I like about anything and everything BBW. I was surprised when i discovered this is the only scent i hate. It's overly sweet and, in my opinion, the florals are too strong. I love the perfume packaging, but it really isnt worth it. It is sickly-sweet and doesnt give me a headache, but i would have one as long as i don't have to smell it.

This crap. Phew! Everyone wore this in 7th and 8th grade, and it's sickeningly sweet and cloying. Would never purchase, and don't want to smell it on anyone!

Strange, what is said in the negative posts is how I feel about 75% of BBW scents, but I like Sweat Pea. I don't find it too strong or synthetic. It is on the sweet side but not overly so. I layer the body wash, body butter and body spray and, honestly, do not feel like it's overkill. I'd buy again.

My roommate in my freshman year of college wore this. She had long blonde hair and wide blue eyes and a boyfriend twice her size who played football. She was exactly the girl I'd wanted to be when I was in high school. Of course she wore Sweet Pea. It made her smell like a flower - sweet and coquettish and utterly, utterly feminine.

Once I popped off the lid, meaning to sneak a spray. I didn't get any further. It smelled saccharine and cheap, young as a middleschooler's first perfume.

Some girls, I guess.

This is a sickly sweet scent. A friend came over for visit and brought a little basket with several products on this scent. It is not distinctive, smells generic sweet and too fake -a but plastic even. The packaging is OK, nothing great but not horrible either. I think this might be OK if you're very young and still experimenting with products, but I doubt perfume aficionados will enjoy this.

I am not a B&BW fan in general-- I find their scents synthetic, simplistic, chemical-laden, and one-dimensional. But Sweet Pea crosses the line into truly offensive, to my nose. It's air freshener for humans, with all the subtlety and elegance of a can of Glade! If you've ever tried Sweet Honesty by Avon, this is that but worse. My dad's second wife wore this stuff and everywhere she went, a cloud of superimposed Sweet Pea followed, stinging my nose and turning my stomach. The scent just doesn't mingle well with body chemistry, IMO.

my friend gave me a little gift set one time with a small bottle of fragrance, shower gel and lotion. Sweet pea is her favourite scent and she is very much into foody/very sweet scents. I, on the other hand am not a fan of this scent! it is very strong and sickly sweet. I'm not sure how long this stuff lasts but it definetly starts out VERY STRONG. a little goes a long way! the fragrance was just body mist, the shower gel was shower gel (not foamy) and i never really tried the lotion as i can't stand the smell, so i'm not sure how moisturizing it is. anyways, there are many different scents at b&bw to smell and i'm sure you can find one you'll like :). My favourite is Twilight Woods

I think it's best for younger people in their teens and early 20's. It's floral, but not your great great grandmother's overwhelming lavender and musk perfume. It's light, fresh, floral, fruity, and a little sweet. Perfect for spring. One of my favorite classics from BBW.

A cousin who knew I liked B&BW bought me the entire range of Sweet Pea a few years ago - and I mean every single product in the store that had this fragrance.

And I positively loathe this range.

Sweet Pea is not appealing in any of its avatars, least of all the body splash or perfume. Redefines "sickly sweet" - cloying, even suffocating. And oh yeah, overdone! Everyone around me seemed to be using it. I much prefer light, fresh fragrances to sweet, floral ones so perhaps that explains my aversion to it - but it may be a tad much even for those who like floral scents.

Will not repurchase. With fragrances like cotton blossom, fresh apple and toasted hazelnut, not to mention amber romance, in the B&BW store, I'm at a loss to understand why Sweet Pea has been such a massive success.

I have just rediscovered Sweet Pea. What a sweet and delightful floral. I can see how it may be too strong for some - Sweet Pea is not a faint fragrance. An application of lotion and mist lasts for about 5 hours - after that I have to reapply in order to get the fragrance back.

I love Sweet Pea from B&BW! I definitely enjoy the body butter, sanitizer, soap, lotions, etc. I will always buy from the Sweet Pea line because it has a nice floral sweet scent to it:)

To me of the Sweet Pea scent from B&BW is a little too candied/sweet for my taste, but the top notes are pleasing.... initially. This fragrance also has a really faint, weird, stinky undertone. Like flowers gone bad. Again, very faint, but very there. Almost like standing near a garbage can AND a garden at the same time. I don't know what it is! It really sneaks up on me. I got a Sweet Pea scentportable for christmas and it had the same effect on my car. My reaction was as follows: "Oooh it smells nice in here... wait... did somebody leave like, food under one of the seats?"
The signature collection shampoo and body wash are the only Sweet Pea products that I can't smell the weird undertone in. In a way, I'm kind of glad I don't like because, as many reviewers have said, it's too easy to recognize and too common.

I actually really like this scent. It smells sweet and floraly. Whenever I smell it, it reminds me of Christmas...(Probably because I got the body lotion as a Christmas present last year xD) I don't know why people complain about how it smells, because I think it smells sooooo good. Haha, but that's just my opinion.

My sister used to swear by this line of fragrance. Yuck, I hate it! Smells like "old lady",if such a scent exists.

I was given this scent as a set for Christmas. I'm going to have to return it because unfortunately, I'm allergic to this stuff. I first discovered it about 3 years ago- a friend of mine douses herself with the spray and I couldn't stop sneezing around her. I actually started to feel irked about being around her because my nose would drive me crazy. One time, she sprayed it on her while we were in the car because we were in a hurry- my eyes started turn red and I sneezed about 30 times in 10 minutes- my eyes were watering so badly that it looked like I was crying. Needless to say, I'm a little miffed whenever anyone gets me anything BBW related like a gift card- because I can't even go into that store.

I should probably preface this with saying that I usually LOVE Bath and Body Works scents. Seriously. So when my friend was raving about Sweet Pea, I gave it a go. I kind of regret it, haha.

I bought the body butter because it was on sale. A quick whiff in the store, and it was smelling pretty good so I bought it and went on my way.

Now I'm home and I can't stand it. The smell is like an almost oversweetened, rancid, floral. It smells like the sort of light floral scent that a grandma puts on that only smells good on THEM.

Oh well, I'll give it to my friend. I don't know how people think this smells good.

I have Sweet Pea in a spray form that I use at work. It's a bit too sweet for my liking that I only use it when there aren't as many people around so that I don't suffocate them with the sweet smell.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the smell. It used to be all I used in the scent department, but since my fiance works at a place that makes bath and body works and victoria's secret stuff, I have a cabinet full of different scents. I don't find myself reaching for sweet pea as much anymore, but it's definately in my top 3 favs of all time.
