The only reason I bought this blush is because of the good reviews on here, but I don't get it. This blush has no pigmentation, and I have very fair skin. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Ive worn this one for months at a time, in a row, especially in my teenage years. Its such a universal color that goes with anything and everything. Its a 100% matte pinky brown with a mauve undertone, not pigmented enough for tan + skin but shows up naturally on my NC25 yellow skin. Its not powdery at all but sort of dries up quite often. I have to go in with a harsh, stubby brush (much like the one it comes with) and scratch off a layer of the too smooth surface to reveal the soft texture underneath. Its so cheap that I don't mind wasting away the excess blush every couple of days when needed.
Although I do prefer Revlon matte in barely buff (a similar shade) much more, mainly due to the superior quality & better pigmentation; but this still gets good use. Will use it up while it lasts.

LOVE this blusher!
i have bad acne and try to look for products that dont highlight the face!
So a matte blusher is perfect for this, its a great color for my nc20 fair skin, it gives a natural color and also its a great price! It lasts all day on my skin! Overall i would highly recommend it!

This is the first blush that I own from the drugstore that I dont mind using on a daily basis because guess what? IT DOES NOT make my acne scars/current blemishes look worse like lots of other blushes do!
It's true that the pigmentation is NOT the best, but I actually consider that a good thing because its more versatile and harder to overdo and look clownish.
The colour is a perfect balance of peach and pink, a great natural shade for my skin tone (nc20), its crazy how natural it looks, and the fact that its matte is an added bonus. As mentioned above, I have skin with lots of blemishes and matte blushes do not accentuate the pores and scars. (If I wanted to add some dimension back into my face, Id just use a bit of a highlight)
Packaging-wise, it is very cheap looking, but I paid very little for this so its no biggie. The clear cap is convenient as the colour can easily be seen,
I use this daily and it does fade a bit throughout the day (Im out for 8-12 hours on weekdays) but I can still see some colour by the time I get home.
When I pass by this blush in the makeup aisle, I always want to pick up a back-up, but I might try to find a dupe (doesnt matter if its another drugstore one or a dep. store one) because im not too happy with the ingredients in this product, but i love it nonetheless!

I was very disappointed with this product. It was alright but I felt it didn't show up too well. The brush was awful but us ladies don't normally use the mini brushes within the packages. I do love NYC, don't get me wrong, but this just wasn't for me I guess. My lid broke off as well which was a bit of a bummer but ah well. It seems to work for many others though.

Like another reviewer said, it is the perfect peach-pink combo. Very easy to use because it is hard to over apply, but it might not be enough color for some. For my medium-fair skin, not too light but not too medium either (NC25-ish), this looks natural, non-clown like and doesn't magnify my already pink acne scars. Doesn't oxidize much either over the course of the day either. Toss the brush that comes with it and use your own favorite blush brush. Will buy again since this is my daily go-to blush and I am afraid of not being able to find it.

This was on sale at my local Target for 80cents! There was no way I wasn't gonna pick it up and try it for that price! It is a matte blush, a muted rosey brown color. It is chalky and the dust from it flies everywhere when you put your brush in it (btw do not use the brush that comes with it!). However for the price I paid, it is a nice, natural color for everyday and I'll continue to use it.

This blush used to be GREAT, best blush and color I've ever used! And I would have given it stellar reviews BUT......NYC has changed its formulation in their blushes and now this blush is horrible. It is not the same Riverside Rose that they used to make. I recently opened a newer package I got for Christmas 6 months ago. It's the new formulation so I guess they made this switch sometime late 2010. I called to complain, don't think they'll switch it back. So now you have an inferior product. This new formulation will not show up on your skin, it's a sandy beige color nary a rosey tinge to it at all. Very disappointed. Be warned, this color will not show up on your skin and will most definitely not give you rosey cheeks.

I love NYC blush! I have it in two other shades besides this one! (Sutton Palace Peach and Central Park Pink) This one is like a perfect combination of peach and pink. It looks so natural on my fair and cool skin. You can use a little or a lot, and it looks natural and beautiful! The brush it comes with is kind of square shaped and makes it harder to apply, so I use a big blush brush from ELF. You can't go wrong with this blush, especially because it's so cheap! Also, I am sensitive and acne prone and I have had no problems with it at all! Try it!

