The wine color is W01 and is a rosy wine, not terribly dark. The texture is very light, the coverage is medium with a slight shimmer (hard to see, but it's there.) The DHC lipsticks are refills that go into a round or square silver case. You save the cap and put it away in the drawer when you load another shade into your case. I'd buy this again, it feels great on and the color is lovely.

I am thrilled that DHC wisely brought back this line of nonshimmer, satin-finish lip colors. For $12USD you get a slim-wand style lipstick with a creamy consistency and no discernible taste or smell. Very tasteful color at a great price.

I got this through a magazine freebie offer - the only thing I've won from a giveaway! I think these retail for around 15 dollars, though. The name of the color is pretty self-explanatory, this is the color of red wine...a berry/burgundy/deep pink. The formula is VERY moisturizing and I rarely have to touch this up. I would buy another if this ran out, probably in a different color for some variety. :)
