I am a dedicated Lancome foundation user, but i refrain often from spending money on Lancome skin care.

My skin had been falling apart slowly over the year - rough patches on the sides of my mouth and nose, even my forehead, yet oily and scaly on my nose and temples - awful.

In the store, after buying foundation again, I was 10$ away from getting another Lancome bonus, so I figured, why not?
I was very pleased with the masque - it had a very pleasant texture and scent, went on smoothly and absorbed deeply into the skin. When I washed it off (you can also cotton it off) my skin was baby smooth.

For the first week, i put it on nightly, eventually leaving it on overnight as a barrier and washing it off the next day. I didn't break out once, and combined with the free serum samples from Lancome, my skin was transformed.

I don't know if any masque will do this, and if my skin would have responded to any masque, but the ingredients in the product are sound.

I purchased this product a while back and used it once and placed it in a box in my closet and forgot about it. Recently I noticed a dry patch on my face on my check. I pulled this out and have been using it daily, in the morning, for about a week. My face looks great and feels soft.

This is my favourite hydrating mask. It feels cool and refreshing on the skin. It leaves my skin feeling soft and quenched with moisture. Sometimes I tissue it off and other times I rinse with warm water (depending on time or mood)

So i've only used this product once, and it's amazing! I think the trick is in the way you use it. The instruction says to wipe off the RESIDUE, because the layer that's left on your skin will hydrate it over night, which brings me to my next point.. use it at night only! And don't wash it off, which is probably why this hasn't worked for some people. This is not the kind of product you use with make up. I woke up in the morning with the most even skin and pores really tightened. I only have a sample, but I'll be purchasing.

I am giving this favorable review for the Lancome Hydra Intense Masque Source Hydratant aux Capteurs d'Eau Naturels, which is made in France. The American-Made product has a slightly different name and slightly different ingredients. I love this, along with the French Lancome Genifique Nutrics and Lancome Creme-Mousse Confort. All three have slightly different ingredients than the American versions. If you know where to get the products that are made in France, please contact me. Info on my notepad.

It is very thick and sticks to the skin. The worst part of it was getting this mask off my face. I followed the descrpition and used a tissue/cotton. While wiping it off, my face was covered with small pieces of tissue, so at the end I had to rinse it all off, dspite of what the description said.

What an awful product, I can't believe i bought it, paid full price in selfridges and just chucked it in the bin after trying it 3 times...what a waste, but i honestly have no room at all in my bathroom or bedroom for any more beauty products let alone products i dont use and hate! I have combo skin with very dry areas, much drier now its winter and cant live without good moisturising masks. My fave right now is clarins. This one i hated. Its so sticky and gloopy, after 10 mins or so its so tacky and sticky how can you just tissue this off i dont know. I had to wash it off with water and even then i could still feel some residue. I couldnt get my make up to look right either. When i JUST tissued it off like it says to do on the packaging, my foundation after looked horrible. Not to mention my face was so sticky. I dont have the time and patience to mess around with masks like this, i just want a great one i can apply, leave 10 mins, wash off and have great soft glowing skin!

It didn't work on me. Feel just like plastic gel on my face and my skin can not breathe and pores clogged! I am lucky because I tried the sample and did not pay for it.Won't buy again.Lancome has other better products.

I used the mask while I have it. I did not notice any changes after it. I also did not like the way to get it off. It is not enough to tissue out, it asks for rinsing. But if you rinse it off how than it works??? I would not buy it again.

I have gone through many many hydration masks over the yrs as my skin is constantly stressed by frequent travels. I came across this mask and the "natural water captors" caught my eye. This is a gel mask, with a slight perfume scent. the product is gooey and sticky, and after you plaster it over your skin, you are supposed to leave it for 5 minutes and tissue off. After 5 mins of this, there is no way i can tissue off the mask as it becomes very sticky and tacky. I had to rinse it off, and even so, theres a film of residue left behind. hydration-wise, its no obvious. even after daily usage for 2 wks, my skin is still very dehydrated. Not effective, this product. Pricey too!

I am a "moisturizing mask" junkie, hahaha, my skin always seems to lack water, but it's not dry per se, so I still use lightweight cream or lotion, but I constantly use moisturizing masks. I have tried many different brands and products, and I have always liked this, it's not too expensive, and it really works.

Sometimes I feel like I can smell the alcohol when I put it on my face, but that's about the only thing I can complain. I think it works better than products that's much more expensive, and they always give me lots of free samples when I buy this, so I will keep buying it.

This is a very good mask, it does moisturise very well, leaving the skin revitalised and hydrated. The bottle last a long time. Very good buy.

Hydra Intense is a moisturizing replenishing mask. You can put
it on and read email or watch TV for a few minutes or even an hour
if you want, warm washcloth it off, and your skin looks great the
next day. Excellent for dry or mature skin, even combo skin.

I tried a sample the other day and I followed the instructions. In the meanwhile, when I had it on my face, I was reading the reviews here and I was terrified that I would break out :D That was not the case, fortunately. However, this mask did nothing. I left it on my skin for 5 minutes and I didn't have a problem to wipe it off with a tissue. But I didn't like the feeling of my skin afterwards neither the smell. Usually hydrating masks leave my skin moisturized and even, but not this one. I don't know how much it costs, so i give it a "3". I wouldn't buy it. Overall I give it a "2" and not the lowest rate, because it didn't break me out and I realize that it may work for others.

I love this product!! It works on me. I usually use it at night, after exfoliating and masking with Lancome Pure Empreinte.. Don't use tissue, use damp sponge to wipe off the residue! I leave it like that overnight and my skin is still hydrated in the morning, eventhough I don't use night cream! The smell is great and stays long :)

This stuff is awful. After I "tissued" it off, my make up balled up all over my face (and I didn't put it on right away, I waited awhile). I had to wash my face to get off the makeup balled up mess and follow my normal morning routine. Doesn't seem to really do anything, either. Maybe you could use it at night with nothing else, but that is not what I wanted it for. Does anyone have any other uses for this very big waste of my precious cosmetic dollars?

Ehhhh. It does an ok job of moisturizing but nothing a good nightcream wouldn't do anyway. Also, it's hard to get off, leaving this weird gloppy slimy texture on your face. The instructions say to remove with a tissue or warm washcloth but the only thing I've found to work is rinsing thoroughly with water. Smells nice and has a nice cooling effect, but really not much result for the extra effort of using a mask.
