin and have worked best for my skin, better than anything else. I love how this smells. It makes my skin feel hydrated and loved.

I love this product. It is the perfect weight for my skin (not too heavy or too skimpy), it doesn't irritate it at all, it leaves it very soft (even the dry skin patch of skin between my eyebrows), and the tube is quite sanitary. I even like how it smells. I might have to bump up to a heavier weight moisturizer when it gets bitterly cold, or put shea butter as a barrier cream on top of the quince moisturizer, but certainly from summer up to now, this has been my go-to moisturizer.
Edit: I still think this is a good product, but I have started using argan oil which is less expensive and works well.

I like this as a light moisturizer, although I prefer the Rose Day Cream. The Quince cream has a strong scent, though milder than the Moisturizing Day Cream, which I found much too cloying.

I was surprised to like this product.
I tried the Rose Day cream and it didn't help my dry patches, so I didn't think this one would do anything for me. I was wrong -- this product was better for my skin. It absorbed well, and even soothed the dry, flaky areas on my forehead and around my nose.
The main reason why I wouldn't repurchase this is because the price is a bit too high. Although I don't need much for my face (it's quite concentrated), it's still at least $1 a mL.
Also, I've since discovered Aubrey Organics Rosa Mosqueta moisture cream -- it gets rid of my dry patches, smells just as nice and costs only about $20 for 4 oz.

Before I purchased this product, I did a bit of research and came across this brand Dr. Hauschka. It seemed to fit all my requirements; being all natural and quality.
I approached a SA at the Dr Hauschka counter and gave a brief description of what my skin was like (dry combination) and she suggested I try the quince cream. I must admit the product that I wanted to try was the Rejuvenating mask which I heard raved about. (Luckily for me a free sample of that product came with the Quince day cream).
I started to use it and for me this is not a rave product, but my skin has probably benefited from using it in some ways; even though it doesn't feel nice on.
It has kind of sticky film feeling, however it was a very good base to my mineral make up and so far hasn't given much of an oily t-zone during wear- which I despise.
My skin quality has improved since wearing it though, it appears less stressed and blotchy when I have clean bare skin.
So to sum it up in pro and con form:
Cons
Value; very small packaging it has lasted me a couple of months so far but is running out now.
A bit sticky feeling whilst wearing.
Not a holy grail product for me.
Pros
It is meant to be natural so I have experienced overall calmer less blotchy skin.
A little bit goes a long way; I think I maybe using a bit too much so the next purchase hopefully will last longer.
Would I recommend? Hmm maybe not unless the person wants to get away from nasty chemical and into natural skin care. This is not a brand you should frivolously try; it's more a brand you approach when you a making a change of lifestyle.

This cream smells terrible (sort of lemon and it is very persistent) and it does not do anything to moisturise my skin. Pretty inoffensive and not effective. The packaging is handy for travelling purposes, but the product is really not doing anything for me. Why do they put this rubbish on the market?

Well, I used this for about two months over the summer and wasn't impressed with this product. It's not the worst moisturizer ever but it's certainly not the best. The consistency is in between thick and thin/watery, leaning more towards thin and it's not moisturizing by any means. It does, however, manage to make you look oily. I don't think it gave me any blemishes, but it didn't do anything amazing to my skin.

I am a doctor and used to work in plastics. I have studied cosmetics and administer Botox and dermafillers for my friends and family as a hobby. I have reasearched cosmetics extensively and the harsh truth is... there is no such thing as an antiwrinkle cream that works. You are only buying a dream when you spend a fortune on overpriced creams. Serums and certain products can improve the quality of your skin but NOT get rid of wrinkles. For that, you need Botox, fillers or surgery.
So, use a good serum (Dr Sebaghs serums are the best) and then use a basic moisturiser which does exactly that... provide your skin with moisture. This one and the Rose Day Cream are, in my opinion, your best bets. They are inexpensive and extremely high quality.
A final tip... vary the moisturisers you use. Dr Hauschka manufactures several different ones so, find the one you like the most but alternate every so often.
