i chanced upon this conditioner in my mother's bathroom by accident - my Dove hair conditioner was depleting fast, had seemed to stop working and smelled really bad. and i mean BAD. so being the stingy student that i am, i popped into mum's toilet to see whether there was anything available, and despite the fact that this is for colour treated hair, (i have virgin hair. yep. never coloured, permed or rebonded, my hair is still the one i was born with. fine and limp as a baby's.) i found this bottle and scurried over to the common toilet to try this out.
firstly, the smell sucks. must be the echinacea. then why the five lippies? because it WORKS. this is the best conditioner ive come across for my hairtype. it smoothens without weighing down my hair, and it hasnt stopped working its magic halfway through the bottle. and because it works, my bathroom counter is suddenly filled with st ives stuff. from the radiance cleanser to scrubs to shampoo. st ives rocks! EDIT: its magic failed after using this for months.. maybe its time for a change.

This conditionner is perfect for my very long hair. It revitalizes without weighting hair down, detangles very well, gives my hair a lot of softness, plus the smell is wonderful.I use it only on the lenghts of my hair not the roots.
The only complaint I have is the fact that it contains silicones (dimethicone), that can cause buildup in the hair if you don't use clarifying shampoo.

This is an excellent quality for the price. It doesn't weigh hair down or anything and still conditions hair reasonably. I would buy this conditioner again except I am recently addicted to John Frieda Sheer Blonde Conditioner and Highlight Enhancer cuz it brightens my blonde hair.

This is a great conditioner for my thick and colored hair. It doesn't accentuate my fly-aways like *cough* All Soft *cough* and it's really moisturizing
Smells nice and it's cheap, sure I'll buy again.

Another HG of Hair Conditioners!
Background: I have color treated (okay fried from dark brown to light golden blonde) VERY LONG (to waist) Thick thick hair. Surely it gets damaged from coloring, and am always on the prowl for fixes because - well being it's so long it will be on my head quite a while before it's at my waist ready to be trimmed.
That said - this stuff rocks.
Leaves my hair VERY conditioned without feeling weighed down and without that 'filmy' feeling. My hair becomes so soft and is incredible for keeping tangles down to a very bare minimum. I've also found this works great when used as a "Treatment" (yep on those - "why did i use a curling iron???" morning afters - sticking this stuff and some saran wrap on my head and leaving it that way for 15-20 minutes or so makes my hair forgive me.
Also I must add that the scent is so clean and fresh. A nice spa-ish and airy aloe vera type of scent. I actually had a woman who was standing near me one evening (total stranger) say "Your hair smells so good!" (True story!!)
And all this... for $2.49 in a very long-hair-friendly size of 20oz. Unbelieveable eh? I love finding awesome products at such wallet-friendly prices. Thumbs up!
