Rarely do I buy a skincare products from the Loreal brand, however, I was pleasantly suprised when I purchased this moisturizer and discovered how well it worked with my problematic skin. I was in desperate need of a moisturizer with spf and most spf moisturizers leave the skin dry and pasty with a white sticky residue. However, this product left my skin well hydrated with no visible spf residue. This moisturizer blends into my skin very well and keeps my oily skin somewhat balanced. There are a few drawbacks (1) It leaves my skin looking extra shiny (2) It is a little heavy for the summer months, so during this time I use very little (3) the current design of the container makes using this product a little messy. Nonetheless, I've stuck with this product because it is cost efficient, the best out of all the drugstore spf moisturizers, and a little goes a long way.

At first, it was pretty hydrating, and I liked the way it smelled. I never had a problem with fragrances on my skin, so that didn't bother me.
But for the past two weeks, I noticed that I've been breaking out on my cheeks and other places I've never broke out at before.
I definitely do not recommend this to anyone with even combination skin... it makes you break out like crazy because it's not oil-free.
Now, back to my old moisturizer... Darn me and wanting to try new things, lol.

This lotion made my skin breakout into hives in epic proportions...so, yeah, if I could give it a negative rating I would. Btw, I am hyper sensitive to creams and lotions, I don't know why I do, but I do, anyways, this is the only lotion I've tried that I broke out into hives that felt like my face was burning...so 5 lippies DOWN!

This moisturizer is not oil-free (all skin types?) and feels greasy and sticky, not hydrating at all. It does work on my dry spots but unless I apply a sheer coverage this stuff is really gross actually. I would not recommend it at all especially not for oily skin.

I've been using this moisturizer for a couple years now. There is nothing wrong with it, in my opinion. I have combination skin with some dry patches. I tend to stay away from mattifying lotions because I feel like they make my skin produce even more oil. This moisturizer seems like an all around well-balanced moisturizer. It's pretty lightweight and moisturizes well. The scent kind of reminds me of charmkins (an old toy). It comes in a bottle with a screw top lid. The lotion is a pale yellow, buttery color.

I really loved this for the first week or so of using it, but as of the past few days, it has made me break out really badly. It's really irritating since my skin was starting to clear up a little with my new, attempted regimen. Now it is gross again. =[ It's just too greasy. I will have to go back to the Dove moisturizer I used before that I was sick of, but at least it didn't break me out.

I had been using Garnier's facial moisturizer for the past couple of months, and I hated the way it made my face feel and never softened my skin or made it feel moisturized enough.

So I was looking for a new moisturizer and ran across this one for about $6 at Walmart. I figured I'd give it a try. I LOVE this moisturizer! It doesn't make my face greasy at all (then again, I don't have oily skin, I have dry skin)... but it makes my face feel baby soft, and my foundation applies much better and smoother!
The only thing negative I have to say is I wish it had a pump! You have to be careful when pouring it, so as you don't get too much!

EDIT: After using this moisturizer for about 2 weeks, I noticed that it was greasy feeling and didn't leave my face very moisturized. I have switched to Cetaphil moisturizer which I like a lot more.

I have oily/ acne prone Asian skin and used to use the Olay Complete moisturizer. But after a few bottles, I feel that it is really a bit thick for me, especially in summer. So I started to search for SPF moisturizer again. I saw that this one was the cheapest at Longs Drugs for around $7/8 so I just gave it a try. I did not really have high hope on this one since I have never really been able to find a SPF moisturizer which won't make my skin oily/ breakout. After around 6 months of using it, I would say, this one is actually not bad. It is not as thick as Olay and it is ok after I covered it with make-up. HOWEVER, I wouldn't use it without make-up. I tried a few times like this and it just made my face look so 'shiny' and oily! So I would actually want to give it a 3.5, for its price and its ok quality.

So I'm still looking for the right SPF moisturizer... Actually after reading your great reviews, I just bought the Dove Deep Moisture Facial Lotion SPF 15 yesterday at Walmart (the last bottle!) for $5.69. I will certainly write a review on that one after I know the results! :)

This stuff is gross! I wouldn't wish this product on anyone. It made my face oily and just sat on top of my skin, it never soaked in. Clogged my pores too. Good times, good times....

