Wow! I am pleasantly surprised by this lip gloss! Before I begin, I must stress that I am NOT a lip gloss girl. I'm not a fan of sticky/goopy/tacky lip products that make lips look greasy. BUT, I decided to make the switch because:
1. I grew tired of touching up lipstick at work. After a meal it was just easier to wipe off the lipstick remnants and start over--a waxy lip balm, lip liner, lipstick--it just became just a tedious process and so I longed for something quicker, less maintenance but something that would still make me look polished. A one-step touch-up beauty boost.
2. My work involves constant talking and not much time for makeup touch-ups so my lips have a tendency to dry because any lip balm or tinted lip treatment I would put on my lips would inevitably wear off much quicker.
3. I figured that a moisturizing gloss, although stickier than a good balm, would last longer through all the talking and my nervous habit of pressing my lips together from time to time.
I started wearing the Bobbi Brown Crystal Lip Gloss--a very high quality, moisturizing clear lip gloss--dabbed lightly on my lips, but I thought I could do with a touch more color to make me look more refreshed and awake.
I will admit, I had been eyeing Berry Bold for quite some time. Swatched on the back of my hand everytime I would visit Sephora or Macy's, it looked straight up hot pink so I never bothered to try it on my lips because I always assumed that it would just be another cool-toned bubblegum hot pink--not flattering for my warm, yellow skintone and my lips which pull any blue tones out of any pink or red with the slightest hint of blue--and unfortunately I can never make it work or look natural. Also, since this particular juicy tube looked so transparent, I didn't think the color would actually show up on my brownish pigmented lips. I exfoliate and moisturize regularly but they still have a natural tendency to appear a bit dull so I'm always looking for ways to pink them up a bit.
I finally tried this on today at the suggestion of a Sephora associate and I was very pleased to see that it gives my lips a natural, warm pink flush. Perfect for everyday, and a great shade to wear if you want to wear more dramatic eye makeup. Not fuschia, not Barbie/bubblegum pink at all! But not too red either. The way your lips flush a bit pink after a good workout. Really lights up your entire face without screaming I HAVE LIPGLOSS ON! I love the texture too. It is on the sticky side but it's not as goopy and thick as MAC Clear Lipglass. Smoothes on easily and won't slide around on your lips like thin glosses tend to do.
Long-lasting shine, moisture, and a hint of color all in one! And after wearing it for a few hours, I even got a compliment from a cute co-worker who said that I looked more vibrant today, and I had a "glow" about me although he couldn't quite figure out what it was---if this Juicy Tube has this kind of effect, I figure it's $18 well spent!

I've been searching for this sort of texture and color! Berry Bold in Juicy Tube is absolutely perfect. There's no shimmer or sparkle in it; it's just a sheer reddish tint. A very natural color but makes you look alive somehow. I love how the glossy red doesn't make my lips look smaller like red usually does, but actually seems to plump them up a little.
The only problem I have with it is that in some lights, the color looks a tad blue which is weird. But I can overlook that because my lips naturally do have a tinge of blue in them.
This color is wonderful if you have pale skin and black hair like me.

Packaging quality is ok, reminds me a lot of L'oreal, yeah I know it's the same company but I'm sure they could do so much better since the price of this gloss is more than double, anyhow, I do love Berry Bold, and for some reason, I love the formula. I have tons of other Juicy Tubes but this is my favorite one so far due to the fact that it's not sticky and the color is just right. I probably will keep re-purchasing, but next time, on Ebay.

This, like all other juicy tubes, has a great sent to it! It is very clear and does not have a lot of color pigment to it. But its nice for just a sheer red tint!

I got this in GWP size, and while it's not my favourite it does have a gorgeous scent! The colour is so bright in the tube but on my lips it has no pigment whatsoever. I do love Juicy Tubes but this is one I won't be purchasing because there are so many other adorable JT options!

This lipgloss is amazing! It smells so yummy and it looks gorgeous on my lips! I just have a sample version of thi, but I'm definitely gonna get the version of it. It suits my fair skin very well and I got comments like 'You look like snowwhite'. LOL. xD

I like this - sheer, but a nice hint of pinkish color. It's definitely less thick and tacky than other glosses (such as Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush glosses or MAC Lipglass). It does leave a slight waxy buildup on me (gross, I know), but many glosses do, and this is better than most. The scent is completely Jolly Rancher...pretty yummy. A bit pricey at $18, but a decent gloss.

