Wouldn't buy this colour again that's for sure. It's so misleading! I just opened Shimmer Mauve, all excited to try it. It is currently on the back of my hand, and on my lips. As soon as I put it on I saw it clashed with my skin tone. Wha? Mauves don't clash with me! I wasn't thrilled with the brick look on my lips - too harsh. I put on my mauvey lipstick (Lise Watier Rouge Sublime in Belle - GORGEOUS colour - see in my pictures). I was just in the bathroom and looking at the colour on the back of my hand and I swear it's orange brown. I'm a cool winter, this is not my colour. I didn't buy orange brown, but that's what I got. Shimmer? I don't see it. Mauve? I don't see it. I posted a picture of it - it's a bit blurry but you can clearly see the liner totally clashes withe the lipstick. Sorry Avon, you got this so wrong. Additional rant: I put this crap on, sat down to write my rant, got up to try my next big disappointment from Avon, the Glimmerstick for lips in Mystery Mauve (see my rant there too), and figured I'd have to wipe off the first application before trying the Glimmerstick and was amazed to see that not one single trace of it was on my lips....so it's not only wrong, it's worthless.

Everything a lip liner should be and very affordable.
High quality.
I chose a nude color, and it blends so well, with great staying power. I also adore their Ultra Luxury Brow Liner.

I got this lip liner in wild berry. It looks much darker on the lips than the swatch color on the tip of the pencil. Pros: Highly pigmented, stays on a long time, pretty color, and cheap. Cons: Extremely drying.

Bought this in Rosebud. The color is pretty.A pinky-berry color. It doesn't really help lipstick stay and the formula is SO drying that it tugs on the lips and makes the lipstick skip.

Got Shimmer Mauve--a very pretty slightly shimmery medium pink-brown mauve. Great on its own with gloss and also with medium pink or mauvy lippies.

I bougth this in neutral and I love it! It is very creamy and looks natural, will making my lips appear fuller. It can smudge if applied in a hurry. My pencil has lasted me a very long time and I rarely have to sharpen it.

I purchased this lip liner in neutral and rosebud. I caught it on sale for $1.89. The pencil flows so smoothly and the pencil is not mushy at all like some drugstore brands. The liner also lasted at least 5 hours and through a meal. I was very impressed because my previous liners never lasted through a meal.
I love neutral. It goes well with my skin tone and the everyday lipstick colors I usually wear, which is mauve and brown shades.
The rosebud shade turned out a little too rosy/pink for me. It's a darker shade and is more prominent as a liner, while neutral blends easily into my lipstick.

I have this in neutral and the color really is very neutral. It's medium brown with rose mixed in and the slightest touch of orange. Topped with gloss, it's perfection.
Edit: I liked the neutral color so much that I decided to take a chance on shimmer mauve. It's a very metallic plummy brown color that looks awful on my NC 35 skin. The texture is also drier than that of the neutral. Will not repurchase in this color.

These are a great buy. Color selection is good. They are creamy so you can draw a good line but firm enough that they don't crumble. I have them in Neutral and Baby Pink. Neutral goes great with my fair skin. They last a decent amount of time and are always on sale.

First off......... let me tell you that I have probably tried every lip liner by every company out there from high end to the very cheapest and these are THE BEST! Now..... I will say, that the Neutral, which I had not planned to keep ( because, it does have a tad of orange in it, which for my pale skin with blue-red undertones is a NO NO) but ended up using so much of it- while waiting for the shimmer mauve and baby pink-that I am keeping it after all. The rosebud is also, very nice and I would probably buy that shade again. But..... I will be receiving the baby pink and the shimmer mauve ones tonight and shall reveiew them in the next few weeks. Ladies, these are a great value. They are very long, just hard enough that they do not crumble, and just go on really smooth. My only complaint is that the caps crack, because of the cheap plastic and the bar code is stuck on, as well as the ingredient list, so that you must remove them in order to sharpen the thing. But alas!!! Whoever thought that of of my late Granny's favorite brands ( she also loved Estee Lauder) would be a holy grail for this almost 53 years young woman!!!! And I am getting BETTER, not older!! Try these!!!! I got mine for $2!!!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UPDATE: I love the shimmer mauve-returning the baby pink.

I have this in "Neutral" which is a warm pinky-brown nude color. For me it's the perfect shade as it's not light enough to wash me out, but not too dark for my very fair complexion. It does have some orange tones so I wouldn't recommend it if you tend to suit cooler shades. I wear it as a liner with my Clinique Tenderheart lipstick, or color in my lips completely and wear it under a sheer gloss or balm. I'm not a lipliner fan in general but I really like this one.

I have this pencil in "Rosebud" and "Wild Berry." At least in my opinion, they're nice, but nothing to get excited about. They seem a little hard, with a slight tendency to crumble, and the color payoff isn't top-notch.
"Rosebud" is a nice, versatile rose/mauve, with no discernable shimmer. It goes great with my MAC "Lovemate" lipstick, which for me is a great thing.
"Berry" goes with deeper plum/berry shades. They're both nice pencils.
I got them on sale, for about $2.00 each. I probably won't buy them again, at the regular price. I'd like to try someone else's.

Wow, blew me off. Glides on lip, lovely color in Rosebud, thanks to previous MUAer's recommendation. Goes with Mark's Baby bottom lip stick. I like it for the price!

Although I'm hooked on high-dollar products, this very inexpensive lipliner in ROSEBUD is my must-have lipliner. It goes with any lip color in the pink/mauve/rose family and wears like a dream with a perfect consistency. I don't know how I first discovered it, but have used it for about 5 years and probably have around 15 of them floating around my house, office, car, purses. It's safe to say I'm never without one, even when I'm carring a Chanel or Dior lippie. Give it a try, you'll be surprised!

I've never been a fan of lip liner, until now. I got this in Shimmer Mauve, on sale! It was very easy to apply and it didn't pull at all. This goes good under a lot of my lip glosses. I will definately repurchase and I will probably get more colors.

I have these in Nude and Baby Pink, and very disappointed with both. Nude has a strange brown-orange tint to it, and Baby Pink (which I figured would be their shade that blends into natural lips), was far too bright, and once again, had an orange tint. They both go on thick and waxy.... There is no way someone would mistake them for being part of my natural lips!

I have this in Nude and the name is a perfect description of this shade. Although, it is too light for my taste, I wear this with my clear lipgloss and it works out okay.
