This is the perfect moisturizer for my combination, acne prone skin. Gives me a beautiful radiance, just like it claims!!! My skin is so soft without any greasiness or excess oil. My acne scarring has also faded in the past few months since I've been using it. A little pricey for a drugstore product, but the CVS brand is a few dollars cheaper and works exactly the same. I've tried both and noticed no difference. I'll continue to buy this. :)

After only a week of using this and also the matching facial wash my skin has started breaking out in small white lumps, flaking and I have red patch under one of my eyes. Not sure which is the culprit this or the wash - or maybe it's both combined, but I have had to stop using already. Have had good success with their body wash and lotions though and had no problems.
Will try the ultracalming one with high hopes that it will indeed calm my skin down (and fast!).

After finishing my (rather pleasing) jar of L'Oreal Age Perfect, I decided I would try and ease into spring with something containing a sunscreen. Took myself off to Costco and got the bargain 2-pack. Argh! In spite of the sanitary pump and SPF 15, this smelly lotion leaves skin gritty and tight, with none of the delightful, plumping softness of its predecessor. Back to Age Perfect I go--even if I have to layer on another sunscreen. Live and learn.

First off, I've been using this product for a year and I don't know if it has given me results or not. This is the only thing I use on my face. The smell is nice to have on my face. it also gives you a somewhat "glow." I was hoping some of my acne scars would go away with it but I don't think that's gonna happen. Something irritating about it is after a few uses, it dries up in the pump and leaves like a leftover waist of product. I also hate how expensive it is and I've only used like half the product and it expires in a week! I guess I'll buy it again and use it for SPF?

This review is for the SPF 15 version.
I bought and used this before I started doing research about sunscreens. I like the moisturizer portion. It's a good consistency for me, absorbs quickly, wears well under make-up.
Then I found out the avobenzone/octinoxate combo in this is not photostable so I'm on the search for another moisturizer with good SPF/PPD.

I have been using this moisturizer for a long time. I often mix it with my foundation, and it goes on smooth and doesn't feel heavy or greasy.

POSITIVELY RADIANT DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF 30
I've been using various non-comedogenic, oil-free, hypoallergenic moisturizers since high school. This is the best, ever!
STATE OF MY SKIN: I have a yellow-orange undertone. I am tres oil-e, been that way since I can remember. They usta call me "Scarface" in school. Today I get the occasional, monthly pimple(s) during my menses. All in all, if I exercise & eat right, I'm usually working with 4-8 brown spots due to acne scarring.
Pro Story:
* With mom one day & randomly looked in the best placed mirror (natural light) at home. Suddenly I noticed how much more yellow-golden I was looking. And my mom agreed! Of course winter=paler (or for black folks, "lighter") My first thought was of my (looong gone) summer tan. But what I got isn't the burnished golden brown of a tan. Nor am I merely sans tan. My skin looks like a soft light is on beneath it!
Reality:
* I can't say my dark spots are miraculously gone. They're still kinda lingering from last month (and the one before that, and.. you get the point). This is no fade cream. (Try Ambi for that)
* I love the way my skin looks now. It's not perfect but my complexion is more.. uummm, shall I say monochromatic? My texture has become smoother. My golden undertone is really shining thru throughout my face. I don't think I realized how many various the tones of my face until they became one.
* I thought Neutrogena was my HG. Sike!
Now I look forward to trying more Aveeno products!

I do like this product. The problem with Aveeno moisturizers specifically though is that they make promises on their products that don't deliver. This says it will even out your skin tone, but I haven't seen any of that and I have been using it for about 4 months every morning. However this doesn't break me out, clog my pores, and it is one of the only moisturizers that doesn't make me oily and that I can wear under makeup. Kind of pricey but worth it. You only need a little to cover your whole face, and the bottle last a while. This moisturizer isn't horrible, but there are definitely better ones out there. But this is a good drugstore find, and compared to all the other crap drugstore moisturizers this is without a doubt one of the best drugstore moisturizers. Not HG but good for now.

I've been using this product for about a year. I apply it daily prior to putting my makeup on, and then at night before I go to bed.
PROS: * It's great for sensitive skin. My skin gets irritated easily, and I have never had that problem with this.
* It keeps your face moisturized all day. I never have to worry about getting dry spots.
* It evens out your skin tone. My face is much more even and smooth now.
CONS: *It doesn't smell very good. It almost smells like clay.
* It can feel cakey when you first apply it. This goes away after rubbing it in though.
All in all, it is probably the best moisturizer for the price that I've tried.

This lotion is average. I purchased it for the SPF30 and I have combination, sensitive skin. On certain days, I find that the lotion stings my skin a little and often, I experience flaking of the skin as I'm applying it. Without make-up, I like the way this lotion makes my skin feel to the touch -- soft and smooth. It is fine under make-up as well but during the application, there is some flaking or "balling" of the make-up/skin....once that's brushed off, it looks fine.

