This is a plummy brown and its darker than lancome's color "backstage pass". Its pretty, but it doesnt have lasting power.

It is exactly what I was looking for. Wine, taupe, with a hint of purple and brown. I also like the fact that it has the right amount of shimmering that is ideal for work. It is quite similar to MAC trax in the pan, but not as reddish. I agree that many lines carry similar color and it doesnt outperform MAC or stila. (But I do find stila's similar colors, such as barefoot, too frosty for my taste.) Overall, pretty decent product.

This color wears on me as a cool violet taupe (not really very "winey" on me since it doesn't wear with any red/bronze for me). It's not very pigmented so I have no problems blending this in. There are much better quality wine/dark violet shimmers out there (try Stila Viola for a medium toned purple/brown or Stila Barefoot Contessa for a medium to dark toned Wine/Bronze, or MAC Shale - a medium to dark violet taupe). All of these 3 are better choices in my opinion.

I have been searching for a great wine colored eye shadow for a long time and I've finally found it. This color is so gorgeous. Light wine color with a hint of shimmer but not so much that you look like a drunken party girl. I think it matches well on Asian skin combined with our brown eyes.

Beware, the eye shadow looks nothing like the Spontaneous that's listed on Lancome's website. The shadow itself is more of a light burgandy wine color.

Pretty color, but there's nothing special about it when I put it on my lids. There are better e/s out there for cheaper

i love to pair spontaneous with exhibition- it gives my eyes a sophisticated but not boring plummy brown eye that looks great with dusty pinks, camels, or khaki clothes...spontaneous is a medium to dark-ish plum with red and brown tones to it. this is a key item in creating one of my fave looks!

I love this shade, wine sparkle color. I use this in the crease then i load my liner brush with it and use under the eye near the lashes, also use it wet as a liner too.
