It's ok. I bought it at the airport since there was a Kiehl's store there and I wanted to try one of their grooming aids. It was actually the silk one I wanted to try, not this, but I did not remember that at the time.

I tried this first on my fine, thin, dryish hair while I was in Germany, which was very humid (at least compared to the desert where I live!). I used it as a leave in/styling aid after I washed and conditioned my hair. It did not make my hair too flat or over conditioned; in fact, my hair was wildy puffy, which almost never happens. I figured this + humidity was a bad idea, so didn't use it again til I got home.

At home, it's not making my hair poofy, but it's just underwhelming. I might as well have put no styling product in my hair at all. It just looks like it would with nothing: kind of dry, with flyaways and a bit of frizz. I have to add something on top of this to make it work, so what's the point?

I can't imagine using this as a rinse out conditioner if it does absolutely nothing when I leave it in.

Good product if not quite as good as Kiehls dear old discontinued leave-in conditioner. But the price!! $50 more in Australia than the US price (I looked on the US website) which is totally ludicrous especially given the AUD is currently above the USD. Not sure how Kiehls manage this. No wonder the Kiehls counter at DJs is usually empty.

I love this stuff. I have fine hair but lots of it, it has a slight wave, and so can be prone to frizz. This conditiner, left my hair baby soft, but still allowed me to wear my hair wavy, but with no frizz. Also it works great as a styling product, it's fantastic at tamimg flyaways. Will definately repurchase.

This is expensive but it is so worth the money. It lasts for ages as I only need to use a small amount despite having very long hair and it really works! It leaves my hair soft, frizz and tangle free and perfectly straight, whereas other products have made my hair go frizzy and flicky. I like the fact that it isn't too thick because I can put it on my roots too without worrying about them getting greasy. A really great product!

I received a sample sachet of this and was very pleasantly surprised by it. The texture is very lightweight and it sinks into my hair almost immediately and makes it looks healthier with less flyaways but without weighing it down. I like that this doesn't have any silicones in it which means no dreaded build-up. I'll be buying a full size bottle for sure.

Husband got a sample-size of this, and I've nearly used it up... Great styling aid. I don't use this as a conditioner (as conditioner just gets rinsed out, use the cheapest you can find!) in fact I don't use conditioner at all. Just wash hair, towel dry, and apply a pea-sized dab of this stuff to the ends and through hair. Air-dry, and my hair (v fine, lots of it) is soft and frizz-free.

I've used loads of leave-in conditioners and styling products (including Kiehl's silk groom) and they're all either too heavy or make my scalp itch like crazy. This is now my no. 1 hair product. Kiehl's is super-expensive in the UK, so will have friends in the US get it for me, or wait till my next trip to the US!

This is a great detangler. I have natural curly hair and the last thing I want to do is comb out tangles. I use this sometimes by itself and it does the trick. It does not moisturize as much as I would like it too. I like that it leaves a light scent behind. I used it a lot when I was in the Caribbean after I came from the beach. The salt water dried out and created a lot of tangles. Using this in the shower helped me tremendously.

This is my HG leave in conditioner/styling product. I put it into my wet/damp hair and presto! My wavy hair is natural, but not frizz-tastic. And it smells like neroli. Perfect.

I had a problem with conditioners either drying out my hair and making it frizzy or making my hairline break out in very painful cysts. (I think silicones were the culprits.) This stuff is amazing. It totally turned my situation around, and now my hair is soft, frizz-free, and perfectly wavy. Best of all, no breakouts!

It's expensive, so I had to switch to drugstore shampoo and mousse to make up the price difference, but my hair STILL looks better than it ever has before. I use this as a regular rinse-out conditioner, and then rub a little more right onto the ends just before stepping out of the shower. I add a little mousse, let my hair airdry, and that's it. I will never, ever, ever buy any conditioner but this one.

This product has become an HG love for me. My only complaint... is that it's so expensive. I don't mind the frill-free packaging or the lack of feminine scent at all. But $18 for a 4oz bottle is a bit much, but I keep convincing myself that this conditioner is worth it.