This product is ok for being a drugstore product, however, I expected it to be a bit better than it is. It makes my skin so oily after about 15 minutes, and my make-up immediately melts off when I wear it over this. I will use the bottle up, but will not re-purchase.

What would I do without this product? I seriously could not live without it. I have huge amount of acne scars, and redness around them, but now my skin doesn't really break out that much any more thanks to my Clean and Clear spot treatment. So, I wanted to take advantage of the fact that I am not getting very many new scars, so I wanted to work on the old ones. This product did exactly what it said it would do for me. My skin is smoother, way less red and so much more even! I have beautiful skin now, even after I wash it off. I have only been using this for about 3 weeks! It didn't make my face look shimmery, I think that the light diffusers are very unnoticible. Yes, the price for this is pretty up there though. But, this is definitely a great product for anyone with less than perfect skin who would like it to look more even. Bye bye splochiness.

I like this stuff even though i no longer use it. the price isn't terrible even though it is one of the more pricey drugstore moisturizers. i used to use this during the day but now i use an SPF 30 facial moisturizer by eucerin. the good thing about this aveeno moisturizer is that it seemed to clear up my skin and even out the tone of my face. i truly did have radiant skin while using this. the soy ingredient really works. i couldnt believe it. the only reason why i stopped using it is because i needed a good SPF (the spf30 version of this product stings my face, probably because of the active ingredient). anyway i thought about using this stuff at night since it did good things for my skin, but i have moved on to more natural paraben-free products like vanicream which is a heavy moisturizer (i use this at night over my neutrogena ageless intensives retinol serum). good stuff, but doesnt fit into my skincare regimen.

I find this product is only good using it alone under no make-up! After 2 hours wearing this product (with make-up) my face looked very oily , shinny and felt gross :( It has small glitter, sparkles in the moisturize and that didn't help , just made it look extra shinny. I returned it after 4 days of trying this product out =[ It does a great job alone just not under make-up.

This isn't a "bad" product, just over-priced and over-rated. As a moisturizer/sunblock it's fine, but the advertised cosmetic benifits were non-existant for me! My skin didn't look ANY smoother or more even-toned. It does have a nice matt finish, but so does Banana Boat "Sun Wear", which has higher SPF, and costs a fraction of the price.
I have to say that my experiences with Aveeno products have been disappointing. I know the company has a great reputation. Maybe their plain lotion is a good product, but their Sunblock is just awful, and neither "Positively Radiant" nor "Ultra Calming" did anything special for my skin that another moisturizer wouldn't have.

i like thisss lotion a lot. im on my second bottle and it seems to be good for me. well its doesnt really do what it claims as to evening out the texture and skin tone cuz i still have a lot of acne scars. BUT it doesnt break me out and it absorbs pretty quickly and it has spf (i use the spf 15 one). i still get oily throughout the day but i dont think any moisturizer will really keep it oil-free all day. soo i like this moisturizer; it hasnt made me dry a single day after using it so i guess its good :)

HATE the fake gold shimmer/ glitter look of this. Goes on smooth and feels good, but glitter is not natural (like Aveeno prides itself in being). Returned it.

I've only used this for a week but if something changes, I'll update it. This is one of the Dr. Baumann's picks for the Oily, Pigmented, Sensitive, Wrinkled skin type. It has the SPF 30. It smells a lot: a cross between a perfume-y type mixed with (as one person said on another site: clay-like). It is strong. It does become unnoticeable after about 10 minutes. The texture is kind of light but also slightly oily. It does give a radiance to the skin (although it is slight). When I take it off at night, it is amazing how soft my skin is.
The thing that bothers me is I do not see lightening of my freckles or fine lines (Regenerist looked like it was going to work for me, but then I had to discard it because it made me break out. Some oily types do not break out on Regenerist. I believe everyone should give Regenerist a try first!). I know it's only been a week but I have noticed that some products really begin to do their 'thing' at 1 or 2 weeks.
The other thing is this is rather pricey: $14 for 2.5 and if you use it like you're supposed to (every 2 hours when the sun is out), you will go through it pretty quickly. The bottle is very good: opaque and a pump top. Smart. I will update if I notice something spectacular but for now I'll just finish my bottle and move onto something different.

I usually think of Aveeno products as a safe bet against skin irritations. I was hoping this would give my pale skin some oomph. All I ended up with was itchy, dehydrated skin. Also I didn't realize until I was sitting outside one day in the sun, this product is quite glittery. I wanted something that would repair my skin, this was not it. I also made the mistake of buying the aveeno positively radiant exfoliating bodywash, which was also crap.
