This has become my HG eyeliner. I use this in Black, which is very nice and pure. I prefer retractable liners to pencils. It glides on soo smoothly. I usually don't do my waterline, but this works well for it when I do. It stays put with crisp lines, but if you want a smudged look, it does that easily too (has a smudger on the other end). Could be cheaper, but overall I think it's worth it.

This is a very good eye pencil that last a long time and doesnt smudge. My only problem is that it doesn't glide on. You kind of have to tug on your eyelid to get it on.

Wow! This is a great eye pencil! I usually don't like these retractable pencils, I prefer the ones you can sharpen, but this one is AWESOME! It really last a long time. I put in on at 9 am and it was still going strong by late afternoon. I went to the park and played tennis for about an hour and when I got home to wash my face the eyeliner still looked good. It was a little smudged but what do you expect, I was sweating a lot. I will buy again for sure.

I have this eyeliner in Brunette and Charcoal and I love both colors. The eye pencils go on smooth and I love the smudge end of the liner. I apply this eyeliner in the morning and it usually lasts all day. I carry it in my purse for a quick adjustment if I need to look good for a meeting. I didn't stock up on these pencils and can't find them anymore. I am very sad that PX is going out of business; I would buy again if I could...

I'm not really sure WHY I bought this in Brunette when I didn't like the black one, but I did. I was hoping it would be my HG tightline pencil, but no. This thing is gone within maybe 2 hours, and leaves yicky eye-corner boogery things in its wake, and that is NOT a problem I tend to have! If you're looking to line your waterline or to tightline, look elsewhere.
I suppose it would be fine to use to line ABOVE your lashline with, but only for a smudgy line because it's got little staying power. Also, you should probably have dryish lids. .Lastly, the cap on the smudger end comes off too easily, and I lost it within 2 days. This will be relegated to living in my "emergency m/u" bag in my car. I wouldn't repurchase this.

I have been searching for this eyeliner forever. My eyes tend to water so a lot of eyeliners come off of the corners and the water line. Not this one! This is the first very black(I'm picky about the black, no blue black or green black!), lasts literally all day without coming off anywhere! It's like you are putting on a permanent marker on your eyes. This stuff stays on! It also goes on very nicely and smooth. This is my new HG eyeliner!

although this eyeliner is expensive..it's the best eyeliner i've ever used! it's so smooth..but stays on for a long time & has a great color..the black is really nice! so..some things are smooth..but don't stay one..others are somewhat dry..but stay on..this is both in one..plus it comes with a smudger and is retractable! highly recommended!

The Brunette is an excellent color for redheads. It is a dark auburn-brown, slightly plummy smudge stick eyeliner. It does stay on all day, and is strong enough to draw attention away from red hair. But the packaging and application are awful. The smudge stick constantly breaks, it is hard to apply and even harder to blend. Once you put it on, you can't easily layer shadows over it, or fill in stubbly breaks in the line. I forced myself to use it every morning because of the price, but it took at least 15 minutes to apply, and was impossible to dot close to the lashes. Finally threw it out and got a kohl pencil.

I like the fact that this eyeliner is soft vs a lot of other pencils out there, and is retractable. However, I can't seem to get it off at night, even using multiple make-up removers. Also kind of difficult to blend.

Even though BB's Gel Eyeliner is my current love, this was my favorite for years. I always got it in both Black and Brunette, and I love the sponge tip that comes with it. It has good staying power and is easy to apply. Highly recommended.

I have this in khaki and it is fabulous. The color looks great on my hazel eyes. Application is smooth and easy. Will definitely repurchase.

This is a terrific product. I've searched in vain for years to find a pencil eyeliner that doesn't smudge and transfer to my eyelids, I finally found it in this product. It goes on smoothly, and stays put. I use creme eye shadows and with every other pencil eyeliner it seems to just blend together and by the end of the day I'll have nothing left of an eyeliner. This is different it looks just as good at the end of the day as it did when I first put it on. The self-sharpening and soft sponge blender tip is a plus too. NICELY DONE!

I have oily lids, but this is the only eyeliner that I've used that will not budge. The color stays true from the moment you put it on to the moment you take it off. It comes off easily too, but I use facial cleaning cloths, so that may explain why. I have two colors, black & amethyst, and I personally find it easier to apply the black. Black stays black, doesn't really fade or smudge - will re-purchase.

Best eyeliner that I've used, from Chanel, Estee Lauder to Lancome. I line under my upper lashes and I need something that stays put and doesn't transfer to my lower eyelid when I blink and smile throughout the day. Excellent packaging w/ self sharpening and smudger tip.
