Java Mauve-A brown-pink nude shade. It does tend to look dull and bland. It's suitable on the nails for the office. The application is thick and smooth. Overall, not my favourite nude polish, won't repurchase.

I like it, not love. I would possibly buy this again because it's a nice go-to color.

This is my absolute favorite color for my toes. Perfect brown/pink that compliments my fair-medium skin tone. Goes on really easy too.

Love it. Perfect color for my skin tone. Natural but still eye catching. I'm NC25 for reference. The only problem was that the bottle I got was probably dated and the polish was kind of thick. But, it did not change my overall satisfaction and I'm in love with the color.

I love this shade for my skin tone. I am very fair and pinks with brown in them seem to compliment my coloring. Since I have a bit of natural ruddiness in my skin, brownish tones seem to balance out that problem. I would definitely buy this color again. It stays on very well if you apply a base coat first and then a top coat over it. Mine lasted for a week with no chipping. Not sure how long it would have lasted if I hadn't applied the top coat, but I did, and it worked out just fine for me.

I was hoping it is more mauve-pink instead of brown. It is more brown than pink. Kind of dull color. I won't buy it anymore.

This was the first neutral color I ever bought, and while I was initially satisfied with it, as time as gone on I've realized there are much better alternatives out there for me. I find it to be way too peach for my skin tone. It reminds me of the crayon my kindergarten teacher told us to use for people.

The application was typical of OPI, nothing very notable. Opacity in 2 coats.

Overall: A decent neutral, but nothing to write home about. Better options, especially from OPI.

I love this n/p. this is my only neutral color i have, i always like in your face colors or bright colors. And I went to Ulta the other day and saw this and bought it. when i got home i wasn't sure if i like it anymore, but i tried it on anyways, and omg i fell in love with the color. it's a little brownish pinkie color, which looks very nice on my NC 30 - 35 skin. it's very neutral also and i love wearing it on my toes. would def. repurchase once i run out :]

I tend to gravitate toward nail shades that contain both pink and brown, and when I heard this one's name , Java Mauve-a, I thought, "How perfect that sounds!" I was right! It's a cream shade, another factor when I select polish. I prefer the clean, uncomplicated look of cream polish rather than a fussy, sparkly shimmer formula. After all, your nails are supposed to complement your whole look, not steal the show. This shade does that for me. The shade is a neutral that goes along with my makeup rather than competes with it. It's a keeper!

I like this. I have light-medium white skin that has strong tinges of pink and purple.

This is a great work neutral that's a step up than a normal buff/beige color. I like it a lot, wears well for me. Very pleased overall.

I agree that this is a YLBB for nails. It is a plummy, mauvy, light brown creamy polish. It probably isn't for everyone, but looks good on my NC45 African American skin. Plus, I'm a lawyer, so I tend to go for natural nails or neutral colors for my nails, and splurge on the reds on my toes (even if my toes don't see the light of day except for after work - sigh). I think this color is similar to MAC's Half n Half lipstick.

Didn't work for me! Made my hands look old and tired, and in return, my hands made the polish look greyed out. Very unpleasant... I swapped it away.

This is a nice neutral color, esp. for people with more darker or more peachy toned-skin. On my GGG skin, it appears more melon-rose than mauve, though I can see where other people might get a touch more of the plumminess. Creme finish. Applies smoothly without any streaking. Wears well. Pricey, especially since I switch nail colors frequently, but worth it if you like the color.

This is a color I keep coming back to. I am light olive skinned and this looks good on my skin in winter and summer. It's a deep pinky-brown with purple tones - very pretty! It's a fun color that looks professional as well. Plus the quality of OPI is hard to beat.

First tried this color a couple of years ago, and it's one of my favorites - very neutral, goes with anything you're wearing, but still shows up for a very polished look.

I love this color! It's the perfect work-week self-manicure color. Even when it chips a bit and begins to wear off (after a week or so) it doesn't have that "chipped" look to it due to the soft color.

How happy am I that I FINALLY got around to trying this! It's a perfect work-worthy tannish/brownish pink (sort of like if YLLB lipcolor was made into nail polish). Creme (which is always classic), and goes well with my brown skin. Has that "Color but not toomuch color" look. Very polished on hands, but nice on toes too. IMHO, one of those rare colors that look good on both long and short nails. Wears well, as always
I'll be going out of my mind trying to hunt this down after I run out.
Luuurve this.

In the bottle this shade looks to be in the more purple side than a true pinky mauve. On my nails it picks up hints of both (purple and more pink) depending on what top I wear - all around I like this color - it's not too dark for my pale skin and shows up real well. Since it goes with many outfits I can wear it in the fall and winter often, or as a brighter toenail color. OPI polishes always have unique colors and are often better than your average polish.
