The thing I like about this product is that the shadows have a strong opaque-coloured base. When I search for green eyeshadows, the bad ones tend to have green mica particles (aka glitter) as the basis for the green colour, but the powdery base may be a really dull olive or greyish green - so the colour isn't really completely green. It also means that it only appears green in certain angles of the light.
Fortunately, this Rimmel shadow has a pure-green powder base. I prefer the aqua over the olive because, on my own tanned skin, olive doesn't stand out well unless I combine with darker colours to make a smokey eye.
If I were to repurchase this, it would only because of the aqua colour - and actually, that's enough to convince me to buy a second one! I recommend - even if only for the aqua :)

I like the packaging. Usually single shadows come in tall round pots that are 4 times the height of the actual pan. This is nice and flat.

The color is a medium-pigmentation dirty brown-based green. Use alone, it falls right off with almost no color payoff. With a primer (I used a Maybellene Cool Effect pencil), the color stays true and creaseless all day.

I really enjoy this shadow! It's not suuuuper pigmented, but for the price I certainly don't mind building up the color a bit!

Cosmix is a miliarty-esque khaki green, and goes spelendidly with Tony & Tina's herbal eye pencil in olive. I like to apply a bit of Cosmix wet on top of the oliver liner after I've smudged it a bit, adds intensity to both. Pairs well with Cliniques "Foxy" or Sonia Kashuk's "Jonah Brown" shadow for a neat everyday look.

Dirty khaki brown. No lasting power and since this eye shadow is water soluble, it bleed in the humidity and sweat on your face ( you face will always have some humidity on it ). Very crappy product, skip this.

I've just about always had good experiences with Rimmel products, and Cosmix is no exception. It is a very pretty moss-green colored eyeshadow. It seems to stay on my oily eyelids pretty well, which is saying a lot. The only gripe I have is this: I wish the lid had a hinge instead of just popping off. I just know that one of these days, the lid's going to pop off in my purse and everything in there is going to be covered in eyeshadow.

Just as others have said, this is a beautiful deep mossy green with a soft gold sheen. Rimmel's eyeshadow packaging sucks, but for $1.99, who cares? This particular eyeshadow is softer and more pigmented than other Rimmel e/s I've tried. I also love Rising Sun, a warm desert gold that pairs very well with Cosmix.

LOVE the colour.. a deep mossy green with a hint of golden sparkle. It looks a lot nicer on than in the pot. I still haven't decided if I really love it but I'm sure I will be wearing it often! GRAET product for a drug store brand.

i love this color - it is the low end deep mossy green i have been searching for for quite some time now. it's highly pigmented, and i love to use it as a liner or in the crease to compliment another shadow. highly reccommend trying some of these, they are a great drugstore find :)
