At first these glycerin soaps smell outrageous and good. And then in 4 days, if that, they crumble into two, then four, then 8-12 different pieces in less then one week. Needless to say I don't have time to be picking up soap shards in the shower when my routine in the shower takes 30 minutes. Love the smell but hate how they're not practical. I don't need 30 shards compacted to make one soap, give me one big one and I'll buy this again.

UPDATE: I had to update my review of Primal Elements soaps, After using many differant bars I find that they fall apart way to quickly. I even use there soap dish that Primal Elements sells and they still fall apart in pieces before I even use much of the bar up. Also, the soap coats my sink so I do not think that they rinse clean either. I will not waste my money on Primal Elements soaps again. They are also overpriced.

Nirvana is a bar of Primal Elements in Ariel. Sandalwood, patchouli, musk and moss...perfection. The soap is smooth and gentle. My favorite bar soap on the market.

Primal Elements strongest is how beautiful and creative are. They tend to melt if you don't take care of them and fall apart too easily to use. They're best in the guest bathroom or for hand washing usage. They are very gentle however and just lots and lots of fun!

Honestly, I perfer different soap to wash (lots of lather and scent lingers when I leave the shower with soft skin) but PE is so whimiscal and fun that it's hard not to look forward to their new soaps. I've been stalking their webpage for two years now!

These were my first foray into foody products in the bath and it's been an obsession ever since. You can't beat these for the price. It's so fun to try all the different scents, and the designs can be a hoot too, although some of them are a little odd and even offputting. And, as mentioned here before, they do tend to fragment into pieces like a puzzle-just depends on the design. Since they are glycerin, it's important to keep them out of the stream of water for any extended period of time b/c they will melt FAST.
I have been through so many bars of these and I keep going back b/c they are affordable, effective and fun.

You can't beat the luscious smells of Primal Elements soaps. The designs are also great. My one major complaint is that when I have purchased scents that have lots of chunky bits in the design they fall apart after a couple of days. The chunks come off several at a time like a puzzle unraraveling. I can't stand to waste it so I end up squishing it all together into a ball shape so i can keep using it. I have also purchased a liquied soap dispenser put in the bits that fell off, added some water, shake the whole thing up and VOILA liquid Primal Elements soap. because it's a glycerin soap it dsintegrates nicely in the liquid soap dispenser and works well. I have tried all kinds of soap dishes thinking maybe my soap wasn't drying out enough. I even bought a recommended Primal Elements soap dish and nothnig works. I don't know how anyone else is keeping their soap from falling apart but I have had no luck.

I think primal elements soaps are great. They are glycerin so they do melt fast. They are sliced off a big block and have great designs in them. If you are looking for a basic soap that is cute and smells good then these are great. If you are looking for a top quality soap that moisturizes then they are not the best for that. I love the scents and clever designs in them. I love to get various designs and put them out near the bathroom sink for guests to use when using the bathroom. They are nicely scented and a whole lot of fun. They help decorate the bathroom nicely for various seasons and there are many scents and styles to choose from.

I LOVE this line of soaps...they are glycerin based & don't dry out my skin at all. The large size of these bars can be a bit awkward to handle, but I find cutting them in half tends to make them fall apart. I am addicted to these & go through a bar per week. My faves: Tahitian Vanilla, Cantaloupe, Cupcake, Pumpkin Pie & Chocolate Moose. GINGERFISH is in a class all by itself....zesty and bubbly...it is truly the most invigorating aroma I've ever smelled! My only complaint...Cinnabun, while absolutely delicious smelling really irritated my skin & turned it red...a bit too much cinnamon in the formulation I think! haha I prefer Primal Elements to LUSH soaps, which I find to be extremely small in size for the price, and a bit drying as well.

I just received a PE soap as a gift and I am loving it. It's called 'Sunrise, Sunset' and the theme is of course related. I love the scent and I do think (looking at the size) that it'll last for ages. Would love to try some more of these!

These are fun bars of soap to have around.I love to have different bars according to the season (there is one called Winterfall which is fabulous) I use them at the sink to wash my hands and in the shower. They are a great little indulgence- and visitors always comment on them.
I am even surprised that they don't dry out my skin (being that they are glycerin based).
An all around excellent bar of soap! I'll definitely repurchase.

PE is THE funnest thing for the bath-even my DH gets excited when I order some. There's a scent and a theme for everybody and it's a really great little indulgence to treat yourself to.

I normally don't like bar soaps, but I love these. They have adorable and fun designs and are clear so they don't goop up like regular soap does. I love these and would recommend them to anyone. I do not find these drying at all--they feel very mild & gentle on my skin.

My first soap bar was Ginger Peach thanks to an excellent swap with an excellent lady (AmyKELT)! When I opened up the package, the aroma was very pungent & in a good way. The smell was more of a candy peach with a miniscule hint of ginger & not at all spicy like I thought it would be. The bar was really huge too! I chopped it in half for better handling. I loved the teal, peach, glitter rainbow design on it. When I used it, it lathered up very nicely. I was tickled at finding specks of glittre from the soap bar all over me - very cute idea! I did find the bar to be just like any other glycerin soap bar as far as moisturization goes: NOT very moisturizing. But nothing that some lotion can't fix. After showering and not applying lotion (dry-ish skin), I noticed how strong the scent from the bar lingered on me. Very nice but sadly, my BF did not approve. He said it was a scent he did not prefer which leads me to say that I will probably obtain more of these bars, just not this one again.

I just finished my Paradise Sunset soap and want to buy another one. It is moisturizing and smells just like a yummy mix of Bananas and Coconut. Perfect for summer! But....now that is is getting into the fall months, I will have to try the other scents available. The Pumpkin Patch soap smells incredible! I love how they slice a piece of the block when I buy these and the designs are so cute! Primal Elements makes some of my favorite soaps! Tahitian Vanilla is also a wonderful choice!

I love these soaps too. My favorite is the Almond Biscotties because it smells great, matches the black & red bathroom perfectly and lasts quite a while. I don't mind the large size because it lasts so long and has such an adorable design. I love giving these soaps as gifts, the Christmas themed ones are great stocking-stuffers (they smell divine!) I also love the colorbowl candles for the same reasons as the soaps.

Seems to disappear after only a few showers. Husband took a brand new bar with him on a 2 week trip and used it up before he came home. He loved the smell though.

I just LOVE these soaps! Any fans of foody scents have to check these out. The bars are huge & very cute, and smell absolutely divine. Some of my faves: Cupcake, Cinnabon, Almond Biscotti, & Holiday. The only drawback is that as a glycerin soap PE isn't as moisturizing as some others (like L'Occitane, Fresh, etc). I make up for this by using an equally yummy body cream after my shower :)

Wonderfully fragrant soaps with such exotic scents as Ginger Fish (gingerale), Raspberry Mocha (yummy, just like the name!), Cupcake (a true vanilla cupcake scent), Tahitian Vanilla (delicous vanilla scent), and several other scents that have all been terrific! I normally prefer a shower gel but these soaps are an exception! Of course I love the PE shower gels too....
