I just wanted to share that Target's brand, up&up, has a knockoff of this product that is pretty fantastic for a reasonable price! It is thick and creamy, with a mild and pleasant almond scent.
My legs are so soft and smooth after I use this stuff. Even when I skip a day or two of shaving, the regrowth on my legs doesn't feel as prickly. This is the best shave cream for my sensitive skin that I have used in 20 years. Give it a shot, you may like it!

Definitely one of the more expensive shaving creams, but it is REALLY REALLY REALLY good. My legs are extremely soft after and soooooo smooth. I have tried every shave cream you can buy for women and this one beats them all. It has an amazing lather, the blade glides over easily and the bottle lasts for a very long time (I shave my legs and armpits every three days).

This is the best shaving cream I have ever used, since first trying it about a year ago I have not had any desire to try anything else. The can is rust proof which is great, and one can lasts me much longer than any other product of this size. A little goes a long way, and I actually have noticed that I shave less often. I bought a pack of 6 on Amazon and it lasted me the whole year. Great product.

Before buying this product,I hated shaving cream. I've tried just about every drugstore brand and they all worked the same: nauseatingly strong scent, too much lather and yet not enough moisture to get a close shave and avoid razor nicks. My skin was frequently in need of heavy slatherings of lotion post shave because the creams were so drying and I couldn't go a day without my legs feeling itchy, dry, and regrowth feeling like a Christmas tree.
I had all about given up using shaving cream and was using cheap/unused hair conditioner to shave my legs (which does work fairly well) when I bought this product on a whim. My first shave with it and I knew it was different than other shaving products.
First off, the canister is great. It claims to be "rust proof" and so far it's lived up to that claim. No rust rings in the shower yet!
The scent of this shave gel is truly light; just enough to give you a hint of it while shaving but then disappears when you're done. It is somewhat vanilla-y, maybe a bit floral. Hard to describe. I could see why it might be polarizing;you either love it or hate it. Personally I love it.
You're not going to get a whole lot of lather in this product; that's probably because it is so moisturizing. A little goes a long way here.
This shave gel gets me a close shave and my legs feel super soft afterward. I rarely nick myself shaving anymore. I hardly need to put on lotion on my legs and they never feel dry, itchy, or tight. I can go a day or two without shaving because my skin is so soft and the regrowth is significantly less "prickly."
I'm on my 3rd or 4th can of this stuff and I don't see myself switching brands anytime soon. So far I've only used it in more humid summer weather, so I'll update the review when winter and dry skin season comes. Until then, this product gets HG status from me!

Great stuff. Really helps protect your skin while shaving, leaves legs soft, and after using it for a while, the hair does seem to come in finer and slower. I like to shave with Intuition now, though, so I don't use this that often. But before I started using Intuition, I used to use this almost exclusively.

This stuff smells like Play-Doh and shoots out of the can like Silly String. Did nothing more for me than regular shave gel.

This works quite well. I usually only use the intuition razors because I get a very close shave and almost never get razor burn but that stuff is to expensive to keep buying on the regular so I got a gilette razor and this stuff and I've only gotten razor burn once in 2 months so that's pretty good. Lasted me 2 months and I shave every other day.

LOVE. I have used skintimate since I first started to shave- this is better. It is so gentle and the smoothest shave ever. I have actually started shaving more because I love using this product!

Great shave gel. It's much thicker and richer then other shave gels...so I get no nicks or shave burns when using this. And like some other reviewers I can get away with shaving every second or third day. For some reason I get slower hair regrowth using this. My local drug store does not stock this product, so I have to drive 20 minutes out of town to buy. That tells you how much I love this shave gel. I've tried SKintastic in a pinch, but it does not compare in the least.

I love this shave gel & the only reason I decided to try this product out is b/c my boyfriend's sister uses it & I think she's a pretty awesome girl lol! But to start, I am a shave everyday kind of girl ...sadly. If I want smooth legs everyday ... then I Have to shave everyday or else my legs get spiky. While shopping, the one thing that attracted me to this over the Therapeutic shave gel was that it said it'll help you shave less often. This is 100% true! I bought this a few days ago tried it out immediately and I'm just now starting to feel prickly legs, three days later. I'm not sure how other people are, but that is Awesome for me! So just imagine if you are a shave every 3 days kind of girl what kind of results you cold get. On top of that ... it has a great, very light scent and gives a really close shave, better than any other shaving cream I've used. I am 100% sold and will never buy anything else unless, the price isn't very steep at all and the packaging is rust free! Just a perfect product that does what it says it'll do!

Great shaving gel/foam. The best one I have ever used in my entire life. It has a slight oatmeal scent to it, very soothing. The bootle is rust-proof which is great for people who want to keep the bottle in the shower. HOWEVER, my problem with this product is the packaging/the spray cap. It's a funky design, not a regular spray cap and when you use the product for the first time, it releases too much product. It shoots out! Also when you're running out of this, the spraying cap starts to work very very slowly. So you end up trashing the can while you know there is still some product in it. :( So even tho I love this, I'm not sure if I'm gonna be repurchasing this again...

This is a great shave gel. It provides a really smooth shave, and does not have an overwhelmingly strong scent. It does cost a little more than Skintimate, though. My biggest problem is with the packaging -- depressing the button discharges too much product, even when I try to press it as gently as possible.

I'm already on my second can. I've used skintimate before and even shave gels for men, lol. This one is the best thus far. It just feels so nice on my legs and my legs look very smooth afterwards.
I only shave once a week, seriously xD so the can lasts me for quite a while and I like that I can keep it in the shower without it getting nasty.

Great shave gel. The smell is very mild, which is good because I have sensitive skin and tend to get bumps from shaving. This product definitely reduced the amount of bumps from shaving and gives me a really close shave too.

Aveeno Positively Smooth shaving gel (7 oz and $3.99 to $4.99 usd) is a foamy, creamy, moisturizing gel. It comes in a new and redesigned package that prevents rust when comes in contacts with water exposure. It has a subtle fresh soy scent is soothing. When the products comes out, it forms a gel that turn into a big fluffy foam. The most amazing part of Aveeno shaving cream is that it provides a HUGE foam that is creamy and moisturizing. One pump provides a shaving for the both arms and legs. So, Aveeno shaving cream should lasts about 4 months with a regular shave. In addition, it prevents razor burns and gives a very close shave. I guess that is why this product is so popular with many people because it is affordable and it really does WORKS!

I had such high hopes after hearing so many good things about this product. I'm often a soap-and-water shave girl, sometimes splurging on CVS gel, and I always go too long before changing my razor. And I've never in my life had any problems with ingrowns, bumps, or irritation.
This product destroyed my legs -- utterly. Did it work? Absolutely - in most places it's taken weeks for my hair to grow back--in patches. But where/when it has come in has been marred by awful, intensely itching bright red bumps (and in some cases blossoms of eczema.) It will be weeks until I can show my legs again, and that's the best case scenario (hoping to god PC AHA lotion takes away any scarring). I used this shave gel exactly once -- and that's all I will ever it use it.

How did I not discover this product until recently? It is amazing! I am definitely switching from Skintimate to Aveeno from now on. It leaves the skin "positively smooth" for days! No nicks, no bumps, just silky skin.

I have been using this product for years - I never get nicks when I use it, and my skin always looks and feels so fresh afterwards. It's a little pricier than lines like Gillette, but it doesn't have the harsh scent that comes with those lines, and for me who was super-sensitive skin, it's great to not get a rash 10 minutes after I finish shaving. Worth the cost for sure.