My hair is color-treated, highlighted, and very fine... but there is A LOT of it. My hair is also naturally coarse and wavy, so finding a conditioner that makes it soft and smooth without weighing it down is difficult.

Kiehl's conditoner and grooming aid smells fresh and clean without a heavy scent, feels wonderful to apply and combs through easily in the shower. It gives my hair a nice 'slip' as I'm rinsing it out, also. (FYI: I never rinse this out all the way, and sometimes even add a little more to my towel-dried hair before styling.) This conditioner makes my hair soft and shiny. Of course, my hair is too thick to use this conditioner as a detangler, but my hair is definitely much softer. When using Kiehl's in combination with a moisturizing shampoo, this is the perfect conditioner for my hair. My hair is not greasy or weighed-down, but is still soft and shiny and my scalp feels clean.

Now, I do recommend using a deep conditioner once a week for dry or damaged hair (in my case, I heat-style with a flat iron 3x each week) because this conditioner might not provide enough moisture for those of us who abuse our hair. But overall, this conditioner is one of my product loves.

I wonder if this conditioner would work for CO washing?

Okay, so I didn't buy it, but I had a sample of it when I stayed in this resort. How is it supposed to condition my hair when it's practically water and drips out of my hair? UGH.

A much better leave-in condish then the actual Kiehl's Leave-In Conditioner, this leaves my thick, color-treated hair soft and full of moisture. The product they intend as a leave-in doesn't come close to this I'm afraid.

It's way too light for me for a rinse out, but a nickel to quarter sized dollop of this leaves my hair in excellent condition. The smell is clean and fresh, never cloying. I have and will continue to repurchase.

BEST conditioner out there... my hair is really dry from using a straightening iron so much and this is the only conditioner that has really helped repair it. My hair feels so much softer and healthier after using it. It's a little pricey but it's definitely worth it :)

I use this with the Amino Acid shampoo and together they work wonders to my hair, which btw is not chemically treated. I always rinse this off.

Most conditioners, including Sisley, make my hair limpy and gives me cystic acne.

So far this conditioner has been friendly to my skin and hair, leaves it shiny and with body.

I love multi tasking products that do everything they say they will do well. It's a great easy to use conditioner, just spray it on and and comb - never had any tangles using this. It's probably not conditioning enough for really dry hair, though. In between washes it's great as a styling product to smooth any frizzies without weighing down my hair.

Kiehls Formula 133 Conditioner and Grooming Aid - It's thin coming out of the bottle, but somehow manages to add lasting moisture without weighing down my hair. I've been through many bottles of this, and keep coming back to it. Even when I decide to experiment with some other conditioner that leaves my hair dry and flyaway, a nickel sized drop of this stuff added on as a leave-in smoothes things over without feeling gummy or heavy. I often use this as a styling aid instead of the famous Silk Groom as it is lighter, absorbs better, and does not make my hair greasy.

My hair is very dry from over-processing and I use this post-shower after I have shampooed and conditioned my hair. It makes it quite thick and shiny like it used to be and doesnt weigh my fine hair down. I like it although it is pretty $$. I have never tried it as a conditioner alone, though I imagine if it can be used as a leave-in it must be very light -- I wouldn't bother trying.

This is a really good detangler...I've actually never used it as a rinse out conditioner, but maybe I will soon! As a leave in, it makes it so easy to comb and I feel like it is nourishing my hair because of the proteins (there are a lot) in it. I don't use it every day, because the proteins will really dry it out if you use this more than every few shampoos or so. And others have commented on the smell, which for some reason I really really like. It smells like suntan lotion, so it reminds me of the beach.

A good conditioner with nice light scent. Way too expensive for the small 4oz bottle at $19.

This product is a MUST HAVE for today's hairstyles. I have the frizziest, wavy hair and this product is amazing. I use it after shampooing and leave it in, not rising it out at all. Afterwards, I blow dry or let air dry. I then use it as a styling aid. Note: I do have to use a considerable amount to achieve the desired affect, thus is might not be the most cost conscious product. It doesn't weight my hair down at all (I have fine hair) and creates beautiful, voluptuous waves. I couldn't live without this. It has truly changed my hair.
