Love this quad eyeshadows!! Wear them almost everyday they last such a long time. Seem to suit my skin time perfectly although at the end of the day they do fade/wear I sometimes wear an eye primer so that helps them stay alot longer. Would recommend these to everyone such good value.

Love these for a nice wash of subtle colour that blends great and there's so much product, they last forever. I've had this colour set (pictured above) for about 3-4 years and they barely look touched though I use them regularly. Just bought two more sets (in purple tones) as the price has come down and they're a great value.

Love this!! I use it like almost everyday.. on days that i dont know what colour to use, i'll just pick this one. it last a really long time.
maybe if the cubes could stay in the case, that would help, coz it tend to come out of the cases. but then again, that dont matter, its still good to work with.
i put it on at 7 in the morning, and its still there at 7 evening.. by then, i see that it creases slightly, i just use my pinky and giv a swipe along the creased line, and it looks fine again. its good for day, or night (just make it more smokey).
it may be abit pricey but if u were to compare this with the other brands, the high end ones, this is really ok coz it lasts a long time. i've had mine for more than a year, maybe even 2 years? (well, all eyeshadows can last a super long time anyway)
some said that u can use it wet, i dunno, i havent tried yet, but sure will experiment w it now.. ;)
i wana get the other colours too. this has gotta be my fav eyeshadow of late! =D

I love this quad! I match NC 40 in MAC and I’ve been reaching for it every day since I bought it over a month ago. I literally have to remind myself that I have other palettes and shadows. Here’s why:
- The four colours (pale champagne, light gold, taupe and burnt-bronze) all have a slight shimmer when dry and a solid metallic sheen when applied wet. This makes the quad great for a frosty-brown day look and for dramatic shiny eyes in the evening.
- Every colour in here goes well and blends silkily with every other and yet is pretty enough to use on its own. I usually do a plain taupe lid; bronze lids with gold in the centre; and champagne lids with bronze in the corners for the office. I also did a bronze smoky for the night with wet bronze blending upwards into taupe and champagne. You have to try them wet!
- There’s very little fallout with these colours, unless you’re doing a lot of blending. But if you are piling on the colour, there might be some creasing by the end of the day – it’s nothing that can’t be solved with primer. The UDPP is enough.
- The cubes themselves are excellent value for money. There’s tons of product in there – I’ve barely made a dent in ANY of them.
- It’s such clever packaging! Each cube has its own case and lid so you can carry them separately or pick from other shimmer cube quads and build the set you need for the day. I’ve taken off the cube lids, but kept them all closed in the outer box so I don’t have to open each little cube in the mornings.
- My least favourite colour is the champagne – it’s a nice highlighter but too light and cool for the lids. Still it’s a more useful “quad dud” than other palettes I’ve seen.
- A lot of reviewers have recommended using the cubes wet as an eyeliner – it hasn’t worked well for me since they don’t turn out as rich as I’s like. But then I only care for black and navy liners.
- I really wish that TBS made a coral shimmer cube set. It would make my life complete.

LOVE this eyeshadow! I would have given it 5 stars, but the packaging is a bit ridiculous; you have to open the plastic top, then each cube is individually boxed in their own plastic case which you will need to open also. I end up with two, sometimes FOUR lids on my counter at once. So stupid.

But other than the packaging, it's AMAZING! It goes on very easily, and it brightens up your face so wonderfully. I haven't tried it without a primer, because I have oily eyelids... but it seems to stay all day long for me. I have a ton of eyeshadows, and now this one seems to be going on my lids almost every day.

I like this product - i bought it on a whim after moisture got to my other neutral eye shadow palette and rendered it un-usable.

I am happy with all the colours and can easily say i will use them all. They apply nicely - pigment is nothing compared to MAC eye shadows but all the same nicely. The shimmer is pretty and is easily buildable for a night time look.

They defiantly need an eyelid primer as they do tend to slip into the cracks of your eyelid and settle into darker lines without.

The packaging is silly and unpractical but i have to admit it LOOKS cute. Also because there is sooo much product i feel like i will have it for 10years and will not need to repurchase, although I would if it were lost or something.

Over all - nice colours, easy to apply, good price for amount of product, unpractical packaging and primer is an absolute must.

My HG eye shadow!!


I had never used Body Shop makeup before but they have some great deals with sales and the Love Your Body card. I had my eye on this for quite (I'm a sucker for shimmery makeup) a while but was a little put off by the price and finally splashed out and I'm so glad I did. They are actually very good value for money now I've seen how long they last and how good they look.

These little cubes have a wonderful metallic look to them but it's still soft enough to wear during the day (they recommend using some water to get a bolder look). I use them dry though and apply with the Bodyshop's smudger brush.


The lightest colour (Marshmallow) is my favourite and I wear it both alone for a very nude look or as a base / highlighter for the other colours. The darkest two I only use on my crease. I have very fair skin and brown eyes and I think they compliment the colour nicely and subtly. My favourite combination is the two lighter browns (Marshmallow all over and then Honeycomb on my lid) for a very natural look.