I've used this stuff before but i didnt buy it again for the longest time just because it was a little on the expensive side, for my 17 year old pockets. I love the shade and the smell is my favorite. It reminds me of a jolly rancher. I wish the taste was as good as the smell but i guess its okay!

This is my favorite lip gloss out of all the ones I own. The color gives my lips a natural splash of berry, complimentary to my skintone and blonde hair, and just the right amount of glossiness. I'd like to use this more often than my chapstick, but my bf doesn't like getting gloss on his lips lol! It moisturizes my lips well and the flavor is just ok as well as the scent, otherwise I would've given it a 5!

I love Juicy Tubes. I use them like Chapstick. They keep my lips moisturized even in the winter. I really love the texture of this one. Some of the more glittery ones seem to make my lips peel. This is the first one I've used that actually has some color. It's a very sheer red color, which I like. I don't care for the flavor, watermelon (?) Grapefruit (?) and I don't get how that goes with the *berry* part of *Berry Bold* but whatever. The flavor doesn't last long.
I do think these are expensive for lip glosses. But they are worth it because they last a long time and nothing I've ever found compares.

The tackiness is not overdone, which is good because hair in the mouth is no good. The taste/smell is good, and overall, this is one the best glosses to date.

I love Lancome's juicy tubes, and I was hesitant to try this one because the colour is so bold and I have such a fair complexion. The colour is sheer enough to work without looking ridiculous.
My only problem with this gloss is the same problem I have with all of the juicy tubes, they're a little gacky. They make my lips look great though, so I'll deal.

I like Juicy Tubes in General, but had to return this one and would not buy it again because of the color. I love the texture, it's nice and smooth, not sticky, and moisturizes my lips (which is essential for me), but the color doesn't work for me since I'm pale-skinned and it looks unnatural. It is a sort of purplish red tint, and it's not too bright/pigmented, just the wrong pigment for me since I can't wear purplish tints. I was going for something more reddish-pink. It smells nice--a very subtle mixed-berry scent. Doesn't really taste like much, slightly sweet. Has no shimmer, and I prefer glosses with shimmer.

Hate the texture of this lip gloss, it's too thick for me.When you put it on, it's hard to blot your lips because it's just SO thick. I do love the color though. I wear this on days I don't feel like putting my makeup on. I just tie my hair in a bun and put some of this on my lips. It brightens up my olive-toned face.

I've found that the Berry Bold Juicy Tube is a real sleeper in my makeup collection. I carried it in a coat pocket all spring, applying and reapplying throughout the day. It's a nice, sheer bright pink gloss- it provides more shine than the NARS glosses, but isn't as gacky as something like MAC's Lipglass. It's good for days when you don't want to wear much makup, but don't want a bare lip, either.
I recently purchased a berry-colored lip stain (Vincent Longo's Liquid Kiss), and couldn't find a gloss to lighten up the texture a bit without adding a clashing pigment. I dug up the Berry Bold and discovered it was a perfect fit. I think I'll keep coming back to this one.

This is nice but not terribly worth having. It has the typical JT texture, and that yummy fruity scent. It was a GORGEOUS color in the tube--a super bright pinky red, absolutely NO sparkles/shimmer/frost which I abhor...but it is exceedingly sheer. almost clear on my lips

Berry Bold was a pleasant surprise for me the first time I put it on. I was convinced it wouldn't show up at all on my lips, so I wasn't motivated to even try it. But since I collect JT's I had to have it. It is sheer, but its not clear gloss on my lips (like so many glosses tend to be.) It shows up as a sheer dark pink/red tint with the wonderful JT smell that got me hooked on these things. Great glossy feel & look that stays put. There's no shimmer or glitter in Berry Bold. I tend to reach for this when I'm out somewhere & don't have a mirror handy. It gives a fresh glossy dark pink tint that smells so good!

Well, I quite like this product despite the price. I goes for about $20(CDN) and I have a hard time justifying spending that price on a tube of lip gloss. I enjoy the sticky texture of it, it stays on my lips instead of running down on my face which I have found from a select few lip glosses. And the color? I think it's just great.. It's a deeper pink which looks great which, I think, looks great with my tanned face. And, it's so glossy and sexy!
I like this product a lot, but if you are like me and tend to lose lipglosses I'd vote from something a little more reasonable.