This is the first blush i bought from N.Y.C. and im so mad that i picked this color. I just wanted a light pink blush because i gave my sister my sally's girl blush in c-ya WHICH I MISSSS ! Def. check that out for only 1.99 much more pigmented.
This blush is sooo not pigmented, i would swatch it through my hands 239472934 times and it probably won't show upp still !
I will never repurchase this but maybe in a different color.
My sister in law has it in diff. colors and is muchhhh more pigmented but those are the darker ones that can be used for bronzers..

i wanted to love this blush but it wasn't pigmented enough for me. It barely showed up on my skin but i did love the color. I wish it was more pigmented.
I recently tried Wet N Wild blushes.... they are much better and about the same price range and better packaging .

This blush is a nice color, but you have to really brush it on to get any color. Its a nice color that looks really natural. However, i wouldn't buy it again because i don't like having to put alot of blush on.

I would recommend this to almost anyone. It'll give a totally "natural" outdoorsy flush. And people miiiiiiiight be fooled into thinking you s are lucky enough to have Arabian horses, and go around riding them in the beautiful autumn sunshine. Love it.

I'm so very picky about colors on my face, with my skin tone bright colors look gawdy and some other colors that look good in the package end up look a little "off" once it's on my skin. I've had some different blushes in the past, but they're all so shimmery, when my face is in the sun sometimes I look a little ridiculous because ALL you see is the silvery-shimmer. This color has SO much more pigment than I thought, so I was a little heavy-handed at first because the color looked so understated in the pan, but then I realized how much color was on my face. It's gorgeous on my skin, it's not so much rose as it is a cross between a neutral pink (love!) and peach. I love that it's also very matte, as I mentioned before with my bad experience with shimmery blushes. And the price really is the icing on the cake. Definitely very natural looking, I think this could look good in almost all skin tones. Love it.

I love it! I bought it because I thought it looked like it could be a dupe for my HG Benefit Dallas. It is very close and I really like it. I kind of needed to build up the color, whereas Dallas is so concentrated that just the smallest amount blended well shows up on my NW20 skin. Riverside Rose is like Dallas but with less of the bronze aspect, more of just a really beautiful, wearable rose. The packaging is not the best but at 2.99 I don't mind at all. Of course, I used a blush brush rather than the small brush it comes with.

i love this blush! it has a matte finish which i love since most of my blushes have shimmer to them. it is a rosey color, not too pink and you cant beat the price! the packaging is typical NYC (not a good thing) but i can overlook this for the price.

I was so surprised by how much I liked this blush. This used to be my mom's and I swiped it from her drawer of products that she doesn't use. Our complexions are very different (she's probably around NC35-40, I'm NC 20-25), so I guess this didn't work on her, but I like it a lot on me. It's a very pretty rose color with just a touch of mauve (but not enough to make it look dusty or purple, it just tones down the pink a bit). For about my first three years of college I used only this blush. It's very natural looking on me, and now that I own more blushes, I think I will relegate this one to be my winter blush. It's perfect for that soft, rosy look that is so lovely when the weather's cold outside. The texture of the blush is pretty silky, and very blendable and buildable.

Beautiful rose pink blush. It is dirt cheap which is great for a blush junkie like myself. It goes on smooth and is easy to blend. It looks very pretty on my NC 30 complexion. The only thing is that it does fade rather quickly but for the price it's not deal breaker.

i love this blush. i use it for a natural look all the time and it looks great. the pigmentation is pretty good, its not horriable but its not great. its so cheap and you get a lot of product, plus the little design of the product is so cute. the brush is ok cause it picks up the product but it doesnt show up on my skin. so i stick with my normal nyc blush/powder brush that i got in a set and the color goes on flewlessly. i will keep buying this blush over and over again.

I had this for a long time and never really used it. One day I was bored with my other blushes, so I tried this one.
I do like it. Its has a nice matte finish and I can wear it everyday. You can layer it perfectly, so its almost impossible to have a bad "clown-like" outcome. lol.
The packaging is cheap, but the whole product is cheap. I bought it for 2 Dollars at Walmart, so what can you expect from the packaging?
Very nice colour though. Go out and buy!
