I purchased this two weeks ago and what can i say? love. It may be slightly chalky on flaky areas, but it blends in after a while and becomes almost unnoticeable! Non irritating and not drying in the least, which was surprising. It leaves a very matte but somewhat bright/glowy finish initially, but turns a natural semi matte finish after it mixes with the oils on my skin. And this is when i 'pat' it on. Brushing it on leaves a much lighter finish. This powder doesn't look too heavy and it definitely doesn't feel heavy on my skin. It's even lighter than BB's sheer finish imho. It covers redness very slightly so i wouldn't use it for coverage. For that, i'd stick to BB.

The color turns slightly darker on me later in the day, but my foundation could be the culprit to that. Oh also, this doesn't keep me totally matte throughout the day on most days, except when it's cloudy or something (i live in the tropics btw). But i just need to blot lightly once with a tissue in the afternoons and i'm left with a soft, almost dewy / satin finish for the rest of the day. Aaaah... i might try chair ocree next since it's slightly lighter (or less orange) than this. Yeah, abricot looks scary bright orange in the tin but don't worry, it applies very sheerly and will look natural. Suitable for tanned MMMs or ppl who want a natural tanned appearance.

Also, i have no complaints about the tin besides the fact that it's not travel-friendly. Before you open the tin for the first time, pick it up and i tap it firmly on the table top several times, making sure that the tin stays upright. Put it on a clean piece of paper/tissue and open the tin gently. I had some powder spill out the first time, but only a little.. After that, no problems at all. i just keep the tin on my dressing table, so the powder doesn't shift around inside.

UPDATE: using another powder with a better color match now.
