As always, Lorac has such pretty shades of blushes and this one is one of the prettiest ever. It leave a natural looking flush with a tad of shimmer, which lights up my face like no other. I just wished that they were a bit larger so that I wouldn't run out so fast, hence the limited score. I don't think that Lorac gets enough credit as this line represents to me, a more natural look in their cosmetics. I always have my croc palette, soul blush and a few other palettes on hand in my traincase.

I like the color of Soul - I chose it for that reason plus great reviews on MUA AND it was part of a really nice set of products that I wanted to try. (Sephora). The blush dropped - not on a hard surface yet the entire compressed blush disintegrated into powder - no chunks - just fell completely apart into a zillion particles - You couuld say it's more like a mineral blush now which for me is harder to work with. I was surprised at how completely it fell to pieces.. I've dropped blushers in my years but this was unusual.

I must say that the pictures up here are very inaccurate to how this blush actually looks. Its a beautiful nude pinky brown shade. This blush is almost pigmented to a fault, its very easy to overdo it so certainly use a light hand. The screw on lid is annoying as heck but otherwise I love the unique color. I'll probably end up depotting it anyway.

Pros: Color would be wearable on most skin tones, I think. It doesn't really look the same on as it does in the pot; I have never had a blush quite like it, so I can't list any dupes, but it is the kind of shade you can use for that not-quite-blush-not-quite-bronzer face contouring look that seems very sought-after these days, maybe similar to Kim Kardashian's, at risk of scaring folks away. Slight shimmer, but not over the top. It is very small, not a chunky, noticeable glitter like NARS or some other highly pigmented brands. I typically get matte blush and like this one a lot. Packaging is simple, attractive and functional - twist off top with a clear window on the cap to show the color off. Seems to last a pretty long time on my skin.
Cons: Only that it is so densely pigmented I find it a little difficult to apply sometimes; I have very fair skin and have to barely tap my brush onto the pan or I get way too much product. For this reason, I really prefer blushes to actually not be quite as pigmented...easier to apply and build the depth you want without accidentally making one cheek too dark and having to start over. So use with caution your first few times.
I got this in the $39 Close Up set (includes this, a nice pink-nude gloss, an amazing liquid eyeliner pen, a beautiful eyeshadow trio and a really terrible mascara) so I think the price is absolutely amazing. The blush is $20 outside of the set, so I'd really recommend the set to any of those reading this when it's still available. However, if this is a color you need, $20 is still fairly reasonable considering how pigmented it is - I can't even imagine how long this would last me even with regular use since it takes SO little product to get a bold effect.

This may be a discontinued color, but I have this in Earth. I love it. I love the color, but I also love the blush. I use it as a blush when I tan, and it works nicely. I can blend it or layer it with other colors without it looking heavy or chalky. I contour my nose and under my chin with it to make my features appear sharper. I use it as eyeshadow sometimes, in the crease, and it looks very natural. I even used it a few times to enhance the color of my nipples when I was feeling saucy, and it looked pretty natural there too. TMI? Probably, but it proves my point about versatility.

I have to agree with others that you should not dismiss this blush just for the uninteresting color it looks like. It is the just flushed, kiss of supernatural rosy blush that you might be looking for. It lasts all day, is highly pigmented, and is so natural. Love this and I am very fair it is hard to find decent blush that doesn't look natural for me. LOVE! My very top pick for my favorite blush in my drawer..

I love this blush! It's really pigmented; I like a really subtle glow so I only use a little bit, but the color is really build-able and suitable for day or night. It's a beautiful shade and the quality of the product is awesome. It lasts as long as I want it to and applies like a dream! Great product!

This blush goes on very natural and very pigmented. I find that I have to be very ginger when applying bc it's too easy to over apply. But once you get the perfect shade you want, it goes on very beautifully and very naturally. It's on a darker peachy tan pink shade. Absolutely gorgeous. I use this for work whenever I don't want a highlighter on my cheeks (Nars Orgasm blush). This blush comes out matte, easy to blend.
Overall, this is a great product. I got this for a steal from the Red Carpet kit.

PROS: VERY smooth consistency and easy to blend. Quite pigmented. This is an okay nighttime color for my N15 (leaning to NC) skin. It's got a very slight shimmer.
CONS: I'm not crazy about the screw on lid. This is just a little muddy on my neutral/warm skin.
APPLICATION TIPS: I like to either save this for night (it's a little too brown for my taste/coloring - goes muddy on me) or use it as a bronzer under cheekbones when I combine it with Smashbox's Bronze Lights in "Suntan."
ALTERNATES: If you need something much more pigmented, but still blendable, try Bobbi Brown's blushes.
****The one picture says this is matte, and it isn't. It's got a slight slimmer.****

I absolutely love this blush - and I have tons of blush so that's saying a lot. This is such a beautiful, natural color - I know it looks plain in the pan but it does something amazing on your face. I am pale and freckled, so wasn't sure this would work for me, but it gives a beautiful glow to my face. I think you could wear this with just about any other colors - bold or natural - and it would be a perfect complement. This is my new favorite travel companion, because it makes me look perfectly polished in a second!

