I wanted to buy "true" because I really liked the shade, but after I used it, I knew I had wasted my money. The shade on my lips didn't look anything like the shade appeared in the swatch, and it wore off in like 30 minutes. I use the BE foundation, and it's not my fave mmu but it's good. I can't say the same thing for their lipgloss. Their other lipglosses may be better, but I don't want to spend the money and take that chance. I found this formula to be gooey and slightly sticky on top of everything else.

I love True lipgloss....it doesn't have the tackiness that the other BE glosses have, and it has a nice minty smell. The color is a perfect sheer pinky-gold that goes really well with other lipsticks or alone.

I love the BE lipglosses - they give a nice shine without the porn-star wetness and my hair does not stick to my lips when I wear them. True is a nice, natural color that I use on the weekend especially when I want to run out with just a little lipstick and some blush on. It brightens without too much pigment.

Like others I think the color of true powder is just lovely and wanted to try the gloss. It looks to me to be similar to the famed wet and wild bronzeberry gloss with a bit less berry and a bit more apricot tone. For the money I expected much more. Minty tasting, gritty texture, frosty and uneven looking. IMHO even Wet and Wild's products are superior. Not a fan. So many far better glosses out there (MAC and Smashbox to name a few)

True All Over Face Color is my favorite shade to wear on me cheeks. Many times I have used it on my lips with MAC clear lipglass and it looked absolutely gorgeous and was incredibly flattering. I thought I would try the True lipgloss since it would be easier and more portable than mixing my own with the True powder and clear lipglass. However, it is not exactly the same shade as the True Face Color. True lipgloss is pretty, but it is not nearly as rosy and as deep. Furthermore, the MAC clear lipglass made it really shiny and True lipgloss is not shiny so much as frosty. Also, I might have gotten a bad one but the texture is more like a liquid lipstick than a lipgloss which I do not care for at all. My other BE lipglosses do not have this texture so I'm not sure what to think. I do really like the minty scent and taste. However, I won't repurchase since I prefer using the True All Over Face Color on my lips.

I loved the color in the tube, but it's just too sheer on the lips. Yes, it does have a faint golden peachy pink shade, but it's mostly just YLBB shine with shimmer. It's so sheer that there's no staying power at all. I was so disappointed b/c I usually love Bare Escentuals products and expected to love this too. I do love the fact that the gloss is moisturizing and not sticky/tacky on the lips, but the sheerness and lack of wearability make this gloss seem like it should have been a cheap drugstore gloss, rather than a mid/high priced gloss.

I must be the only person who loves this color! I never would have purchased this tube if the MUA didn't put it on me, but it looks perfect on my lips with a soft pinkish brown liner. I am very picky about my glosses, don't like them too thick, too glossy, too flavored, too scented, or too sticky and this one was just perfect. I personally like the invigorating minty feel of the gloss.

I love most all my BE products, but this one was a disappointment. I have asked a few others, but they seem to think I'm crazy--but this gloss has a different texture than some of the other BE glosses, like sheer violet, sheer cherry, and sweet pink and nude. All of those have a thicker, smoother texture while this one is thin, and just does not "adhere" to my lips. I love the color, but texture is important to me. If the texture was like the other colors mentioned, I would LOVE it. But, alas.....

I bought True gloss thinking it was going to look like the True all over face color which is a pretty mauvey pink. The lipgloss was more of a peach color and it was frosted. I'm not a big fan of frosty glosses. It would be a nice layering gloss but I ha

BE is such a great line but their lipglosses fall far short of their other products. The mint scent and tingly sensation are somewhat irritating and the texture is just too thin to last on the lips. True is a pretty peachy pink very shimmery gloss but not much of a glossy wet look as much as a lot of shimmer. You can bring out the pink side with pinker lipliners and the peach side with peacher, browner lip liners so its versatile and pretty. But the texture leaves too much to be desired so i wouldnt repurchase.

I have to admit that this color is absolutely gorgeous ... it is the perfect shimmery, opalescent light peach - SO pretty and I would think almost universally flattering. Now ... the taste is mint, but a strange mint, not noticeable at first, but then becomes tingly in a way. I'd be afraid some people might have a reaction to that alone, as I found it a bit irritating to the lips. That being said, the texture is "eh" ... goes on very smooth and is nice and light, but because of that lightness the staying power is almost zilch. :-( I'll use up the tube because I love the color, especially for summer, but I don't think I would repurchase. Although it isn't super expensive, you can find similarly or lower priced items that probably perform better. The constant reapplication required can be a pain.