I have had these for well over a year and the amount has hardly gone down at all even by using them every other day. I bought a spare to put away for if I ever ran out but I can't see me ever having to open it for about 10 years!)

I have since bought the other cube sets but this is still my HG for day wear.

I bought this product for my 21st Birthday (now 23) the lady at the store I went to used the shimmer cubes to do a smokey eye on me! And I loved it! Since then I have used it more then twice a week, for the last 2 and a half years! it last ages and you can also wet your brush and it makes a nice wet look shadow that lasts for hours! I LOVE IT! Defs worth the price!

LOVE this product. They last forever and you can build them up to your desired intensity. TIP: if you find the colours too sheer, apply them with a damp eyeshadow brush and then they look exactly the same as they do in the pots. Yes, they are a little expensive, but they last a lot longer than other cheaper products so actually work out cheaper in the long run as you don't need to keep repurchasing. If my one ever runs out, I will repurchase.

I bought these about two years ago. I still have so much eyeshadow left. They might look tiny, but they last a really long time. However, I dont like how they go on your eyes, they just dont do it for me. I dont mind using it once in a while but its not something I would purchase again.

I have been eyeing the warm palette for quite a while, but thought nearly 300 SEK was a bit much. However, recently Body Shop here had a buy 2 make-up products, get 20% off deal and so I decided to splurge. I am so glad I did!

I am very pale, with blue/grey eyes and this palette is everything I've ever wished for in the form of eye shadows. In fact, I sort of regret not getting this earlier since then I would have saved a lot on eyeshadows that will now be more or less unused. It has light enough peach/honey colours, that manages to make my eyes pop, but are neutral enough to wear everyday. It also has the deeper golden/bronze and chocolate colours, that quickly transforms the eye into party time.

I find I don't need to wear a primer with these. Though with a primer they are more intense, and are guaranteed to stay on your lid until you wash it off.

The only thing I wish is that Bodyshop offered these as separate cubes, in a wide range of colours from deepest black, to whitest snow. The square cube packaging is just so handy to carry with you, almost like a palette but without being one that I really wish I could combine my own colour combinations.

This definitely is my HG eye shadow. I want to wear it even on home days, since it makes my eyes look so good!

This is OKAY. The shadows are nice colors but I'm not too fond of the texture. They do work though. Just don't expect them to be super-soft and blendable.
The colors are awesome for brown eyes, but they're too shimmery for me.
Repurchasing? neh*

I bought these a while ago...Although the colors were very pretty and shimmery, by the end of the day, i found that the shadow didnt stay on my lids but got all over my skin near my eyes....It also irritated my sensitive eyes. I didnt finish the shadow and will not buy it again.

My sister, Sherry, gave these to me a few years ago, and I finally got around to using them. The colors are beautiful and they compliment each other well. The shadows contain Marula Oil from Namibia which makes lip colors glide on and gives face and eye powders a smooth, hydrating finish. Each color can be used separately or blended together to create different looks. I also like that each color is in a separate cube that way you can carry them together or individually. There is a lot of product packed in to the compact cubes so they will last a looooong time.

I recently purchased these on a whim in the airport. I loved the colors, and the little cubes are adorable. They were a little pricey, but considering the amount of product in the package, I suppose the cost per gram is actually pretty cheap. Unfortunately, these are a pain to deal with. The lighter two, marshmallow and honey, are lovely colors but these do not show up when applied with a brush. If I use my finger they make a nice shimmery wash. The two darker colors, the names escape me, do not apply evenly. They look kind of oily, streaky and not particularly shimmery. I don't think I'll be keeping these.

I'm sorry to break the good streak on this product, but i really don't like it that much.
I find the colours to be... too sheer?
the two lightest colours, when applied, can't even tell it's been applied. It's okay for a sort of neutral, yet smokey eyed look, but they don't work individually. I wish they were more vibrant, and showed up better.

wouldn't buy again, and i find it to be a tad pricey.

I bought this based on the high reviews on MUA.... I have the gold, pink and two chocolate shades
- I like the colours, usually when buying sets I find there is a shade I cannot use, but all four are pretty
- I cannot see myself ever finishing this, it is a lot of pigment for the price, and while the cubes seems small these are deep
- While I do not feel this is an essential product, its a little treat. So if you feel you want a little something extra but can't think of something definitive to buy this is a good purchase with a long shelf life
- I love the packaging, I like the way they are individually packaged, which reduces the chances of accidentally damaging a cube when using another one. Good for travel as well.
- Lastly, while I don't think the staying power is great on its own [I have greasy lids] they do last well when paired with other shadows as a base.

Update: I wrote this two years ago and the cubes still look new despite having been using them regularly. I'm upping this to 5/5 because there is nothing else in my kit I use as much as these shadows, they are really great value and quality IMO.
