Quite dry but it is lasting. I use this shade when I want a gothic look. It somehow looks quite dark and intense on me.

I was so fascinated with the whole "naked look" that's trending right now, but couldn't find a lip color to compliment and I REFUSE to put foundation on my lips. I was so excited to find this through my hookup @ my local MAC counter (studio fix NW 45). I use this when I want that naked, makeupless look or when I want to do something dragqueen dramatic with my eyes. Thank you, MAC and PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE!!!

Foundation-like shade in a medium brown with red undertones. Smooth, semi-matte coverage

(NC44 here!) I love this brown! Great, neutral look for me, with my lip liner in Cushy ! Also works well with a clear gloss. My favorite brown right now. Not drying in the least for me.

This is one of my biggest makeup mistakes ever. I'm a DDD (NC50), and the first time I wore this someone asked me if I was ill! Sure the texture is great, but the flat brown colour blended into my skin and made me look lipless and bloodless. Well at least I've found a way to wear it - under too-bright lipcolours to tone them down. I suppose it might work for some DDDs looking for a YLBB look, (because of their different undertones) but I think you'll still need some liner and gloss to add some definition. Otherwise you'll look like you've covered your lips with foundation.

Got this from a B2M exchange so It was "free". Not sure if I love it, but I don't hate it. I'm a DDD with reddish-brown skin. Chelsea is all brown. I like that I can wear it w/o lipliner and it stays put (I think this is because of the Satin Texture). I've noticed this looks better on me when I have an otherwise bare face. When I wear eyeshadow, Chelsea looks a little out of place because I don't wear boring colors. I would purchase again, only because I think brown is a good color to own (why I believe this, I don't really know). UPDATE: I ended up getting rid of it...just couldn't make it work...got MAC Spirit instead

I think Chelsea is pretty decent. I'm recently venturing in the YLBB area and chelsea is my first purchase so I don't have alot to compare it to. However, chelsea is pretty close to my skin tone so I have to wear it with a lipgloss with some color to spruce it up a bit. Love it with Love nectar lustreglass. I'm a darkskinned African American with lots of red undertones.

Im a GGG, NC 40, and this color works well with me..i guess it all depends on undertones..mine are super warm yet this still works...

Chelsea is a shade of beige and brown and my favorite lipstick. Rich and lovely, I like it.

I suppose it's my pale complexion that makes me look like completely bloodless in this. It's a dark brown, without any red in it. I've put it in a little lip palette and use it to tone down certain overly pink colors, but that's about the only use I've found for it.

This is not a color I would buy for myself again, but I have a couple of friend who love it. Oddly, one is a super-fair warm-toned redhead and the other friend is black. The redheaded friend prefers brownish lipsticks and it looks nice on her. My black friend likes this as a "her lips but better" look, and it looks nice on her too. On me, these types of colors make me look like death warmed over (I'm a cool-toned NC 15-20, ruddy complexion).

Chelsea is the exact colour of my skin (NC43-45). Blech! As you might imagine, it looks absolutely horrible on me. Lipless concealer-esque horror of horrors. It's a mid-brown, very matte looking. And Blech! I realize that there are others out there on whom this could be quite pretty, but GGG-DDD's beware :)

Mid-toned slightly plummy beige brown. One of my favorite brown colors. Creamy, too.

This is an in-between shade of beige and brown. It does not have any trace of red in there. It is pure light brown. I used to wear this a lot when everyone wore matte lipsticks!!