I have medium skin tone, with yellow/olive undertones. I would describe this blush as a tan rose color. It applies with a matte finish. it has very good pigmentation.
This is my favorite blush of all time, I wear it almost every day. It's the perfect, natural-looking flush for my skin tone.

This blush is a staple in my beauty regiment. It was one of the first blushes I tried at sephora and will be one I will repurchase over and over again; I even have backups! The color on my skin gives a natural blushed appearance and highlights cheekbones effortlessly. The color pay off is amazing on this product last all day (no reapplication needed here). The natural warmth it gives to my face is amazing, and I have tried a lot of other blushes and I have to force myself to use anything other than this one; its that good! The price is a little steep, $20 at Sephora, but it will last a very long time!

BEAUTIFUL & PERFECT! The color of this blush is exactly what I was looking for for winter. I have extremely fair skin and when I swatched this at sephora I was sold..then I saw they had it in LORAC's real life to red carpet kit and it was a full size! When I tried this on my cheeks at home I was shocked at how pigmented it was, I initially just touched it lightly and it gave me too much pigment that I had to blend out..but when I did it was so beautiful and has a gorgeous sheen to it. It makes you look like you have a natural dusty rose glow.

I absolutely love this blush! It has a nice shimmer to it and is not too dark for my pale complexion, which I find perfect to use during the winter season. It lasts and gives my face a nice glow :]

This blush is a hard one to describe and I actually didn't like it immediately. I know it looks looks scary brown in the pan, but amazingly, it turns into a lovely, dusty pink on my NC25 skin. I didn't believe the other reviewers here until I tried it myself, but it really does look SO natural and beautiful in a I-don't-look-like-I-have-makeup-on sort of way.
I always find myself reaching for this color when I don't know what else to wear because I know that it will always make me look pretty no matter what the rest of my outfit or makeup looks like. It's great for work because it's not shimmery but isn't dead!matte as some blushes can be. Also, like all LORAC powder blushes, it goes on like silk, is extremely pigmented (be careful not to use too much!), doesn't seem to oxidize over time and has great staying power.
EDIT: This does seem to be more of a fall / winter color for me. I'm not big on matte blushes in the summer / spring because I like wearing shimmery peach or coral blushes during those seasons.

Agreed with the other reviewers here, that this is the most natural wearing blush that can give me a warm glow and color closest to my natural blush. The color looks very dull from the pan, which I'll never pick it up, not even for sampling, if not for the rave reviews here. I tried it last night at Sephora and oh my the color totally transformed once I put it on my cheeks! It is a subtle and very natural warm color that's perfect for everyday look. This morning I picked up my Croc Pallet and so glad this blush is part of the collection. I dusted it on my cheeks a few times but the colors showed up way too intense. I guess the color is very pigmented but shows up so dull at the pan so I was fooled by it. So I wiped away the powder a bit and there I was, the most natural and elegant cheek color I've ever created. Thank you Lorac and I'll be trying your other products I am sure!

This is the blush color in the Croc palette. The Croc palette, as another reviewer pointed out, is $36 v. $19 for this blush, so if you are interested in any of the other colors in the palette, that would be the better buy. Another thing about the palette is that the shadows are square instead of round and they are the same size as Trish McEvoy shadows (and the blush is the same size as a Trish blush) so you can depot the colors in the palette and fit them easily into a Trish compact or planner or any other empty compact of the same size.
This blush is GORGEOUS. It just gives a really beautiful, warm glow. It is ultra pigmented so I use a very light hand and the result is a warm, natural look that lasts all day.

The only blush that gives me a beautiful glow without the need of a separate highlighter of some kind. The dusty rose shade is extremely wearable and highly sophisticated. The first time I swiped a brush over Soul, I was amazed at the silkiness and how easy the powder picked up on my blush brush. Just an overall amazing blush. I use Bobbi Brown, Trish McEvoy, Nars and Lancome but give Soul first place out of all of these.

Throw out all your beliefs in color. This is an amazing blush. I bought it due to reviews on it. In the pan it is the most dull, brown/gray color. Visually disapointing but as soon as you sweep it on WOW. Beautiful. I can't figure out how such an unremarkable looking color has such payoff. It gives you cheekbones, and the apples turn a nice warm flush and the more you use the deeper the rich tones. It will be a summer staple and I will repurchase. Update: I have used this everyday and love it. It adds heat/warmth to the face. I use Lorac blush in PINK on the apples after application and it looks great.

If you're looking for that perfect blush that will light up your face but still look natural, your search is over. I imagine this to be universally flattering on all skin tones. The color, however, is so unremarkable in the pan that I literally had it sitting around brand new and unused for 3 months because I figured it would be exactly like MAC's mocha blush. It's funny how both look like generic dusty rose colors but are so SO different once on. Lorac soul turns into an amazing burnished rose color with very subtle peach tones that really lights up your skin. Very natural, but not in that way where people say "it's exactly the color of your skin flushed!"... which I personally don't even want. As gossmakeupartist says, rosacea is natural, but people don't try to look like they have that on their cheeks. This is just a beautiful color that looks great on the skin! I noticed I haven't picked up or even thought about buying another blush since I first tried this... which IMO is the true test of time.