I have been trying to find the "right" moisturizer with spf for ages. I was previously using Olay's Complete moisturizer, and it was working fine for the first few months, but recently my pores started getting a bit clogged, so I felt the need to switch. I figured I'd give this L'Oreal product a try since it was reasonably priced and had the spf 15 that I require. I've only been using this for four days and it is already causing additional breakouts to my sensitive/combination skin. The consistency is very rich - a little too rich for my needs, and it leaves a very shiny residue on my face that is very visible throughout the day. My search continues....

I bought this because it was the cheapest sunscreen/face lotion at Target (it was a little more than $7). I like that it doesn't smell overwhelmingly like sunscreen, and any fragrance it does have fades on me after a few minutes. It absorbs quickly, doesn't make me greasy, and it doesn't feel heavy on my skin. After it absorbed I couldn't tell I was wearing lotion. The only thing I don't love is the lack of a pump. I poured out a little more lotion than I really needed for my face, so I put it on my neck.

UPDATE (1/24/08): After using for about a week, I've realized that this makes my skin extremely greasy. I have to use blotting sheets or powder after this or I'm really shining. I'll use it up but won't repurchase. If you have oily or combo/oily skin, try something oil free (that's what I'll do once I'm done with this).

If you decide to purchase this for the first time, take caution when pouring it out!

The first time I used this, I accidently poured a huge puddle of it onto my hand because the mouth of the bottle is so big while the consistency of the product is so runny.

It's been a pretty basic moisturizer, but I have no real raves about it. I like it enough to finish the bottle, but will not be repurchasing. Still searching for my HG moisturizer!

This is the best moisturizer I've ever used. It's a really nice consistency and it soaks in my skin really fast. I also like that it is SPF 15. It would be nice if it had a pump though.

I have very, very fair skin and this seems to keep my face nice and even, and even though my skin is oily, it absorbs quickly and doesn't seem to make my face feel even more oily. Its getting to be a bit colder now, and this is a nice consistency for winter ( not to thick, not to thin) I usually use a gel for moisterization, but Im loving this stuff right now.

I love this product and I can't understand all the bad reviews. Someone said they could get a cheaper moisturizer, but this is all of $7! Many have also made a point about it having no pump, but with a pump you don't get all of the product from the bottle and you can't control the amount you get out easily. It's really no hardship to pour a little cream into my palm! Pumps are also expensive - if there was a pump the price would go up! Anyway, I always used Clarins, La Prairie, Estee Lauder etc but have switched to cheap brands as the science we now have says that the best things you can do for your skin are to stay out out the sun and don't smoke. I have never smoked, stayed out of the sun most of my life as it quickly makes me feel ill (I'm English and not used to strong sun), and have never crash-dieted. I was 33 yesterday. I think my skin looks pretty OK but that's down to no sun or smoke I think! So I thought, this regime of no smoke or sun plus cheaper products is a good way to save money. And so far, after 3 months, I think this product is a fab all-round basic. It has a lovely consistency, a nice smell, absorbs beautifully and leaves my skin feeling silky-soft. I'm glad about the SPF and also it has Vitamin B.

I bought this moisturizer because I didn't want to spend gobs of money on a moisturizer that I hadn't cleared through MUA :o). So I got this until I could get something that has had some great reviews. I am impressed with the way this moisturizer absorbs into my skin. Because it is really hot and my skin tends to much oilier, it doesn't leave it greasy and I REALLY love that. As a basic moisturizer and for the price, it's not bad but it's just a hold over for me. I really don't like the fact that it has no pump. I had been using Kiss My Face's Peaches and Cream moisturizer but it has Alpha Hydroxy and I want to give it a break. So my next investment will probably be Oil of Olay's Total Effects Anti-Blemish formula.

This was one of the worst moisturizers I have used. I really, really hate how it comes out. There is no pump or anything, you just have to pour it into your hands. And it ended up always spilling everywhere, because it was so thin and runny. It made my face feel greasy and gross, and it made me break out really bad as well.

this is a great moisturizer. i've tried a few, and this is my favorite so far. it absorbs well, and has a really nice fragrance. its great for getting rid of dry flakey skin, and it doesnt irritate or sting at all, like many moisturizers have done in the past. and it has spf! the only thing i dont like about it is that it doesn't come with a pump, you have to pour it out which is annoying. i would repurchase anyway.

Not crazy about this moisturizer, it is reasonably priced but left my skin feeling greasy. I found it to not be great as a makeup primer at all, my liquid foundation seemed to slip alot over this, however when I use mineral makeup it wasn't as bad.
