This is OK. Barely shows up on the eyelids. Not sure of the purpose as most of my eyeshadows have shimmer or glitter in them with them. I am not sure if I would buy this again, as I don't get any use out of it.

Ok, I had the worst experience with this product! It looked really pretty in the case but when I got home there was no pigmentation just chunks of glitter, which I don't find particularly appealing. The case was pretty cheap and plasticy for the price (after paying half price for this it was still too much!) Not only that but after wearing it for a week, (I was going to get my money's worth!!) I broke out in this horrible rash all over my eyes! I have sensitive skin but I have been around the makeup block quite a few times and I have never ever had a reaction to makeup! Ever! I threw it out after that and it was 2 weeks before I could wear makeup again. I would NOT buy this again!

I love you too Paula!!! These are absolutely beautiful shadows. They showed up in sets of three huge pans sets and a soft eyeshadow brush at TJ Maxx for $22. I bought 7 sets. Yep. I was suffering from a severe case of wanting to try these shadows for a really long time. Two of those were combo sets, but I got a tremendous amount of eyeshadow glimmers. I love them. Every single one I have tried has lasted on my oil slick eyelids. The texture is beautiful, the glimmer is not overly obvious. It adds a beautiful glow. I agree with the reviewer below. Stila and MAC don't hold a candle to these. They actually remind me of (sad to say) a better quality Bobbi Brown. And I actually don't think BB has bad shadows. The old Chanel Shadowlights (like Vega, my HG) is about the same texture and staying power. I'm really impressed. I mean these are HUGE pots of shadow. They ended up costing about $6 each. LOVE it! Might get some backups. Might be wise.

Paula, where have you been all my life?? You have simply the most stunning shadows I have ever laid eyes on. Your line frankly puts any other e/s I have ever used to shame and I say this with conviction because I am an eye shadow addict! This has quickly become my HG e/s of all time. I don't know how or why I didn't discover this line sooner. The colors are exquisite, both glimmers and mattes, a vivid array of velvet browns, grays, greens, purples, peaches, the whole spectrum, but with more pigment, intensity and vibrance of anything I've ever seen. Even my Stila shadows don't compare, as much as I love them. If you haven't tried PD's e/s, they are worth every single penny. You get a whole lot of product for the price, the most exquisite colors, textures and long-lasting wear of any e/s I've tried. EVER. This is the best makeup discovery I've made in years! Forget MAC and even Stila e/s ( I hate to say it because I really do love them both!) but they're both owned by Estee and I swear I can tell a huge difference in the formulation since Estee bought them out a while ago, especially MAC. Their colors are great but the texture and wearability has changed. Paula Dorf e/s are what MAC used to be but more beautiful and long lasting. Paula, please don't sell out to Estee! I can't rave enough about this line. Deserves more than 5 lippies!

I have this in "Mambo" - a smokey black with gold shimmer. Makes a nice liner color when applied with care.
Large quantity of product and nicely pigmented. High price for what it is - see if you can get it for less on e-bay.

I was looking for a blue eyeshadow that is not garish or too blue. The sales lady at Macys showed me the Paula Dorf Boogie Woogie. The minute I tried it on, I noticed this blue with a hint of silver really draws out my dark brown eyes. I bought it immediately. The texture is satin with a little shimmer. The color is subtle enough to wear to work or during the day (apply one coat.) For evenings, this shade can give the eyes a lot of drama. The price $19 is steep but the container is quite large, and I use very little at a time. So it'll last for months.

These triple-pigmented shadows go on SO well and the colors are numerous and unique. Halo is my absolute favorite. I think they are priced pretty fairly at $18 for .1 oz which is twice the size of MAC's for only about $4.50 more.

I probably wont ever have to buy this product again - they give u SO much. I know that I'll never finish.
I purchased hypnotic (dark shimmery brown), which is so sophisticated. The shimmer is so subdued and wearable. I've worn it to interviews and still it looks sophisticated and appropriate.
I also bought mambo which is an dark charcoal shimmer. I've seen similar product by nars, but for me this product works better. Not as intense, but nonetheless provides a sophisticated smoky evening look. I team this up with hypnotic to create a smoky look.
The price is a little high. I wouldnt mind less product lower price, but I know it just doesnt work that way. oh well

I picked this up in Wild Thing, which is similar to NARS Gigi, only several shades lighter. Such a pretty deep purple! I have only worn it as a shadow so far, but will be trying it as a liner as well. So far, I'm very happy with it! Blends well, seems to last long. I really love this color and may have to try more!

I have recently become quite a fan of Paula Dorf. The Total Camouflage concealer, Perfect Glo foundation, Baby Eye liner, Playmate blush, and Baby Love lipstick have quickly become staples in my vanity. I was quite surprised that the e/s do not have the same high quality as do the other PD products I've used.
Firstly, the color range is not there. I purchased Swing (a shimmery peach pink) and Fudgesicle (a coppery bronze). Doing a search on Sephora, I realised I must have purchased the last few Swing e/s around as that shade is no longer offered.
The e/s feel rather gritty. Unlike Stila and MAC e/s shimmer e/s, the texture of the PD e/s was not smooth at all. Although pretty in the package, on the lid, both shades lacked pigment. I had to apply several applications of Swing for the shadow's color to appear noticible on my lids. Despite the darker color, Fudgesicle also lacked pigment. The e/s did not crease, however, due to the lack of pigment, both e/s were barely noticeable on my PPP complexion. The packaging is a plus if you travel or lug your make-up bag to the gym. However, due to the problems with pigment and texture, I will be sticking to my HG e/s made by Stila.

I have this in Mercury. It is a shimmery taupe. The texture is awesome and feels like silk. It blends easily too. However, I am underwhelmed. It is not highly pigmented and I have to use a lot to get the color to show up. Without a heavy handed application, the color tends to look muddy and mottled on me. My reasons for not liking the shadow is more of not liking the color on me rather than the quality of it.

I just love this in Bewitched. It is the perfect light taupe. *Just* barely enough shimmer so that it's not flat...even though it is practically matte. It's a little pricey, but you get a lot of product. And the quality is wonderful...smoooooth blending and creaseless application that lasts well. But the color...ah! Dust it on lightly as an all over color, use on just the lid, or even in the crease if you build it up enough. Rave!

I was really disappointed with this product. I bought this in Prism because I wanted a change for my brown eyes and thought that the color looked really pretty. When I got home, i immediately put it on and I could barely see it! I kept layering and layering and by the time that it showed up, it started creasing and looked cakey. The staying power is awful, as well. I put it on at eight the next morning and it was completely gone by ten o'clock brunch.

I have this product in Lamay. I love this color. I use it as a highlighter on my cheeks or high on my brow bone - otherwise I don't use it all. It creaseless immediately after putting it on. I would stick to BeneFit's creaseless eyeshadows - they are the only ones that I have tried that don't crease. No, I wouldn't buy this product again.

I have Fudgicle, a gorgeous coppery-brown shade. I love the way these layer. One layer makes a great all-over lid/crease shade. 2 layers really bring out the copper and 3 builds serious color. I also have Prism which is an exact match for NARS Night Fairy, but without the creasing.
They wear ever better than MAC shadows. Must have more!!!

I am so disappointed in this product. I received DejaVu, a deep beautiful purple shimmer in a swap and was excited as i have always admired the PD shadows. Unfortunately, this product faded and creased horribly. I did use it with MAC paints and it did last but it only works with that as a base. Cant use it on its own.
